Shreddit - Remove your comment history on Reddit as deleting an account does not do so.

  •    Python

Shreddit is a Python command line program which will take a user's post history on the website Reddit, and will systematically go through the user's history deleting one post/submission at a time until only those whitelisted remain. It allows you to maintain your normal reddit account while having your history scrubbed after a certain amount of time. When it became known that post edits were not saved but post deletions were saved, code was added to edit your post prior to deletion. In fact you can actually turn off deletion all together and just have lorem ipsum (or a message about Shreddit) but this will increase how long it takes the script to run as it will be going over all of your messages every run.

programming-language-subreddits-and-their-choice-of-words - How do the different communities talk?

  •    Python

While reading about various programming languages, I developed a hunch about how often different languages are mentioned by other communities and about the average conversational tones used by relative members. To examine if it was just selective perception on my site, an unconscious confirmation of stereotypes, or a valid observation I collected and analysed some data, i.e. all comments (about 300k) written to submissions (about 40k) in respective programming language subreddits from 2013-08 to 2014-07 using PRAW and SQLite.

rlua - High level Lua bindings to Rust

  •    C

This library is a high level interface between Rust and Lua. Its goal is to be an easy to use, practical, flexible, and safe API between Rust and Lua. rlua is NOT designed to be a perfect zero cost wrapper over the Lua C API, because such a wrapper cannot maintain the safety guarantees that rlua is designed to have. Every place where the Lua C API may trigger an error longjmp in any way is protected by lua_pcall, and the user of the library is protected from directly interacting with unsafe things like the Lua stack, and there is overhead associated with this safety. However, performance is a focus of the library to the extent possible while maintaining safety, so if you encounter something that is egregiously worse than using the Lua C API directly, or simply something you feel could perform better, feel free to file a bug report.

jQuery.PrettyTextDiff - A wrapper around Google's diff_match_patch library, to make life easy

  •    CoffeeScript

A wrapper around Google's diff_match_patch library. Google's library is awesome and can be fine-tuned in multiple ways, but their API is a bit awkward, probably cause they support the same API in 8 different languages. Also, the library does not provide any beautification of the diff-ed output. They provide a reference implementation (look for diff_prettyHtml in the API docs ) but recommend developers to write their own - and the given method is not customizable .
