zsh-async - Because your terminal should be able to perform tasks asynchronously without external tools!

  •    Shell

With zsh-async you can run multiple asynchronous jobs, enforce unique jobs (multiple instances of the same job will not run), flush all currently running jobs and create multiple workers (each with their own jobs). For each worker you can register a callback-function through which you will be notified about the job results (job name, return code, output and execution time). zsh-async is a small library for running asynchronous tasks in zsh without requiring any external tools. It utilizes zsh/zpty to launch a pseudo-terminal in which all commands get executed without blocking any other processes. Checking for completed tasks can be done manually, by polling, or better yet, automatically whenever a process has finished executing by notifying through a SIGWINCH kill-signal.

AppAuth-Android - Android client SDK for communicating with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect providers.

  •    Java

AppAuth for Android is a client SDK for communicating with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect providers. It strives to directly map the requests and responses of those specifications, while following the idiomatic style of the implementation language. In addition to mapping the raw protocol flows, convenience methods are available to assist with common tasks like performing an action with fresh tokens. The library follows the best practices set out in RFC 8252 - OAuth 2.0 for Native Apps, including using Custom Tabs for authorization requests. For this reason, WebView is explicitly not supported due to usability and security reasons.

fosite - Extensible security first OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect SDK for Go.

  •    Go

The security first OAuth2 & OpenID Connect framework for Go. Built simple, powerful and extensible. This library implements peer-reviewed IETF RFC6749, counterfeits weaknesses covered in peer-reviewed IETF RFC6819 and countermeasures various database attack scenarios, keeping your application safe when that hacker penetrates or leaks your database. OpenID Connect is implemented according to OpenID Connect Core 1.0 incorporating errata set 1 and includes all flows: code, implicit, hybrid.OAuth2 and OpenID Connect are difficult protocols. If you want quick wins, we strongly encourage you to look at Hydra. Hydra is a secure, high performance, cloud native OAuth2 and OpenID Connect service that integrates with every authentication method imaginable and is built on top of Fosite.

cpp_redis - C++11 Lightweight Redis client: async, thread-safe, no dependency, pipelining, multi-platform

  •    C++

cpp_redis is a C++11 Asynchronous Multi-Platform Lightweight Redis Client, with support for synchronous operations and pipelining.cpp_redis has no dependency. Its only requirement is C++11.

restinio - A header-only C++14 library that gives you an embedded HTTP/Websocket server

  •    C++

RESTinio is a header-only C++14 library that gives you an embedded HTTP/Websocket server. It is based on standalone version of ASIO and targeted primarily for asynchronous processing of HTTP-requests. Since v.0.4.1 Boost::ASIO (1.66 or higher) is also supported (see notes on building with Boost::ASIO). Server runs on the main thread, and respond to all requests with hello-world message. Of course you've got an access to the structure of a given HTTP request, so you can apply a complex logic for handling requests.

restbed - Corvusoft's Restbed framework brings asynchronous RESTful functionality to C++11 applications

  •    C++

Restbed is a comprehensive and consistent programming model for building applications that require seamless and secure communication over HTTP, with the ability to model a range of business processes, designed to target mobile, tablet, desktop and embedded production environments. More in-depth examples can be found here. To see Restbed used in anger, please visit Corvusoft's RestQ project.

AppAuth-iOS - iOS and macOS SDK for communicating with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect providers.

  •    Objective-C

AppAuth for iOS and macOS is a client SDK for communicating with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect providers. It strives to directly map the requests and responses of those specifications, while following the idiomatic style of the implementation language. In addition to mapping the raw protocol flows, convenience methods are available to assist with common tasks like performing an action with fresh tokens. It follows the best practices set out in RFC 8252 - OAuth 2.0 for Native Apps including using SFAuthenticationSession and SFSafariViewController on iOS for the auth request. UIWebView and WKWebView are explicitly not supported due to the security and usability reasons explained in Section 8.12 of RFC 8252.

Async Task Framework

  •    DotNet

The Async Tasks framework provides a light weight easy to use asynchronous framework, which allows for asynchronous execution of tasks and provides notification of different events throughout the life-cycle of the task. The framework is developed in C# and .NET 4.

AMQP-CPP - C++ library for asynchronous non-blocking communication with RabbitMQ

  •    C++

AMQP-CPP is a C++ library for communicating with a RabbitMQ message broker. The library can be used to parse incoming data from a RabbitMQ server, and to generate frames that can be sent to a RabbitMQ server. This library has a layered architecture, and allows you - if you like - to completely take care of the network layer. If you want to set up and manage the network connections yourself, the AMQP-CPP library will not make a connection to RabbitMQ by itself, nor will it create sockets and/or perform IO operations. As a user of this library, you create the socket connection and implement a certain interface that you pass to the AMQP-CPP library and that the library will use for IO operations.

ponder - C++ reflection library

  •    C++

V1 replaced Boost with C++11. V2 added Lua bindings. V3 refactored to remove some warts, ease future development, and re-add serialisation. API is evolving. Ponder is a C++ multi-purpose reflection library. It provides an abstraction for most of the high-level concepts of C++: classes, enumerations, functions, properties.

rang - A Minimal, Header only Modern c++ library for terminal goodies 💄✨

  •    C++

rang only depends on C++ standard library, unistd.h system header on unix and windows.h & io.h system headers on windows based systems. In other words, you don't need any 3rd party dependencies. rang is a single header-only library. Put rang.hpp in the include folder directly into the project source tree or somewhere reachable from your project.

PHP-CPP - Library to build PHP extensions with C++

  •    C++

The PHP-CPP library is a C++ library for developing PHP extensions. It offers a collection of well documented and easy-to-use classes that can be used and extended to build native extensions for PHP. The full documentation can be found on http://www.php-cpp.com. Watch out: PHP 7 only! This library has been updated to work with PHP versions 7.0 and up. If you wish to create extensions for older PHP versions, use the PHP-CPP-LEGACY library instead. The PHP-CPP and PHP-CPP-LEGACY library have (almost) identical API's, so you can easily port extensions for PHP 5.* to PHP 7 and the other way around.

hana - Your standard library for metaprogramming

  •    C++

You can browse the documentation online at http://boostorg.github.io/hana. The documentation covers everything you should need including installing the library, a tutorial explaining what Hana is and how to use it, and an extensive reference section with examples. The remainder of this README is mostly for people that wish to work on the library itself, not for its users. After issuing this, doc/html will contain exactly the same static website that is available online. Note that doc/html is automatically ignored by Git so updating the documentation won't pollute your index.

oauthlib - A generic, spec-compliant, thorough implementation of the OAuth request-signing logic

  •    Python

OAuthLib is a generic utility which implements the logic of OAuth without assuming a specific HTTP request object or web framework. Use it to graft OAuth client support onto your favorite HTTP library, or provide support onto your favourite web framework. If you're a maintainer of such a library, write a thin veneer on top of OAuthLib and get OAuth support for very little effort.Then you might be more interested in using requests which has OAuthLib powered OAuth support provided by the requests-oauthlib library.

osin - Golang OAuth2 server library
