Important Note: this repository has been superceded by Couchbase Lite Android. Please switch to that repository instead and refer to Moving from TouchDB to Couchbase Lite for more information.TouchDB-Android is the Android port of TouchDB by Jens Alfke (jens@couchbase.com). For information on the high-level goals of the project see the iOS README. This document will limit itself to Android specific issues and deviations from the iOS version.

Sync Gateway - Connects Couchbase Lite to Couchbase Server

  •    Go

Sync Gateway connects Couchbase Lite to Couchbase Server. It manages HTTP-based data access for Couchbase Lite mobile clients, Leverages Couchbase Server as it's horizontally scalable backing data store, Clustered into a horizontally scalable tier, Provides access control and data routing.

TouchDB-iOS - CouchDB-compatible mobile database; Objective-C version

  •    Objective-C

TouchDB is the legacy 1.0 version of the project now named Couchbase Lite. Due to the renaming and architectural changes, Couchbase Lite lives in a separate repository (although it inherits from TouchDB.) We don't recommend using TouchDB for any new development: Couchbase Lite is faster, easier to use, has a better API, has a lot of new features including full-text search and geo-queries, and is actively being developed and supported..

couchbase-lite-net - A lightweight, document-oriented (NoSQL), syncable database engine for .NET

  •    CSharp

Couchbase Lite is a lightweight embedded NoSQL database that has built-in sync to larger backend structures, such as Couchbase Server. This is the source repo of Couchbase Lite C#. It is originally a port of Couchbase Lite from Couchbase Lite Android.

couchbase-lite-ios - Lightweight, embedded, syncable NoSQL database engine for iOS (and Mac!) apps.

  •    Objective-C

Couchbase Lite is an embedded lightweight, document-oriented (NoSQL), syncable database engine.Latency matters a lot to users, so a local database takes frustration out of the equation. It’s got JSON documents, and the same map/reduce as Couchbase Server, in a pint-sized edition.

gocb - The Couchbase Go SDK

  •    Go

This is the official Couchbase Go SDK. If you are looking for our previous unofficial prototype Go client library, please see: http://www.github.com/couchbase/go-couchbase.The Go SDK library allows you to connect to a Couchbase cluster from Go. It is written in pure Go, and uses the included gocbcore library to handle communicating to the cluster over the Couchbase binary protocol.

go-couchbase - Couchbase client in Go

  •    Go

This is a unoffical version of a Couchbase Golang client. If you are looking for the Offical Couchbase Golang client. This is an evolving package, but does provide a useful interface to a couchbase server including all of the pool/bucket discovery features, compatible key distribution with other clients, and vbucket motion awareness so application can continue to operate during rebalances.

ng-admin - Add an AngularJS admin GUI to any RESTful API

  •    Javascript

Plug me to your RESTFul API to get a complete administration interface (datagrid, filters, complex form widgets, multi-model relationships, dashboard) in no time! Beyond simple CRUD, ng-admin lets you build sophisticated GUIs without getting in your way. This project is now in maintenance mode. We've rebuilt it from scratch with React.js (the new project is called react-admin), and we're putting all our efforts on the React version.

Mobile-Security-Framework-MobSF - Mobile Security Framework is an automated, all-in-one mobile application (Android/iOS/Windows) pen-testing framework capable of performing static analysis, dynamic analysis, malware analysis and web API testing

  •    Python

Mobile Security Framework (MobSF) is an automated, all-in-one mobile application (Android/iOS/Windows) pen-testing framework capable of performing static, dynamic and malware analysis. It can be used for effective and fast security analysis of Android, iOS and Windows mobile applications and support both binaries (APK, IPA & APPX ) and zipped source code. MobSF can do dynamic application testing at runtime for Android apps and has Web API fuzzing capabilities powered by CapFuzz, a Web API specific security scanner. MobSF is designed to make your CI/CD or DevSecOps pipeline integration seamless. Your generous donations will keep us motivated.

mobile - The mobile vault (iOS, Android, and UWP).

  •    CSharp

The Bitwarden mobile application is written in C# with Xamarin Android, Xamarin iOS, UWP, and Xamarin Forms. By default the app is targeting the production API. If you are running the Core API locally, you'll need to switch the app to target your local instance. Open src/App/Utilities/ApiHttpClient.cs and src/App/Utilities/IdentityHttpClient.cs and set the BaseAddress to your local API endpoints (ex. new Uri("http://localhost:5000")). Alternatively, you can also adjust the environment endpoints from the environment settings page on the home screen of the app (log out).

Essentials - Essential cross platform APIs for your mobile apps.

  •    CSharp

Xamarin.Essentials gives developers essential cross-platform APIs for their mobile applications. iOS, Android, and UWP offer unique operating system and platform APIs that developers have access to all in C# leveraging Xamarin. It is great that developers have 100% API access in C# with Xamarin, but these APIs are different per platform. This means developers have to learn three different APIs to access platform specific features. With Xamarin.Essentials developers have a single cross-platform API that works with any iOS, Android, or UWP application that can be accessed from shared code no matter how the user interface is created.

restangular - AngularJS service to handle Rest API Restful Resources properly and easily

  •    Javascript

Restangular is an AngularJS service that simplifies common GET, POST, DELETE, and UPDATE requests with a minimum of client code. It's a perfect fit for any WebApp that consumes data from a RESTful API.Learn Restangular! Try the live demo on plunkr. It uses the same example as the official Angular Javascript Project, but with Restangular! Or watch a video introduction of a talk I gave at Devoxx France about Restangular.

dropstore-ng - Dropbox Datastore bindings for AngularJS

  •    Javascript

The bindings wrap the first three tiers (Client, DatastoreManager, Datastore) of the Dropbox Datastore API within Angular Promises. This is because only the first three tiers use callbacks and because it creates a easy to follow chain of async function calls rather than the hell usually associated with callback heavy libraries. The Dropbox Datastore API is also wrapped with promises to create a simple way to ensure that the AngularJS scope is updated properly. dropstore-ng also provides AngularJS publish/subscribe functionality allowing applications to listen for local and/or remote updates to the datastores. Check out the example-todo branch for more the live demo code.
