cpr - C++ Requests: Curl for People, a spiritual port of Python Requests

  •    C++

C++ Requests is a simple wrapper around libcurl inspired by the excellent Python Requests project. Despite its name, libcurl's easy interface is anything but, and making mistakes misusing it is a common source of error and frustration. Using the more expressive language facilities of C++11, this library captures the essence of making network calls into a few concise idioms.

restclient-cpp - C++ client for making HTTP/REST requests

  •    C++

This is a simple REST client for C++. It wraps libcurl for HTTP requests. restclient-cpp provides two ways of interacting with REST endpoints. There is a simple one, which doesn't need you to configure an object to interact with an API. However the simple way doesn't provide a lot of configuration options either. So if you need more than just a simple HTTP call, you will probably want to check out the advanced usage.

curlpp - C++ wrapper around libcURL

everything-curl - The book documenting the curl project, the curl tool, libcurl and everything related to this

  •    Perl

Everything curl is an extensive guide to everything there is to know about curl, the project, the command-line tool, the library, how everything started and how it came to be what it is today. How we work on developing it further, what it takes to use it, how you can contribute with code and bug reports and why all those millions of existing users use it. This book is meant to be interesting and useful to both casual readers and the somewhat more experienced developers, and offers something for you all to pick and choose from. Don't read it from front to back. Read the chapters you are curious about and go back and forth as you see fit.

RB-libcURL - Realbasic and Xojo bindings for libcurl

  •    Basic

libcurl is a cross-platform multi-protocol network transfer library. It is widely used both as a stand-alone command-line utility and as a standard or optional library for many programming languages and development environments. RB-libcURL is a libcurl binding for Realbasic and Xojo ("classic" framework) projects. Library binaries for various platforms are available, or can built from source.

katipo - HTTP client for Erlang based on libcurl and libevent

perl6-net-curl - Use libcurl (client-side URL transfer library) API in Perl 6

  •    Perl6

Net::Curl provides a Perl 6 interface to libcurl. The plan is support the libcurl Easy interface first and run all the libcurl website examples and then support an object-oriented interface.

CurlSharp - CurlSharp - .Net binding and object-oriented wrapper for libcurl.

  •    CSharp

CurlSharp is a .Net binding and object-oriented wrapper for libcurl. CurlSharp provides simple get/set properties for libcurl's options and information functions, event-based hooks to libcurl's I/O, status, and progress callbacks, and wraps the c-style file I/O behind simple filename properties. The CurlEasy class contains has more than 100 different properties and methods to handle a wide variety of URL transfer requirements. While this may seem overwhelming at first glance, the good news is you will probably need only a tiny subset of these for most situations.

Browser - A Simple to use yet efficient headers only library ( wrapped over libcurl / curl wrapper ) to do browser emulation (emulate) or web interaction in C++

  •    C++

Inspired by the python library mechanize.Browser A Simple to use yet efficient headers only library (wrapped over libcurl / curl wrapper) to emulate a browser in C++. It helps, simplify web interaction, and makes code maintenance less painful. All the regex are written by hand reducing the dependencies to one library: libcurl; which is pretty small. Keep in mind that this is really alpha, I wrote this when I wasn't at ease with oop and I need to rewrite it. I'll soon push a mini, cleaner, and more usable version of the Browser wrapper without the forms and links add-ups. I made this library to make it easier to translate my python script that use mechanize.Browser into C++. Without this library the process to do what I normally do in python is a huge pain. I might soon write the whole the cheat sheet of the equivalence of the python mechanize.Browser into the C++ Browser. You can take a look at this example of the python library called mechanize.Browser() which inspired me http://stockrt.github.com/p/emulating-a-browser-in-python-with-mechanize/ , imagine doing a simple thing like that in C++ and that's what the library does.

fcurl - fcurl - fopen, fread, fwrite style functions for URL operations using libcurl

  •    C

The fopen, fread, fwrite et all functions are common and a standard "idiom" in many C programs. By providing fcurl* functions with the same general behavior as the file based versions, but instead allowing URLs where file names are otherwise used, this is an attempt to allow existing file-based applications to switch over to read and write files over common internet protocols instead.
