cache - The Cache component provides an extended PSR-6 implementation for adding cache to your applications

  •    PHP

This component provides an extended PSR-6 implementation for adding cache to your applications. It is designed to have a low overhead so that caching is fastest. It ships with a few caching adapters for the most widespread and suited to caching backends. It also provides a doctrine/cache proxy adapter to cover more advanced caching needs and a proxy adapter for greater interoperability between PSR-6 implementations.

JetCache - Java cache abstraction which provides consistent use for various caching solutions

  •    Java

JetCache is a Java cache abstraction which provides consistent use for various caching solutions. Presently it support Redis and Alibaba Tair and Caffeine cache as embedded cache.

laravel-model-caching - Eloquent model-caching made easy.

  •    PHP

I created this package in response to a client project that had complex, nested forms with many <select>'s that resulted in over 700 database queries on one page. I needed a package that abstracted the caching process out of the model for me, and one that would let me cache custom queries, as well as cache model relationships. This package is an attempt to address those requirements. For best performance a taggable cache provider is recommended (redis, memcached). While this is optional, using a non-taggable cache provider will mean that the entire cache is cleared each time a model is created, saved, updated, or deleted.

CacheManager - CacheManager is an open source caching abstraction layer for

  •    CSharp

CacheManager is an open source caching abstraction layer for .NET written in C#. It supports various cache providers and implements many advanced features. The main goal of the CacheManager package is to make developer's life easier to handle even very complex caching scenarios. With CacheManager it is possible to implement multiple layers of caching, e.g. in-process caching in front of a distributed cache, in just a few lines of code.

Ehcache

  •    Java

Ehcache is an open source, standards-based cache used to boost performance, offload the database and simplify scalability. Ehcache is robust, proven and full-featured and this has made it the most widely-used Java-based cache.

nuster - A web caching proxy server based on HAProxy

  •    C

Nuster is a simple yet powerful web caching proxy server based on HAProxy. It is 100% compatible with HAProxy, and takes full advantage of the ACL functionality of HAProxy to provide fine-grained caching policy based on the content of request, response or server status. Nuster is very fast, some test shows nuster is almost three times faster than nginx when both using single core, and nearly two times faster than nginx and three times faster than varnish when using all cores.

johnny-cache - johnny cache django caching framework

  •    Python

Johnny Cache is a caching framework for django applications. It works with the django caching abstraction, but was developed specifically with the use of memcached in mind. Its main feature is a patch on Django's ORM that automatically caches all reads in a consistent manner. Please read The full documentation to Johnny Cache before using it.

Simple-PHP-Cache - A light, simple but powerful PHP5 Cache Class which uses the filesystem for caching

  •    PHP

A light, simple but powerful PHP5 Cache Class which uses the filesystem for caching. Your feedback is always welcome. Basically the caching class stores its data in files in the JSON format. These files will be created if you store data under a Cache name.

SharedCache.com - high-performance, distributed caching

  •    ASPNET

high-performance, distributed memory object caching system, generic in nature, but intended to speeding up dynamic web and / or win applications by alleviating database load. Don't forget to visit us at http://www.sharedcache.com

Attribute Based Cache using Unity Interception

Unity interception handler attribute for Caching which allows to apply boiler plate caching pattern to classes, and class members directly, without configuring them in the application configuration file. Configure your choice of Cache Provider (ObjectCache, Azure included)...

multi_fetch_fragments - Multi-fetch Fragments makes rendering and caching a collection of template partials easier and faster

  •    Ruby

I just implemented this on the staging environment of https://www.biglittlepond.com. The one-line render call for the most recently collected items dropped from ~700 ms to ~50 ms. 25 items per page. This will be going into the production release later this week. Multi-fetch Fragments makes rendering and caching a collection of template partials easier and faster. It takes advantage of the read_multi method on the Rails cache store. Some cache implementations have an optimized version of read_multi, which includes the popular Dalli client to Memcached. Traditionally, partial rendering and caching of a collection occurs sequentially, retrieving items from the cache store with the less optimized read method.

LazyCache - An easy to use thread safe generics based in memory caching service with a simple developer friendly API for c#

  •    CSharp

Lazy cache is a simple in-memory caching service. It has a developer friendly generics based API, and provides a thread safe cache implementation that guarantees to only execute your cachable delegates once (it's lazy!). Under the hood it leverages Microsoft.Extensions.Caching and Lazy to provide performance and reliability in heavy load scenarios. As you can see the magic happens in the GetOrAdd() method which gives the consumer an atomic and tidy way to add caching to your code. It leverages a factory delegate Func and generics to make it easy to add cached method calls to your app.

cache2k – High Performance Java Caching

  •    Java

cache2k focuses on providing a well engineered in-memory object cache implementation for Java applications.

Caffeine - A high performance caching library for Java 8

  •    Java

Caffeine is a high performance, near optimal caching library based on Java 8. It provides an in-memory cache using a Google Guava inspired API.

twig-cache-extension - The missing cache extension for Twig. Caching template fragments with Twig.

  •    PHP

The missing cache extension for Twig. The extension allows for caching rendered parts of templates using several cache strategies. The extension ships with a few cache strategies out of the box. Setup and usage of all of them is described below.

Kingfisher - A lightweight, pure-Swift library for downloading and caching images from the web.

  •    Swift

Kingfisher is a lightweight, pure-Swift library for downloading and caching images from the web. This project is heavily inspired by the popular SDWebImage. It provides you a chance to use a pure-Swift alternative in your next app. Kingfisher will download the image from url, send it to both the memory cache and the disk cache, and display it in imageView. When you use the same code later, the image will be retrieved from cache and shown immediately.

Memcached - distributed object caching system

  •    C

Memcached is high-performance, distributed memory object caching system, generic in nature, but intended for use in speeding up dynamic web applications by alleviating database load. Memcached is an in-memory key-value store for small chunks of arbitrary data (strings, objects) from results of database calls, API calls, or page rendering.

nodecache - a node internal caching module

  •    CoffeeScript

A simple caching module that has set, get and delete methods and works a little bit like memcached. Keys can have a timeout (ttl) after which they expire and are deleted from the cache. All keys are stored in a single object so the practical limit is at around 1m keys. Since 4.1.0: Key-validation: The keys can be given as either string or number, but are casted to a string internally anyway. All other types will either throw an error or call the callback with an error.
