A dependency manager for .NET with support for NuGet packages and git repositories.NuGet does not separate out the concept of transitive dependencies. If you install a package into your project and that package has further dependencies then all transitive packages are included in the packages.config. There is no way to tell which packages are only transitive dependencies.

cmake-examples - Useful CMake Examples

CMake is a cross-platform open-source meta-build system which can build, test and package software. It can be used to support multiple native build environments including make, Apple’s xcode and Microsoft Visual Studio. This repository includes some example modern CMake configurations which I have picked up when exploring it’s usage for various projects. The examples are laid out in a tutorial like format. The first examples are very basic and slowly increase in complexity drawing on previous examples to show more complex use cases.

cmake-ide - Use Emacs as a C/C++ IDE

cmake-ide will set variables and call functions for the installed dependent packages. It works by running CMake in Emacs in order to obtain the necessary compiler flags to pass to the other tools. Since all the dependencies are specified in the CMake scripts, there is no need to maintain a parallel dependency tracking system for Emacs. Just ask CMake.

For Base packages, check if the package you seek is listed in the built-in package manager on github, or check METADATA for registered Julia packages, then use the built-in package manager to install it after checking the requirements for respective versions. Pkg3.jl is an alpha next-generation package manager for Julia that creates a Manifest.toml file that records the exact versions of each dependency and their transitive dependencies.

Glitter compiles and statically links every required library, so you can jump right into doing what you probably want: how to get started with OpenGL. Glitter has a single dependency: cmake, which is used to generate platform-specific makefiles or project files. Start by cloning this repository, making sure to pass the --recursive flag to grab all the dependencies. If you forgot, then you can git submodule update --init instead.

goop - A simple dependency manager for Go (golang), inspired by Bundler.

A dependency manager for Go (golang), inspired by Bundler. It is different from other dependency managers in that it does not force you to mess with your GOPATH. Run goop install. This will install packages inside a subdirectory called .vendor and create Goopfile.lock, recording exact versions used for each package and its dependencies. Subsequent goop install runs will ignore Goopfile and install the versions specified in Goopfile.lock. You should check this file in to your source version control. It's a good idea to add .vendor to your version control system's ignore settings (e.g. .gitignore).

Glide - Package Management for Golang

Manage your vendor and vendored packages with ease. Glide is a tool for managing the vendor directory within a Go package. This feature, first introduced in Go 1.5, allows each package to have a vendor directory containing dependent packages for the project. These vendor packages can be installed by a tool (e.g. glide), similar to go get or they can be vendored and distributed with the package.
