Amazon ECS (EC2 Container Service) provides an excellent platform for deploying microservices as containers. The challenge however is that there is a significant learning curve for microservice developers to deploy their applications in an efficient manner. Specifically, they must learn to use CloudFormation to orchestrate the management of ECS, ECR, EC2, ELB, VPC, and IAM resources. Additionally, tools like CodeBuild and CodePipeline must be mastered to create a continuous delivery pipeline for their microservices. To address these challenges, this tool was created to simplify the declaration and administration of the AWS resources necessary to support microservices. Similar to how the Serverless Framework improved the developer experience of Lambda and API Gateway, this tool makes it easier for developers to use ECS as a microservices platform.

DotCi - DotCi Jenkins github integration, .ci.yml http://groupon.github.io/DotCi

  •    Java

Brings ease of build configuration of cloud ci systems like travisci and ease of runtime environment configuration of docker to jenkins.

phantom-lambda-template - The bare minimum for a phantomjs app to run on Amazon Lambda.

  •    Javascript

This is a reference implementation of running PhantomJS on AWS Lambda deployed with AWS CodePipeline. PhantomJS needs to be compiled for the OS you plan on running it and this can be painful because of that fact. This could be circumvented with a build server, which is a very personal decision and it was hard to commit to a build server for this little project. Now with AWS CodeBuild, this has become a trivial matter. So we are using AWS Developer tools 100%, AWS created a great walk through: Automating Deployment of Lambda-based Applications I have done my best to automate the walk through, so its simple and repeatable.

jenkins-ci.org-docker - Maybe official jenkins docker repo

  •    Shell

The Jenkins Continuous Integration and Delivery server. The volume for the "myjenkins" named container will then be persistent.

screwdriver - An open source build platform designed for continuous delivery.

  •    Javascript

Screwdriver is a self-contained, pluggable service to help you build, test, and continuously deliver software using the latest containerization technologies. Screwdriver began as a hack for simplified interfacing with Jenkins at Yahoo in 2012. As the volume of builds increased, it became clear that Jenkins was not stable or feasible to use at the scale we were running builds. In 2016, we rebuilt Screwdriver from scratch in open source with our best coding practices and CICD goals in mind. Screwdriver is executor and SCM-agnostic, meaning you can choose whichever plugin better suits your need or build your own. It's completely free and open source, and our team is actively maintaining the code.

jenkins - Development repository for Jenkins Chef cookbook

  •    Ruby

Installs and configures Jenkins CI master & node slaves. Resource providers to support automation via jenkins-cli, including job create/update. This cookbook does not install, manage, or manipulate a JDK, as that is outside of the scope of Jenkins. The package installation method will automatically pull in a valid Java if one does not exist on Debian. RHEL jenkins packages do not depend on java as there are far too many options for a package to do the right thing. We recommend including the java cookbook on your system which allows for either openJDK or Oracle JDK installations.

phabricator-jenkins-plugin - Jenkins plugin to integrate with Phabricator, Harbormaster, and Uberalls

  •    Java

This plugin provides Phabricator integration with Jenkins. It allows Jenkins to report build status and coverage information over Harbormaster (or via comments if Harbormaster is not enabled). Before the plugin can be used, a few configuration steps on your Phabricator and Jenkins instances need to be completed.

JenkinsPipelineUnit - Framework for unit testing Jenkins pipelines

  •    Groovy

Jenkins Pipeline Unit is a testing framework for unit testing Jenkins pipelines, written in Groovy Pipeline DSL. If you use Jenkins as your CI workhorse (like us @ lesfurets.com) and you enjoy writing pipeline-as-code, you already know that pipeline code is very powerful but can get pretty complex.

ansible-role-jenkins - Ansible Role - Jenkins CI

  •    Groovy

django-jenkins - Plug and play continuous integration with django and jenkins

  •    Python

This will create reports/ directory with junit xml, Coverage and Pylint reports. If present, it is supposed to be a list/tuple of django apps for Jenkins to run. Tests, reports, and coverage are generated only for the apps from this list.

jenkins-job-builder - Tools to make Jenkins jobs from templates

  •    Python

Jenkins Job Builder takes simple descriptions of Jenkins jobs in YAML or JSON format and uses them to configure Jenkins. You can keep your job descriptions in human readable text format in a version control system to make changes and auditing easier. It also has a flexible template system, so creating many similarly configured jobs is easy. Install pre-commit from https://pre-commit.com/#intro in order to run some minimal testing on your commits.
