qrl-wallet - QRL Wallet

  •        8

It provides both web and desktop interfaces using Meteor, Semantic UI, NodeJS and Electron. All secure XMSS operations are run in a web assembly compiled version of qrllib locally in your browser or desktop application. Keys stay in the memory space of the XMSS object, which is destroyed the moment you close the wallet, browser window or desktop application.

QRL - Quantum Resistant Ledger

  •    Python

Python-based blockchain ledger utilizing hash-based one-time merkle tree signature scheme (XMSS) instead of ECDSA. Proof-of-work block selection via the cryptonight algorithm. Future transition to POS with signed iterative hash chain reveal scheme which is both probabilistic and random (https://github.com/theQRL/pos). Hash-based signatures means larger transactions (3kb per tx, binary), longer keypair generation times and the need to record 'state' of transactions as each keypair can only be used once safely. Merkle tree usage enables a single address to be used for signing numerous transactions (up to 2^13 computationally easily enough). Currently XMSS/W-OTS+ are natively supported with extensible support for further cryptographic schemes inbuilt.

desktop-wallet - :computer: Multi Platform ARK Wallet Lite Client

  •    Javascript

Since we are working on the next-gen version of the wallet, we won't be reviewing pull requests with new features and bugs (only critical bugs will be reviewed and merged). Our intention is deploying the first beta of the v2 desktop wallet in a few weeks time so we need to be focused on it exclusively. Please do not submit Pull-Requests (PRs) unless they solve an urgent problem.

Semantic-UI - Semantic is a UI component framework based around useful principles from natural language

  •    Javascript

Semantic is a UI framework designed for theming.Semantic allows developers to build beautiful websites fast, with concise HTML, intuitive javascript, and simplified debugging, helping make front-end development a delightful experience. Semantic is responsively designed allowing your website to scale on multiple devices. Semantic is production ready and partnered with frameworks such as React, Angular, Meteor, and Ember, which means you can integrate it with any of these frameworks to organize your UI layer alongside your application logic.

MyCrypto - MyCrypto is an open-source, client-side tool for generating ether wallets, handling ERC-20 tokens, and interacting with the blockchain more easily

  •    TypeScript

*Higher versions should work fine, but may cause inconsistencies. It's suggested you run 8.9.4 using nvm. **npm is NOT supported for package management. MyCrypto uses yarn.lock to ensure sub-dependency versions are pinned, so yarn is required to install node_modules ***Python 3 is not supported, since our dependencies use node-gyp. All of these builds are output to a folder in dist/.

hyperledger - Hyperledger Project is a new Collaborative Project at The Linux Foundation

  •

Hyperledger is an open source collaborative effort created to advance cross-industry blockchain technologies. It is a global collaboration including leaders in finance, banking, Internet of Things, supply chains, manufacturing and Technology. The Linux Foundation hosts Hyperledger under the foundation. Not since the Web itself has a technology promised broader and more fundamental revolution than blockchain technology. A blockchain is a peer-to-peer distributed ledger forged by consensus, combined with a system for “smart contracts” and other assistive technologies. Together these can be used to build a new generation of transactional applications that establishes trust, accountability and transparency at their core, while streamlining business processes and legal constraints. Think of it as an operating system for marketplaces, data-sharing networks, micro-currencies, and decentralized digital communities. It has the potential to vastly reduce the cost and complexity of getting things done in the real world. Only an Open Source, collaborative software development approach can ensure the transparency, longevity, interoperability and support required to bring blockchain technologies forward to mainstream commercial adoption. That is what Hyperledger is about – communities of software developers building blockchain frameworks and platforms.

car-lease-demo - A demonstration using IBM Blockchain to show how the lifecycle of vehicles can be recorded on a blockchain

  •    Javascript

This demonstration is now deprecated and cannot be deployed automatically. The demonstration was created for the Blockchain Starter Plan service which uses Hyperledger Fabric version 0.6.1. The Starter Plan service is in the process of being retired. An announcement is available about the Starter Plan retirement. The demonstration allows a view of the ledger that stores all the interactions that the above participants have has with their assets. The ledger view shows the regulator every transaction that has occurred showing who tried to to what at what time and to which vehicle. The ledger view also allows the user to see transactions that they were involved with as well as showing the interactions with the assets they own before they owned them e.g. they can see when it was created.

Rippled - Decentralized cryptocurrency blockchain daemon implementing the XRP Ledger in C++

  •    C++

Ripple is a network of computers which use the Ripple consensus algorithm to atomically settle and record transactions on a secure distributed database, the Ripple Consensus Ledger (RCL). Because of its distributed nature, the RCL offers transaction immutability without a central operator. The RCL contains a built-in currency exchange and its path-finding algorithm finds competitive exchange rates across order books and currency pairs.

Openchain - Distributed Ledger

  •    CSharp

Openchain is an open source distributed ledger technology. It is suited for organizations wishing to issue and manage digital assets in a robust, secure and scalable way. The administrator of an Openchain instance defines the rules of the ledger. End-users can exchange value on the ledger according to those rules. Every transaction on the ledger is digitally signed, like with Bitcoin.

The UTXO-based blockchain system (e.g. Bitcoin) and account-based blockchain system (e.g. Ethereum ) opened the door of a brand-new world for us. Despite facing some drawbacks along the way, the impressive success of Bitcoin and Ethereum has certainly proven the value of the blockchain technology and its massive potential in the future. Since 2015, there has been quite a few highly-promising distributed ledger systems which are not block-based blockchain technology turned up, such as DAG (Directed Acyclic Graph). With no doubt, a decentralized digital world is dawning and Bitcoin or Ethereum has the potential to become the fundamental currency in block-based blockchain system. IOTA or Byteball, on the other hand may fulfil a similar role in a system based upon DAG. Although all blockchain issued tokens can be traded on some exchange platform, they can only circulate within their own blockchain systems. We want to create a new decentralized platform, which will be the connecting point of the major blockchain systems, regardless the block-based or blockless-based blockchain system, hence allowing value and information circulate smoothly within different blockchain system. We call it “HyperCash” or Hcash in short. The Hcash is being developed by cryptography labs in one of the China’s most prestigious university as well as other famous universities in Australia. We will periodically update you with the progress on this over time, and we expected the first hardfork upgrade will happen soon at early Sept 2017. Thanks for your attention and stay tuned for the further update from Hcash dev team.

Waves - Blockchain platform

  •    Scala

Waves is an open-source blockchain platform, that allows users to launch their own custom cryptocurrency tokens. Whilst popular cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum can be traded on external exchanges, and Ethereum allows users to create new tokens on the platform using a smart contract, Waves includes this functionality in its core software and wallet. Users can create, transfer and exchange blockchain tokens on a peer-to-peer basis, paying transaction fees in the native WAVES token.
