xoreos is an open source implementation of BioWare's Aurora engine and its derivatives, licensed under the terms of the GNU General Public License version 3 (or later). The goal is to have all games using this engines working in a portable manner, starting from Neverwinter Nights and ending with Dragon Age II.Currently, the "foundation" work of managing resources, reading many basic file formats, displaying graphics and playing sounds has been done. All targeted games show partial ingame graphics, such as the area geometry and objects, letting you fly around in a "spectator mode". Some games show partial menus, and something resembling a starting point for a script system is there.
Ranvier is a MUD game engine. Out of the box Ranvier is configured to use a telnet server and will work with any MUD client you've used to connect to other MUDs. It runs a websocket server simultaneously, meaning players can also connect to your game with a websocket client at the same time. However, Ranvier supports any transport server you want to use; changing the entire networking layer is as easy as adding a command. Ranvier also has a GUI builder available, Soma.
XNA SRPG Engine strives to create an engine for XNA developers to use when creating an SRPG in C#. The goals are to make character (sprite) and map (tilsheet) loading automated using XML and images and to have the engine represented to the XNA client in a strong library form.

SDLPAL is an SDL-based open-source cross-platform reimplementation of the classic Chinese RPG game Xiān jiàn Qí Xiá Zhuàn (Chinese: 仙剑奇侠传/仙劍奇俠傳) (also known as Chinese Paladin or Legend of Sword and Fairy, or PAL for short).
