In a nutshell, you tell WrapUp you require something, it calculates dependencies for something using static analysis, and compiles a single JavaScript file that only exposes that something you required. require paths inside modules are replaced with unique identifiers for brevity, and you will only be able to access directly that something you required, never dependencies (unless specifically required).


qdd - Download JavaScript Dependencies, really fast

This tool, qdd, is not meant as a replacement for npm or even for npm ci. npm is a full-featured JavaScript project management tool, and qdd is not. npm ci isn't a full-featured tool, but still is subject to some overhead in order to maintain levels of compatibility that we're completely ignoring.

For long term storage of chart packages, it is desirable to use AWS S3 as the storage backing. helm-chart-s3-publisher acts as the shuttle for you to push new charts or update existing charts to AWS S3.
