MongoDB-Express-Angular-and-Node

  •        3

MongoDB, Express, Angular and Node.js Fundamentals begins by demystifying the MEAN architecture. You will take a look at the features of the JavaScript technologies, frameworks, or libraries that make up a MEAN stack. You will learn how to develop a RESTful API using Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB Atlas. You will also learn how to build a blogging application using the MEAN stack. Next, you will learn about authentication using MEAN, and explore the features of Angular, such as pipes, reactive forms, modules and optimizing apps, animations and unit testing, and much more. By the end of the course, you will get all the knowledge you need to become a pro at developing efficient web applications using JavaScript technologies.

mean - The MEAN stack uses Mongo, Express, Angular(4) and Node for simple and scalable fullstack js applications

  •    Javascript

MEAN started out as a combination of MongoDB, ExpressJS, AngularJS and Node.js. With MEAN2 we are providing the ability to mix and match additional frontend frameworks, databases and technologies. We aim to create a robust, flexible and scalable full-stack javascript solution. The default MEAN stack you get out of the box can work with either Angular or React and is built with the following technologies...

Angular seed app setup with a express / oauth / mongodb / bootstrap

skeleton - Node Express MongoDB Bootstrap Passport... all rolled up into juicy goodness

  •    Javascript

I borrowed heavily from Hackathon-starter and Drywall. The reason is third party OAUTH authentication is painful. Passportjs helps tremendously but there are not many good examples of how to use it. Both of these frameworks really show how it's done. Both are actively maintained and are really great starting points. I recommend either of them highly. Of the two, Drywall is more sophisticated. It has an extensive User/Account/Roles system to handle different types of accounts and account permissions. It also has a very cool Administration area. In addition, the client side uses Backbone. This framework allows for unique scripts and css on a per page basis - nice! Overall this framework has some GREAT stuff in it. It's just maybe a little too big/rich if you just want to start building a simple site.

clementinejs - The elegant and lightweight full stack JavaScript boilerplate.

  •    Javascript

Clementine.js is a lightweight boilerplate for fullstack JavaScript development which utilizes MongoDB, Express and Node.js. Coming in at just under 32 KB, Clementine.js is a perfect alternative to more feature-dense boilerplates. Clementine.js errs on the side of transparency and simplicity, making it an ideal starting point for beginner and seasoned developers alike. Note that this implementation assumes the developer wishes to perform implementation of more complex features him- or herself.

node-express-mongoose-demo - A simple demo app using express, mongoose, passport for beginners

  •    Javascript

This is a demo node.js application illustrating various features used in everyday web development, with a fine touch of best practices. The demo app is a blog application where users (signing up using facebook, twitter, github and simple registrations) can create an article, delete an article and add comments on the article. and replace the values there. In production env, it is not safe to keep the ids and secrets in a file, so you need to set it up via commandline. If you are using heroku checkout how environment variables are set here.

  •    Javascript

This is a full stack webapp boilerplate project with VueJS + ExpressJS + MongoDB. It is NOT an out-of-box project. I make it in order to create an up-to-date starter repo which contains all important functions (user signup, login, oauth, profile, ...etc) except the business-logic. So when neccessary I can create a new webapp and only need to develop the business logic.

generator-meanjs - MEAN.JS Official Yeoman Generator

  •    Javascript

MEAN.JS is a full-stack JavaScript open-source solution, which provides a solid starting point for MongoDB, Node.js, Express, and AngularJS based applications. The idea is to solve the common issues with connecting those frameworks, build a robust framework to support daily development needs, and help developers use better practices while working with popular JavaScript components. One of the most frequently asked features from MEAN users is a way to scaffold their applications. As we looked for a way to help the community build and deploy production level MEAN applications, we decided to go with a Yeoman generator. Yeoman generators provides a powerful, easy to maintain, and open solution for scaffolding applications.
