typescript-vs-flowtype - Differences between Flowtype and TypeScript -- syntax and usability

  •

Both TypeScript and Flow are very similar products and they share most of their syntax with some important differences. In this document I've tried to compile the list of differences and similarities between Flowtype and TypeScript -- specifically the syntax, usage and usability. This document might be incomplete and/or contain mistakes and was last updated to describe TypeScript 3.0 and Flow 0.79.1.

apollo-cli - :pencil2: Command line tool for development and production Apollo workflows

  •    TypeScript

Apollo CLI brings together your GraphQL clients and servers with tools for validating your schema, linting your operations for compatibility with your server, and generating static types for improved client-side type safety. Checks your GraphQL operations for compatibility with the server. Checks against the published schema in Apollo Engine.

react-redux-typescript-guide - The complete guide to static typing in "React & Redux" apps using TypeScript

  •    TypeScript

You should check out Playground Project located in the /playground folder. It is a source of all the code examples found in the guide. They are all tested with the most recent version of TypeScript and 3rd party type definitions (like @types/react or @types/react-redux) to ensure the examples are up-to-date and not broken with updated definitions. Playground was created in such a way that you can simply clone the repository locally and immediately play around on your own. It will help you to learn all the examples from this guide in a real project environment without the need to create some complicated environment setup by yourself.

GoJS - JavaScript diagramming library for interactive flowcharts, org charts, design tools, planning tools, visual languages

  •    Javascript

GoJS is a JavaScript and TypeScript library for creating and manipulating diagrams, charts, and graphs. GoJS is a flexible library that can be used to create a number of different kinds of interactive diagrams, including data visualizations, drawing tools, and graph editors. There are samples for flowchart, org chart, business process BPMN, swimlanes, timelines, state charts, kanban, network, mindmap, sankey, family trees and genogram charts, fishbone diagrams, floor plans, UML, decision trees, pert charts, Gantt, and hundreds more. GoJS includes a number of built in layouts including tree layout, force directed, radial, and layered digraph layout, and a number of custom layout examples.

javascript-obfuscator - A powerful obfuscator for JavaScript and Node.js

  •    TypeScript

JavaScript obfuscator is a powerful free obfuscator for JavaScript with a wide number of features which provides protection for your source code. It is not recommended to obfuscate vendor scripts and polyfills, since the obfuscated code is 15-80% slower (depends on options) and the files are significantly larger.

apollo-tooling - :pencil2: Tooling for development and production Apollo workflows

  •    TypeScript

Apollo CLI brings together your GraphQL clients and servers with tools for validating your schema, linting your operations for compatibility with your server, and generating static types for improved client-side type safety. Generate static types for GraphQL queries. Can use the published schema in Apollo Engine or a downloaded schema.

apollo-codegen - :pencil2: Generate API code or type annotations based on a GraphQL schema and query documents

  •    TypeScript

This is a tool to generate API code or type annotations based on a GraphQL schema and query documents. It currently generates Swift code, TypeScript annotations, Flow annotations, and Scala code, we hope to add support for other targets in the future.

throat - Throttle a collection of promise returning functions

  •    Javascript

Throttle the parallelism of an asynchronous, promise returning, function / functions. This has special utility when you set the concurrency to 1. That way you get a mutually exclusive lock. This returns a function that acts a bit like a lock (exactly as a lock if concurrency is 1).

utility-types - Utility Types for TypeScript (provide migration from Flow's Utility Types)

  •    TypeScript

The primary goal of this library is to provide a set of proven Utility Types (inspired by Set Theory and functional languages) that should complement existing TypeScript Mapped Types. The secondary goal is to provide a compatibility layer with Flow's Utility Types. Flow and TypeScript have a lot in common. By using this library TypeScript Developers will become more familiar with differences to "Flow" and extend their static-typing toolbelt. Moreover it can help to migrate between "Flow" and "TypeScript" projects much easier.

sucrase - Super-fast alternative to Babel for when you can target modern JS runtimes

  •    TypeScript

Sucrase is an alternative to Babel that allows super-fast development builds. Instead of compiling a large range of JS features down to ES5, Sucrase assumes that you're targeting a modern JS runtime (e.g. Node.js 8 or latest Chrome) and focuses on compiling non-standard language extensions: JSX, TypeScript, and Flow. Because of this smaller scope, Sucrase can get away with an architecture that is much more performant but less extensible and maintainable.

json-ts - Automatically generate Typescript Definition files or Flow types from JSON input.

  •    Javascript

Automatically generate Typescript Definition files or Flow types from JSON input. Note: only stdin (which requires the --stdin flag) & filepaths are supported right now. Later I will add support for Windows, reading data from network requests etc.

shapeshifter - 🐺 Generate relational schemas, PropTypes, Flow aliases, and TypeScript interfaces from JSON or GraphQL schematic files

  •    Javascript

Shapeshifter is a command line tool for generating ECMAScript (ES) compatible files that export PropTypes, Flow aliases, and TypeScript interfaces, as well as relation schema classes from JS, JSON or GraphQL schematic files. Schematics can represent database tables, API endpoints, data structures, resources, internal shapes, and more.

jstyper - 🦆 Adds Flow / TypeScript types to JavaScript files

  •    TypeScript

JsTyper adds {TypeScript, Flow, Closure} types to JavaScript programs using iterative type propagation and the TypeScript Language Services.

s2s - Coding time Compile. A tool to write code fastest.

  •    Javascript

Monitor your coding and generate code in real time. When the file names match, a single Babel plugin is executed and the formatted code is reflected in the editor.

safe-types - Type safe utils inspired from the Rust language for writing better TypeScript/Flow.

  •    TypeScript

Type safe utils inspired from the Rust language for writing better JavaScript. Written in typescript with support for flow definitions. This library started out as an experiment both to learn Rust concepts as well as to determine whether some of Rust's types can be mapped to TypeScript and improve the safety of TypeScript/JavaScript. It's my opinion that a library like this requires a 100% TypeScript environment to provide security of JS types. Without the TypeScript compiler and tooling, these primitives may make your data more opaque rather than provide insight and clarity into the many states application data can be in. Using an editor like vscode can bridge that gap somewhat since it provides built in intellisense via the typescript language server.

strict-map - Stricter Map

  •    Javascript

This is especially useful with Flow or TypeScript where you'd normally have to check if the value returned from map.get() is undefined.
