Prototype of a cross browser jQuery CSS hook that falls back to Microsofts filter gradient (IE6-8) or SVG (e.g. IE9) if CSS3 gradients are not supported. It also handels Webkit's old gradient syntax (still used on a lot of mobile devices).
jQuery collapser is a small and useful jQuery plugin for collapsing/truncating an element text by words, characters and lines with a flexible API. It is an all in one plugin with multiple functionalities to truncate a paragraph or any element as desired.
CSS3 Text Shadow is not supported in Internet Explorer, but it is however possible to create an equivialant effect with the IE propertiary CSS Filter Blur and serve this with the jQuery plugin jquery.textshadow.js.
