commonjs-everywhere - :rainbow: minimal CommonJS browser bundler with aliasing, extensibility, and source maps

  •        25

CommonJS (node module) browser bundler with source maps from the minified JS bundle to the original source, aliasing for browser overrides, and extensibility for arbitrary compile-to-JS language support. Watch entry file, its dependencies, and even newly added dependencies. Notice that only the files that need to be rebuilt are accessed when one of the watched dependencies are touched. This is a much more efficient approach than simply rebuilding everything.

modules-webmake - Bundle CommonJS/Node.js modules for web browser

  •    Javascript

Bundle CommonJS/Node.js modules for web browsers. Webmake allows you to organize JavaScript code for the browser the same way as you do for Node.js.

Webpack - A bundler for javascript and friends

  •    Javascript

Webpack is a module bundler. Its main purpose is to bundle JavaScript files for usage in a browser, yet it is also capable of transforming, bundling, or packaging just about any resource or asset.

browserify-shim - 📩 Makes CommonJS incompatible files browserifyable.

  •    Javascript

For a version compatible with browserify@1.x run npm install browserify-shim@1.x instead. For a version compatible with the v2 API npm install browserify-shim@2.x instead.

dependo - Visualize your CommonJS or AMD module dependencies in a force directed graph report.

  •    HTML

Visualize your CommonJS, AMD, or ES6 module dependencies in a force directed graph report - powered by D3.js. Let me introduce dependo - A small visualization tool that draws an force directed graph of JavaScript dependencies pulled from a codebase of CommonJS, AMD, or ES6. Behind the scene I’m using a wonderful library named node-madge, to extract the dependencies and combined with the power of D3.js I draw a beautiful zoomable directed graph.

rollup-plugin-commonjs - Convert CommonJS modules to ES2015

  •    Javascript

Typically, you would use this plugin alongside rollup-plugin-node-resolve, so that you could bundle your CommonJS dependencies in node_modules.This plugin will attempt to create named exports, where appropriate, so you can do this...

minipack - 📦 A simplified example of a modern module bundler written in JavaScript

  •    Javascript

As front-end developers, we spend a lot of time working with tools like Webpack, Browserify, and Parcel. Understanding how those tools work can help us make better decisions on how we write our code. By understanding how our code turns into a bundle and how that bundle looks like we can also debug it better.

madge - Create graphs from your CommonJS, AMD or ES6 module dependencies

  •    Javascript

Madge is a developer tool for generating a visual graph of your module dependencies, finding circular dependencies, and give you other useful info. Joel Kemp's awesome dependency-tree is used for extracting the dependency tree. Read the changelog for latest changes.

rollupify - Browserify transform to apply Rollup

  •    Javascript

Browserify transform to apply Rollup, converting ES6/ES2015 modules into one big CommonJS module. This tends to result in smaller bundle sizes, due to Rollup's tree-shaking and scope-hoisting capabilities.

  •    Rust

The fastest JavaScript bundler in the galaxy. Fully supports ECMAScript module syntax (import/export) in addition to CommonJS require(<string>). Because your bundler is too slow.

splittable - Module bundler with support for code splitting, ES6 & CommonJS modules.

  •    Javascript

Requires java for one dependency to run. It is recommended to run splittable from the root directory of your project.

redux-actions - Flux Standard Action utilities for Redux.

  •    Javascript

The npm package provides a CommonJS build for use in Node.js, and with bundlers like Webpack and Browserify. It also includes an ES modules build that works well with Rollup and Webpack2's tree-shaking. The UMD build exports a global called window.ReduxActions if you add it to your page via a <script> tag. We don’t recommend UMD builds for any serious application, as most of the libraries complementary to Redux are only available on npm.

js-cookie - A simple, lightweight JavaScript API for handling browser cookies

  •    Javascript

If you're viewing this at https://github.com/js-cookie/js-cookie, you're reading the documentation for the master branch. View documentation for the latest release. Do not include the script directly from GitHub (http://raw.github.com/...). The file is being served as text/plain and as such being blocked in Internet Explorer on Windows 7 for instance (because of the wrong MIME type). Bottom line: GitHub is not a CDN.

require1k - A minimal, and yet practically useful, CommonJS/Node

  •    Javascript

This project implements a minimal, and yet practically useful, CommonJS/Node.js require module loader for the browser in under 1000 bytes. On start require1k will search for the first <script> tag with a data-main attribute. If found the named module will be resolved against the location of the html file, asynchronously loaded and then executed.

Steal - Universal module loader

  •    Javascript

steal is unique because it can load JavaScript modules defined in ES6, AMD, and CommonJS formats (unlike most other module loaders, which only support one of these formats at a time). In JavaScript, the word "modules" refers to small units of independent, reusable code. They are the foundation of many JavaScript design patterns, and can look like this in ES6.

reqwest - browser asynchronous http requests

  •    Javascript

All over again. Includes support for xmlHttpRequest, JSONP, CORS, and CommonJS Promises A. It is also isomorphic allowing you to require('reqwest') in Node.js through the peer dependency xhr2, albeit the original intent of this library is for the browser.
