emitter - High performance, distributed and low latency publish-subscribe platform.

  •    Go

Emitter is a free open source real-time messaging service that connects all devices. This publish-subscribe messaging API is built for speed and security. Emitter is a real-time communication service for connecting online devices. Infrastructure and APIs for IoT, gaming, apps and real-time web. At its core, emitter.io is a distributed, scalable and fault-tolerant publish-subscribe messaging platform based on MQTT protocol and featuring message storage.

  •    Javascript

MQTT.js is a client library for the MQTT protocol, written in JavaScript for node.js and the browser.MQTT.js is an OPEN Open Source Project, see the Contributing section to find out what this means.

Adafruit_MQTT_Library - Arduino library for MQTT support

  •    C++

Arduino library for MQTT support, including access to Adafruit IO. Works with the Adafruit FONA, Arduino Yun, ESP8266 Arduino platforms, and anything that supports Arduino's Client interface (like Ethernet shield). See included examples for how to use the library to access an MQTT service to publish and subscribe to feeds. Note that this does not support the full MQTT spec but is intended to support enough for QoS 0 and 1 publishing.

paho.mqtt.python - paho.mqtt.python

  •    Python

This document describes the source code for the Eclipse Paho MQTT Python client library, which implements versions 3.1 and 3.1.1 of the MQTT protocol.This code provides a client class which enable applications to connect to an MQTT broker to publish messages, and to subscribe to topics and receive published messages. It also provides some helper functions to make publishing one off messages to an MQTT server very straightforward.

awesome-mqtt - A curated list of MQTT related stuff. :sparkles:

  •

A curated list of MQTT related stuff. MQTT is a lightweight client-server publish/subscribe messaging protocol, optimized for high-latency or unreliable networks. This protocol is a good choice for Internet of Things applications, Telemetry, Sensor Networks, Smart Metering, Home Automation, Messaging and Notification Services.

convention - 🏡 The Homie Convention: a lightweight MQTT convention for the IoT

  •

The Homie convention strives to be a communication definition on top of MQTT between IoT devices and controlling entities. MQTT is a machine-to-machine (M2M)/"Internet of Things" connectivity protocol. It was designed as an extremely lightweight publish/subscribe messaging transport.

Mosquitto - An Open Source MQTT v3.1 Broker

  •    C

Mosquitto is an open source message broker that implements the MQ Telemetry Transport protocol version 3.1. MQTT provides a lightweight method of carrying out messaging using a publish/subscribe model. This makes it suitable for machine to machine messaging such as with low power sensors or mobile devices such as phones, embedded computers or microcontrollers like the Arduino.

Paho - Open Source Implementation of Machine?to?Machine (M2M) protocol

  •    Java

The Paho project has been created to provide scalable open-source implementations of open and standard messaging protocols aimed at new, exisiting, and emerging applications for Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT). Paho initially started with MQTT publish/subscribe client implementations for use on embedded platforms.

Apache Apollo - ActiveMQ's next generation of messaging

  •    Java

ActiveMQ Apollo is a faster, more reliable, easier to maintain messaging broker built from the foundations of the original ActiveMQ. It accomplishes this using a radically different threading and message dispatching architecture. Like ActiveMQ, Apollo is a multi-protocol broker and supports STOMP, AMQP, MQTT, Openwire, SSL, and WebSockets.

pubsubclient - A client library for the Arduino Ethernet Shield that provides support for MQTT.

  •    C++

This library provides a client for doing simple publish/subscribe messaging with a server that supports MQTT. The library comes with a number of example sketches. See File > Examples > PubSubClient within the Arduino application.

fossa - Async non-blocking multi-protocol networking library for C/C++

  •    C

Fossa is a multi-protocol networking library written in C. It provides easy to use event-driven interface that allows to implement network protocols or scalable network applications with little effort. Fossa helps developers to manage the complexity of network programming and let them concentrate on the logic, saving time and money. Fossa has built-in support for several protocols, like HTTP, Websocket, MQTT, mDNS. Example applications include Websocket-based chat server, JSON-RPC server, database server with RESTful API, MQTT broker, netcat with SSL and hexdump, Raspberry PI camera video feed + led control, and more.

redux-promise-middleware - Enables simple, yet robust handling of async action creators in Redux

  •    Javascript

Redux Promise Middleware enables simple, yet robust handling of async action creators in Redux. Given a single action with an async payload, the middleware transforms the action to a separate a pending action and a separate fulfilled/rejected action, representing the states of the async action.

redux-pack - Sensible promise handling and middleware for redux

  •    Javascript

redux-pack is a library that introduces promise-based middleware that allows async actions based on the lifecycle of a promise to be declarative. Async actions in redux are often done using redux-thunk or other middlewares. The problem with this approach is that it makes it too easy to use dispatch sequentially, and dispatch multiple "actions" as the result of the same interaction/event, where they probably should have just been a single action dispatch.

emittery - Simple and modern async event emitter

  •    Javascript

It's only ~200 bytes minified and gzipped. I'm not fanatic about keeping the size at this level though.Emitting events asynchronously is important for production code where you want the least amount of synchronous operations.
