Mstdn - Tiny web-based mastodon client for your desktop

  •    TypeScript

Mstdn is a desktop application based on the mobile version of the Mastodon page and the Electron framework. It basically uses Mastodon's mobile page and provides various desktop application features (such as desktop notifications, keybindings, and multi-account support). Mastodon is an open source project. So if you want to make a new UI, you can just fork the project, implement your favorite UI and host it on your place. Then you can participate Mastodon networks from it.

Mastodon - A GNU Social-compatible microblogging server. Alternative to Twitter

  •    Ruby

Mastodon is a free, open-source social network server. A decentralized alternative to commercial platforms, it avoids the risks of a single company monopolizing your communication. Anyone can run Mastodon and participate in the social network seamlessly.

mastodon - Your self-hosted, globally interconnected microblogging community

  •    Ruby

Mastodon is a free, open-source social network server based on open web protocols like ActivityPub and OStatus. The social focus of the project is a viable decentralized alternative to commercial social media silos that returns the control of the content distribution channels to the people. The technical focus of the project is a good user interface, a clean REST API for 3rd party apps and robust anti-abuse tools. Ruby on Rails is used for the back-end, while React.js and Redux are used for the dynamic front-end. A static front-end for public resources (profiles and statuses) is also provided.

GoToSocial - Fediverse server project

  •    Go

GoToSocial is a Fediverse server project, written in Golang. It provides an alternative to existing projects such as Mastodon, Pleroma, Friendica, PixelFed etc. One of the key differences between GoToSocial and those other projects is that GoToSocial doesn't include an integrated front-end (ie., a webapp). Instead, like the Matrix.org's Synapse project, it provides only a server implementation and a well-documented API. On this API, developers are free to build any front-end implementation or mobile application that they wish.

pingme - PingMe is a CLI tool which provides the ability to send messages or alerts to multiple messaging platforms & email

  •    Go

PingMe is a personal project to satisfy my needs of having alerts, most major platforms have integration to send alerts but its not always useful, either you are stuck with one particular platform, or you have to do alot of integrations. I needed a small utility which i can just call from my backup scripts, cron jobs, CI/CD pipelines or from anywhere to send a message with particular information. And i can ship it everywhere with ease. Hence, the birth of PingMe. Everything is configurable via environment variables, and you can simply export the logs or messages to a variable which will be sent as message, and most of all this serves as a swiss army knife sort of tool which supports multiple platforms.

effective-go-zh-en - 《Effective Go》中英双语版

  •

Go is a new language. Although it borrows ideas from existing languages, it has unusual properties that make effective Go programs different in character from programs written in its relatives. A straightforward translation of a C++ or Java program into Go is unlikely to produce a satisfactory result—Java programs are written in Java, not Go. On the other hand, thinking about the problem from a Go perspective could produce a successful but quite different program. In other words, to write Go well, it's important to understand its properties and idioms. It's also important to know the established conventions for programming in Go, such as naming, formatting, program construction, and so on, so that programs you write will be easy for other Go programmers to understand. This document gives tips for writing clear, idiomatic Go code. It augments the language specification, the Tour of Go, and How to Write Go Code, all of which you should read first.

go-mode.el - Emacs mode for the Go programming language

  •    Emacs

This is go-mode, the Emacs mode for editing Go code.It is a complete rewrite of the go-mode that shipped with Go 1.0.3 and before, and was part of Go 1.1 until Go 1.3. Beginning with Go 1.4, editor integration will not be part of the Go distribution anymore, making this repository the canonical place for go-mode.

Go kit - A standard library for microservices.

  •    Go

Go kit is a programming toolkit for building microservices (or elegant monoliths) in Go. We solve common problems in distributed systems and application architecture so you can focus on delivering business value. Go is a great general-purpose language, but microservices require a certain amount of specialized support. RPC safety, system observability, infrastructure integration, even program design — Go kit fills in the gaps left by the standard library, and makes Go a first-class language for writing microservices in any organization.

c-for-go - Automatic C-Go Bindings Generator for Go Programming Language

  •    Go

This project allows to reuse existing C/C++ libraries in your Go applications, by automatically creating c-go bindings for a given set of C headers and the manifest file. We believe in component-based software engineering and think that reusing C/C++ code in Go applications could bring a huge boost to developer's productivity and system's performance. Read more about the motivation: top reasons to use bindings. The only component required to produce a Go package that will wrap the source C/C++ code is the YAML manifest file that defines parsing, translation and generation rules. The manifest can have just a few lines, however in order to match Go's naming conventions and provide enough tips for type conversions it usually contains about 100 lines, which is still better than producing tens of thousands lines of Go code by hand.

go-mruby - Go (golang) bindings to mruby.

  •    Go

At the time of writing, this is the most comprehensive mruby library for Go by far. It is also the only mruby library for Go that enables exposing Go functions to Ruby as well as being able to generically convert complex Ruby types into Go types. Our goal is to implement all of the mruby API.Project Status: The major portions of the mruby API are implemented, but the mruby API is huge. If there is something that is missing, please issue a pull request and I'd be happy to add it! We're also not yet ready to promise API backwards compatibility on a Go-level, but we're getting there.

go-ps - Find, list, and inspect processes from Go (golang).

  •    Go

go-ps is a library for Go that implements OS-specific APIs to list and manipulate processes in a platform-safe way. The library can find and list processes on Linux, Mac OS X, Solaris, and Windows. If you're new to Go, this library has a good amount of advanced Go educational value as well. It uses some advanced features of Go: build tags, accessing DLL methods for Windows, cgo for Darwin, etc.

gocb - The Couchbase Go SDK

  •    Go

This is the official Couchbase Go SDK. If you are looking for our previous unofficial prototype Go client library, please see: http://www.github.com/couchbase/go-couchbase.The Go SDK library allows you to connect to a Couchbase cluster from Go. It is written in pure Go, and uses the included gocbcore library to handle communicating to the cluster over the Couchbase binary protocol.
