awesome-cheatsheets - 📚 Awesome cheatsheets for popular programming languages, frameworks and development tools

  •        39

📚 Awesome cheatsheets for popular programming languages, frameworks and development tools. They include everything you should know in one single file. I usually make a cheatsheet when I want to improve my skills on a programming language, a framework or a development tool. I started doing these kind of things a long time ago on Gist. To better keep track of the history and to let people contribute, I reorganized all of them into this single repository. Most of the content is coming from official documentations and some books I have read.

Swift-CheatSheet - A quick reference cheat sheet for common, high level topics in Swift.

  •

This is not meant to be a beginner's guide or a detailed discussion about Swift; it is meant to be a quick reference to common, high level topics. Note: This was written this fairly quickly, mostly to teach myself Swift, so it still needs a lot of love and there are important sections still missing. Please feel free to edit this document to update or improve upon it, making sure to keep with the general formatting of the document. The list of contributors can be found here.

Fission - Fast Serverless Functions for Kubernetes

  •    Go

Fission is a fast serverless framework for Kubernetes with a focus on developer productivity and high performance.Fission operates on just the code: Docker and Kubernetes are abstracted away under normal operation, though you can use both to extend Fission if you want to.

python-cheatsheet - Basic Cheat Sheet for Python (PDF, Markdown and jupyter Notebook).

  •    Jupyter

Basic cheatsheet for Python mostly based on the book written by Al Sweigart, Automate the Boring Stuff with Python under the Creative Commons license and many other sources. Long time Pythoneer Tim Peters succinctly channels the BDFL's guiding principles for Python's design into 20 aphorisms, only 19 of which have been written down.

tsuru - Open source, extensible and Docker-based Platform as a Service (PaaS).

  •    Go

tsuru is an extensible and open source Platform as a Service (PaaS) that makes application deployments faster and easier. tsuru is an open source polyglot cloud application platform (PaaS). With tsuru, you don’t need to think about servers at all. It keeps your apps running by rebalancing resources and recovering failed units and nodes automatically. It helps to grow your application dynamically allocating resources with ease. It is integrated with EC2, Apache Cloudstack which allows auto provisioning simple, painless and fast.

ownphotos - Self hosted Google Photos clone

  •    Jupyter

Currently the project is in very early stages, so run it only for the sake of checking it out. Ownphotos comes with separate backend and frontend servers. The backend serves the restful API, and the frontend serves, well, the frontend. The easiest way to do it is using Docker.

django-redis-sessions - Session backend for Django that stores sessions in a Redis database

  •    Python

If you prefer domain socket connection, you can just add this line instead of HOST and PORT. Splits sessions between Redis instances based on the session key. You can configure the connection type for each Redis instance in the pool (host/port, unix socket, redis url).

GoBooks - List of Golang books

  •

The Little Go Book is a free introduction to Google's Go programming language. It's aimed at developers who might not be quite comfortable with the idea of pointers and static typing. It's longer than the other Little books, but hopefully still captures that little feeling. This book is a short, concise introduction to computer programming using the language Go. Designed by Google, Go is a general purpose programming language with modern features, clean syntax and a robust well-documented common library, making it an ideal language to learn as your first programming language.

cheat - cheat allows you to create and view interactive cheatsheets on the command-line

  •    Python

cheat allows you to create and view interactive cheatsheets on the command-line. It was designed to help remind *nix system administrators of options for commands that they use frequently, but not frequently enough to remember. To see what cheatsheets are available, run cheat -l.

cheatsheets - RStudio Cheat Sheets

  •

The cheat sheets make it easy to learn about and use some of our favorite packages. They are published in their respective PDF versions here: https://www.rstudio.com/resources/cheatsheets/, some are also available in the RStudio IDE under Help-Cheatsheets. This repository contains the source Apple Keynote files or the current, archived and translated versions.

RustBooks - List of Rust books

  •

Welcome! This book will teach you about the Rust Programming Language. Rust is a systems programming language focused on three goals: safety, speed, and concurrency. It maintains these goals without having a garbage collector, making it a useful language for a number of use cases other languages aren’t good at: embedding in other languages, programs with specific space and time requirements, and writing low-level code, like device drivers and operating systems. It improves on current languages targeting this space by having a number of compile-time safety checks that produce no runtime overhead, while eliminating all data races. Rust also aims to achieve ‘zero-cost abstractions’ even though some of these abstractions feel like those of a high-level language. Even then, Rust still allows precise control like a low-level language would. This is Rust-101, a small tutorial for the Rust language. It is intended to be an interactive, hands-on course: I believe the only way to really learn a language is to write code in it, so you should be coding during the course. If you have any questions that are not answered here, check out the "Additional Resources" below. In particular, the IRC channel is filled with awesome people willing to help you! I spent lots of time there ;-) I will assume some familiarity with programming, and hence not explain the basic concepts common to most languages. Instead, I will focus on what makes Rust special.

docker-compose-nodejs-examples - Finally some real world examples on getting started with Docker Compose and Nodejs

  •    Javascript

Docker Compose is an awesome tool for creating isolated development environments with Docker by using simple configurations with YAML. It's clean and easy enough to wrap your head around, even if you are new to Docker. Even though, the official website is lacking some practial, real world examples for getting started with Docker Compose and Nodejs. I hope the following real world examples will save you from some headache (like I had) while trying to figure out how to (pragmatically) use Docker Compose for your Nodejs apps.

  •    TypeScript

Theia is an extensible platform to develop full-fledged multi-language Cloud & Desktop IDE-like products with state-of-the-art web technologies. Theia is entirely written in TypeScript and clearly separates the UI frontend from the backend. The frontend runs in modern browsers or as a Desktop app using Electron with either local or remote (cloud) backends.

rendora - dynamic server-side rendering using headless Chrome to effortlessly solve the SEO problem for modern javascript websites

  •    Go

Rendora can be seen as a reverse HTTP proxy server sitting between your backend server (e.g. Node.js/Express.js, Python/Django, etc...) and potentially your frontend proxy server (e.g. nginx, traefik, apache, etc...) or even directly to the outside world that does actually nothing but transporting requests and responses as they are except when it detects whitelisted requests according to the config. In that case, Rendora instructs a headless Chrome instance to request and render the corresponding page and then return the server-side rendered page back to the client (i.e. the frontend proxy server or the outside world). This simple functionality makes Rendora a powerful dynamic renderer without actually changing anything in both frontend and backend code. Dynamic rendering means that the server provides server-side rendered HTML to web crawlers such as GoogleBot and BingBot and at the same time provides the typical initial HTML to normal users in order to be rendered at the client side. Dynamic rendering is meant to improve SEO for websites written in modern javascript frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, etc...
