oboe.js - A streaming approach to JSON.

  •    Javascript

Oboe.js is an open source Javascript library for loading JSON using streaming, combining the convenience of DOM with the speed and fluidity of SAX. It can parse any JSON as a stream, is small enough to be a micro-library, doesn't have dependencies, and doesn't care which other libraries you need it to speak to.

Hpricot - HTML parser for Ruby

  •    C

Hpricot is a fast, flexible HTML parser. Hpricot can be handy for reading broken XML files, since many of the same techniques can be used. If a quote is missing, Hpricot tries to figure it out. If tags overlap, Hpricot works on sorting them out.

ResumeParser - Resume Parser using rule based approach. Developed using framework provided by GATE

  •    HTML

Parser that extracts information from any resume and converts into a structured .json format to be used by internal systems. The parser uses a rule-based approach that focuses on semantic rather than syntactic parsing. The parser can handle document types in .pdf, .txt, .doc and .docx (Microsoft word). In its current form, this application is a console based application. Parse uses the Engligh grammar engine provided by GATE through its ANNIE framework. The output is then transduced using the grammar rules and lists specifically written for resume parsing. The JAPE grammar defines a generic set of rules that complies with popular ways of resume writing. It takes Proper nouns from lists and applies them to rules to identify entities. Explore the source code and read about GATE for more details. Also, feel free to pose questions.

TagSoup - HTML/XML parser for Haskell

  •    Haskell

TagSoup is a library for parsing HTML/XML. It supports the HTML 5 specification, and can be used to parse either well-formed XML, or unstructured and malformed HTML from the web. The library also provides useful functions to extract information from an HTML document, making it ideal for screen-scraping.

Jackson - Best JSON parser for Java

  •    Java

Jackson is one of best JSON parser for Java. More than that, Jackson is a suite of data-processing tools for Java (and the JVM platform), including the flagship streaming JSON parser / generator library, matching data-binding library (POJOs to and from JSON) and additional data format modules to process data encoded in Avro, BSON, CBOR, CSV, Smile, (Java) Properties, Protobuf, XML or YAML; and even the large set of data format modules to support data types of widely used data types such as Guava, Joda, PCollections and many, many more.

Jackson JSON - JSON Parser in Java

  •    Java

Jackson is a multi-purpose Java library for processing JSON data format. This project contains core low-level incremental ("streaming") parser and generator abstractions used by Jackson Data Processor. It also includes the default implementation of handler types (parser, generator) that handle JSON format.

yacy_grid_parser - Parser Microservice for the YaCy Grid

  •    Java

The Parser is a microservices which can be deployed i.e. using Docker. When the Parser Component is started, it searches for a MCP and connects to it. By default the local host is searched for a MCP but you can configure one yourself. The Parser is able to read a WARC file and parses it's content. The content is analyzed, the plain text, links, images and more entities are extracted. The result is stored in a JSON Object. Calling the parser will generate a list of JSON Objects, each containing the analyzed content of one internet resource. The parser understands not only HTML but also a wide range of different document formats, including PDF, all OpenOffice and MS Office document formats and much more.

AngleSharp - The ultimate angle brackets parser library parsing HTML5, MathML, SVG and CSS to construct a DOM based on the official W3C specifications

  •    CSharp

AngleSharp is a .NET library that gives you the ability to parse angle bracket based hyper-texts like HTML, SVG, and MathML. XML without validation is also supported by the library. An important aspect of AngleSharp is that CSS can also be parsed. The included parser is built upon the official W3C specification. This produces a perfectly portable HTML5 DOM representation of the given source code and ensures compatibility with results in evergreen browsers. Also standard DOM features such as querySelector or querySelectorAll work for tree traversal.
