node-tensorflow - Node.js + TensorFlow

  •    Javascript

TensorFlow is Google's machine learning runtime. It is implemented as C++ runtime, along with Python framework to support building a variety of models, especially neural networks for deep learning. It is interesting to be able to use TensorFlow in a node.js application using just JavaScript (or TypeScript if that's your preference). However, the Python functionality is vast (several ops, estimator implementations etc.) and continually expanding. Instead, it would be more practical to consider building Graphs and training models in Python, and then consuming those for runtime use-cases (like prediction or inference) in a pure node.js and Python-free deployment. This is what this node module enables.

alexa-assistant - Implementation of the Google Assistant SDK as an Alexa skill

  •    Javascript

The skill is hosted on AWS which is an Amazon service. The usage of this skill is free for many thousands of requests however Amazon still require a credit card incase you start using their services beyond the free limits. Your credit card details stay with Amazon - neither I nor any other developers can access them. If you wish to reproduce the installation instructions hosted on your own website (I really wish you wouldn't as it makes my life very difficult to support and update the skill) then you may do so and link to my Cloudformation template (and consequently the zips on my S3 buckets) provided that there is no monetisation on the page e.g. adverts. If you do wish to have monetisation then you will need to create your own instructions and host your own Cloudformation template and associated zip files.

html-pdf-chrome - HTML to PDF converter via Chrome/Chromium

node-steam-chat-bot - Simplified interface for a steam chat bot

  •    Javascript

Note: I'm not really planning to update this anymore, check out Efreak's fork for more functionality. Simplified interface for a steam chat bot. This is a wrapper around Steam for Node.js which is aimed at making an easily configurable chatbot that sits in Steam groups chat rooms and responds to various events. Responses are handled as a set of triggers of various types which can be configured to respond to a number of different chat messages. Steam requires that a user has at least one game before it can join chat rooms (unless it's a mod), so you'll need to buy a game for the bot account or make it a mod before it will be able to join.
