source-map-explorer - Analyze and debug space usage through source maps

  •        53

Analyze and debug JavaScript (or Sass or LESS) code bloat through source maps. The source map explorer determines which file each byte in your minified code came from. It shows you a treemap visualization to help you debug where all the code is coming from. Check out this Chrome Developer video (3:25) for a demo of the tool in action.

node-source-map-support - Adds source map support to node.js (for stack traces)

  •    Javascript

This module provides source map support for stack traces in node via the V8 stack trace API. It uses the source-map module to replace the paths and line numbers of source-mapped files with their original paths and line numbers. The output mimics node's stack trace format with the goal of making every compile-to-JS language more of a first-class citizen. Source maps are completely general (not specific to any one language) so you can use source maps with multiple compile-to-JS languages in the same node process. If multiple sourceMappingURL comments exist in one file, the last sourceMappingURL comment will be respected (e.g. if a file mentions the comment in code, or went through multiple transpilers). The path should either be absolute or relative to the compiled file.

route-me - Open source map library for iOS

  •    Objective-C

Route-Me is an open source map library that runs natively on iOS. It's designed to look and feel much like the inbuilt iOS map library, but it's entirely open, and works with any map source. Currently, OpenStreetMap, Microsoft VirtualEarth, CloudMade, OpenAerialMap, OpenCycleMap, SpatialCloud, TileStream7, and two offline-capable, database-backed formats (DBMap and MBTiles) are supported as map sources.

AlphaPose - Multi-Person Pose Estimation System

  •    Jupyter

Alpha Pose is an accurate multi-person pose estimator, which is the first open-source system that achieves 70+ mAP (72.3 mAP) on COCO dataset and 80+ mAP (82.1 mAP) on MPII dataset. To match poses that correspond to the same person across frames, we also provide an efficient online pose tracker called Pose Flow. It is the first open-source online pose tracker that achieves both 60+ mAP (66.5 mAP) and 50+ MOTA (58.3 MOTA) on PoseTrack Challenge dataset. Note: Please read PoseFlow/README.md for details.

barefoot - Java library for integrating the map into software and services with state-of-the-art online and offline map matching that can be used stand-alone and in the cloud

  •    Java

An open source Java library for online and offline map matching with OpenStreetMap. Together with its extensive set of geometric and spatial functions, an in-memory map data structure and basic machine learning functions, it is a versatile basis for scalable location-based services and spatio-temporal data analysis on the map. It is designed for use in parallel and distributed systems and, hence, includes a stand-alone map matching server and can be used in distributed systems for map matching services in the cloud. Barefoot consists of a software library and a (Docker-based) map server that provides access to street map data from OpenStreetMap and is flexible to be used in distributed cloud infrastructures as map data server or side-by-side with Barefoot's stand-alone servers for offline (matcher server) and online map matching (tracker server), or other applications built with Barefoot library. Access to map data is provided with a fast and flexible in-memory map data structure. Together with GeographicLib [1] and ESRI's geometry API [2], it provides an extensive set of geographic and geometric operations for spatial data analysis on the map.

tilelive - fast interface to tiles with pluggable backends

  •    Javascript

Tilelive is designed for streaming map tiles from sources (like custom geographic data formats) to sinks (destinations, like file systems) by providing a consistent API. This repository enables the interaction between sources and sinks and is meant to be used in tandem with at least one Tilelive plugin. Tilelive plugins (modules) follow a consistent architecture (defined in API.md) and implement the logic for generating and reading map tiles from a source or putting map tiles to a destination, or both.An example of a plugin that implements both reading (can be a source) and writing (can be a sink) is tilelive-s3.

EarthView - 3D Visualization of Earth using Map Tiles for iOS

  •    Objective-C

EarthView is an open-source 3D visualization of the Earth globe for iOS that uses map tiles for imagery and OpenGL ES and GLKit for rendering. I built it for a side-project that may never go anywhere, so I figured it might be educational or useful to other developers. The project uses a quad-tree to page in map tiles that conform to the Tile Map Service standard (or, the flipped Google equivalent). The level of detail to display is determined by the estimated screen-space error of a given page.
