These are for demonstration purposes only. There are many implementations of sorts in the Python standard library that are much better for performance reasons. From Wikipedia: Bubble sort, sometimes referred to as sinking sort, is a simple sorting algorithm that repeatedly steps through the list to be sorted, compares each pair of adjacent items and swaps them if they are in the wrong order. The pass through the list is repeated until no swaps are needed, which indicates that the list is sorted.

Knapsack - Collection pipeline library for PHP

Knapsack is a collection library for PHP >= 5.6 that implements most of the sequence operations proposed by Clojures sequences plus some additional ones. All its features are available as functions (for functional programming) and as a collection pipeline object methods. The heart of Knapsack is its Collection class. However its every method calls a simple function with the same name that does the actual heavy lifting. These are located in DusanKasan\Knapsack namespace and you can find them here. Collection is a Traversable implementor (via IteratorAggregate) that accepts Traversable object, array or even a callable that produces a Traversable object or array as constructor argument. It provides most of Clojures sequence functionality plus some extra features. It is also immutable - operations preformed on the collection will return new collection (or value) instead of modifying the original collection.

We believe Sparsepp provides an unparalleled combination of performance and memory usage, and will outperform your compiler's unordered_map on both counts. Only Google's dense_hash_map is consistently faster, at the cost of much greater memory usage (especially when the final size of the map is not known in advance, and insertions cause a resizing). This hash map. like Google's dense_hash_map, uses open addressing (meaning that the hash table entries are conceptually stored in a big array, and collisions are not resolved using a linked list, but by probing). A big drawback of open addressing is that when the array needs to be resized larger, the high mark for memory usage is typically 3 times the current map size (as we allocate a new array twice as big as the current one, and copy from the old array to the new one). Sparsepp's implementation resolves this memory usage issue, and the memory usage high mark shows only a small bump when resizing.

When I was first learning array methods, I spent a lot of time digging through the docs to find the appropriate one, and I had to search one by one. I made this resource to help people find the correct array method a bit more naturally. You can narrow down what you want to do and explore until you find what's most useful to you. I realize that there are about a million ways that this resource can be set up, and some of the taxonomy is necessarily opionionated. I tried to focus on what I thought would have helped me learn the best, rather than industry standard delineations (mutator, accessor, iteration, for example). There are a lot of resources that already divide the methods this way, so if that style of learning suits you better, that's great! This resource is not set up that way. Please keep in mind that this is not meant to be as comprehensive or a replacement for full documentation, which is why the MDN docs are linked to in each method.

BTree - Fast sorted collections for Swift using in-memory B-trees

This project provides an efficient in-memory B-tree implementation in pure Swift, and several useful sorted collection types that use B-trees for their underlying storage. Map<Key, Value> implements a sorted mapping from unique comparable keys to arbitrary values. It is like Dictionary in the standard library, but it does not require keys to be hashable, it has strong guarantees on worst-case performance, and it maintains its elements in a well-defined order.

c-style - My favorite C programming practices.

These are my favorite C programming practices. Some rules are as trivial as style, while others are more intricate. I follow a few rules religiously, and others I use as a guideline. I prioritize correctness, readability, simplicity and maintainability over speed because premature optimization is the root of all evil. Write correct, readable, simple and maintainable software, and tune it when you're done, with benchmarks to identify the choke points. Also, modern compilers will change computational complexities. Simplicity can often lead you to the best solution anyway: it's easier to write a linked list than it is to get an array to grow, but it's harder to index a list than it is to index an array.

The idea is that you use it as a bit array, you can also use it as a byte array of "any" type (until it reaaches max word size which for me is 53 bits) So yeah you could convert bytes back and forth bases, Also since it's based in Uint8Array, It's typed, therefore it won't change length as easily. You will have to concantenate it, it also has "useful" comments of why some thnigs exists, It's nice.
