oio-sds - OpenIO Software Defined Storage

  •    C

OpenIO SDS is a software solution for object storage, targeting very large-scale unstructured data volumes. Please refer to BUILD.md for detailed information about how to compile and configure the solution.

daos - DAOS Storage Engine

  •    C

The Distributed Asynchronous Object Storage (DAOS) is an open-source software-defined object store designed from the ground up for massively distributed Non Volatile Memory (NVM). DAOS takes advantage of next generation NVM technology like Storage Class Memory (SCM) and NVM express (NVMe) while presenting a key-value storage interface and providing features such as transactional non-blocking I/O, advanced data protection with self-healing on top of commodity hardware, end-to-end data integrity, fine-grained data control and elastic storage to optimize performance and cost. DAOS is licensed under the BSD-2-Clause Plus Patent License. Please see the LICENSE & NOTICE files for more information.

Wiki.js - The most powerful and extensible open source Wiki software

  •    Javascript

Wiki.js is the most powerful and extensible open source Wiki software. It works on virtually any platform and is compatible with either PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MS SQL Server or SQLite. It can manage all aspects of your wiki using the extensive and intuitive admin area. You can keep wiki public, completely private or a mix of both.

markdoc - A lightweight Markdown-based wiki system. Current status: abandoned.

  •    Python

Markdoc is a lightweight Markdown-based wiki system. It’s been designed to allow you to create and manage wikis as quickly and easily as possible. Technical Documentation/Manuals Markdoc can be used to write and render hand-written guides and manuals for software. Such documentation will normally be separate from automatically-generated API documentation, and might give a higher-level view than API docs alone. It might be used for client documentation for web/desktop applications, or even developer documentation for frameworks.

opensds - Hotpot: OpenSDS Controller Project

  •    Go

The OpenSDS Project is a collaborative project under Linux Foundation supported by storage users and vendors, including Dell EMC, Intel, Huawei, Fujitsu, Western Digital, Vodafone, NTT and Oregon State University. The project will also seek to collaborate with other upstream open source communities such as Cloud Native Computing Foundation, Docker, OpenStack, and Open Container Initiative. The OpenSDS community welcomes anyone who is interested in software defined storage and shaping the future of cloud-era storage. If you are a company, you should consider joining the OpenSDS Project. If you are a developer and would like to be part of the code development that is happening now, please refer to the Contributing sections below.

cache2k – High Performance Java Caching

  •    Java

cache2k focuses on providing a well engineered in-memory object cache implementation for Java applications.

docs - MinIO Object Storage Documentation

  •    Python

Artifacts output to the build/ directory as HTML. Just open index.html to get started poking around. Still need to work out deployment steps, but this should work for testing locally.

Sheepdog - Distributed Storage System for QEMU

  •    C

Sheepdog is a distributed object storage system for volume and container services and manages the disks and nodes intelligently. Sheepdog features ease of use, simplicity of code and can scale out to thousands of nodes. The block level volume abstraction can be attached to QEMU virtual machines and Linux SCSI Target and supports advanced volume management features such as snapshot, cloning, and thin provisioning.

Gluster Filesystem - Scalable Network Filesystem

  •    C

Gluster is a software defined distributed storage that can scale to several petabytes. It provides interfaces for object, block and file storage. It is a distributed scale-out filesystem that allows rapid provisioning of additional storage based on your storage consumption needs. It incorporates automatic failover as a primary feature.

utahfs - UtahFS is an encrypted storage system that provides a user-friendly FUSE drive backed by cloud storage

  •    Go

UtahFS is a state-of-the art encrypted storage solution, meant to be similar to Dropbox. It has a FUSE binding that creates a synthetic drive on the user's computer that they can interact with like an external hard-drive. Files stored in the drive are uploaded to a cloud storage provider, which means the drive will never run out of space and minimizes the likelihood of any files being lost. However the files are encrypted such that the cloud storage provider knows almost nothing about what's being stored. Setup documentation can be found in the docs/ folder.

Minio - Open source object storage server compatible with Amazon S3 APIs

  •    Go

Minio is an object storage server, It is compatible with Amazon S3 cloud storage service. It is best suited for storing unstructured data such as photos, videos, log files, backups and container / VM images. Size of an object can range from a few KBs to a maximum of 5TB. Minio server is light enough to be bundled with the application stack, similar to NodeJS, Redis and MySQL.

catalog - Create living style guides using Markdown or React

  •    Javascript

Catalog lets you create beautiful living and fully interactive style guides using Markdown and React components. Please read the Catalog documentation (built with Catalog!) for detailed installation and usage instructions.

selling-partner-api-docs - This repository contains documentation for developers to use to call Selling Partner APIs

  •

This repository contains documentation for developers to use when building applications that call the Selling Partner APIs. The documentation includes API references, use case guides, and additional guides and documents. Please see the Selling Partner API Developer Guide for instructions to get started.

S3 - Node.js implementation of a server handling the Amazon S3 protocol

  •    Javascript

CloudServer (formerly S3 Server) is an open-source Amazon S3-compatible object storage server that is part of Zenko, Scality’s Open Source Multi-Cloud Data Controller.CloudServer provides a single AWS S3 API interface to access multiple backend data storage both on-premise or public in the cloud.

drbd - LINBIT DRBD kernel module

  •    C

This repository contains the Linux kernel code for DRBD9. DRBD, developed by LINBIT, is a software that allows RAID 1 functionality over TCP/IP and RDMA for GNU/Linux. DRBD is a block device which is designed to build high availability clusters and software defined storage by providing a virtual shared device which keeps disks in nodes synchronised using TCP/IP or RDMA. This simulates RAID 1 but avoids the use of uncommon hardware (shared SCSI buses or Fibre Channel).

docs - Parse Platform docs

  •    CSS

These are the markdown sources for all of the Parse SDK guides. The content for the guides is stored in this repo, and we use Jekyll to generate a static site that is hosted on GitHub Pages. The guides are organized by platform. Each platform directory contains a set of markdown files, one for each main section in the guide.

guides - Documentation guides and tutorials for Clojure. Various authors.

  •    HTML

An assorted collection of tutorials, guides, and other documentation (by various authors) for the Clojure programming language and its ecosystem. Read the guides online. The goal is to produce quality technical documentation with limited duplication between guides, and eventually have these documents hosted at doc.clojure.org.

cloudserver - Zenko CloudServer, an open-source Node

  •    Javascript

CloudServer (formerly S3 Server) is an open-source Amazon S3-compatible object storage server that is part of Zenko, Scality’s Open Source Multi-Cloud Data Controller. CloudServer provides a single AWS S3 API interface to access multiple backend data storage both on-premise or public in the cloud.
