node-solid-server - Solid server on top of the file-system in NodeJS

  •    Javascript

solid-server lets you run a Solid server on top of the file-system. You can use it as a command-line tool (easy) or as a library (advanced). You can install and run the server either using Node.js directly or using Docker. This and the following sections describe the first approach, for the second approach see the section use Docker Section below.

solid-spec - The Solid spec and architecture

  •

Solid (derived from "social linked data") is a proposed set of conventions and tools for building decentralized social applications based on Linked Data principles. Solid is modular and extensible. It relies as much as possible on existing W3C standards and protocols. Solid uses WebID URIs as universal usernames or actor identifiers. Frequently referred to simply as WebIDs, these URIs form the basis of most other Solid-related technologies, such as authentication, authorization, access control, user profiles, discovery of user preferences and server capabilities, and more.

BRL-CAD - Solid Modeling System

  •    Java

BRL-CAD is a powerful cross-platform constructive solid geometry solid modeling system that includes an interactive geometry editor, ray-tracing for rendering amp; geometric analyses, network distributed framebuffer support, image & signal-processing tools.

Solid - A minimalist interpreted language, with a clean object model and a tiny VM.

  •    C

Solid is a simple, elegant language with a very user-friendly C API. Yes, that means you can embed it into your application or game with almost no effort. See the GitHub page at http://github.com/chameco/solid for source code.

Solid

  •    C

Solid is a library for collision detection of three-dimensional objects undergoing rigid motion and deformation. Solid is designed to be used in interactive 3D graphics applications using a VRML-like scene graph.

gutentag - A good, simple, solid tagging extension for ActiveRecord.

  •    Ruby

A good, simple, solid tagging extension for ActiveRecord. This was initially built partly as a proof-of-concept, partly to see how a tagging gem could work when it's not all stuffed within models, and partly just because I wanted a simpler tagging library. It's now a solid little tagging Rails engine.

zaver - Yet another fast and efficient HTTP server

  •    C

Yet another fast and efficient HTTP server. The purpose of Zaver is to help developers understand how to write a high performance server based on epoll. Although Nginx is a good learning example, its complexity and huge code base make people discouraged. Zaver uses as few codes as possible to demonstrate the core structure of high performance server like Nginx. Developers can lay a solid foundation by learning Zaver for further study in network programming.

Openfire - A XMPP server licensed under the Open Source Apache License.

  •    Java

Openfire is a real time collaboration (RTC) server licensed under the Open Source Apache License. It uses the only widely adopted open protocol for instant messaging, XMPP (also called Jabber). Openfire is incredibly easy to setup and administer, but offers rock-solid security and performance.Openfire is a XMPP server licensed under the Open Source Apache License.

rest-oauth2-server - Rest OAuth2 Server is a Rails 3 app that let you open up your API and manage end-user authentication and client application authorization implementing the OAuth 2

  •    Ruby

We are sorry to annunce that due to a lack of time rest oauth2 server is now without a mantainer. For this reason we call the **project dead** and we suggest you to use more solid solution such as Doorkeeper or oPRO. Anyway, we still think this project can be helpful to understand how a OAuth2 server works so if interested in that checkout the code and the whole documentation. It was really nice to have such good people collaborating on this project. P.S. If you are interested about becoming the new mantainer of this project write us.

spork - A DRb server for testing frameworks (RSpec / Cucumber currently) that forks before each run to ensure a clean testing state

  •    Ruby

Spork is Tim Harper's implementation of test server (similar to the script/spec_server that used to be provided by rspec-rails), except rather than using the Rails constant unloading to reload your files, it forks a copy of the server each time you run your tests. The result? Spork runs more solid: it doesn't get corrupted over time, it can work with any ruby framework, and it properly handles modules and any voodoo meta programming you may have put in your app. Spork runs on POSIX systems using fork. It also runs on windows by pre-populating a pool of ready processes (referred to here as the “magazine” strategy).

csg.js - Constructive solid geometry on meshes using BSP trees in JavaScript

  •    Javascript

Constructive Solid Geometry (CSG) is a modeling technique that uses Boolean operations like union and intersection to combine 3D solids. This library implements CSG operations on meshes elegantly and concisely using BSP trees, and is meant to serve as an easily understandable implementation of the algorithm. All edge cases involving overlapping coplanar polygons in both solids are correctly handled. Detailed documentation can be automatically generated using Docco.
