mod_auth_openidc - OpenID Connect Relying Party and OAuth 2

  •    C

mod_auth_openidc is an authentication/authorization module for the Apache 2.x HTTP server that functions as an OpenID Connect Relying Party, authenticating users against an OpenID Connect Provider. It can also function as an OAuth 2.0 Resource Server, validating OAuth 2.0 bearer access tokens presented by OAuth 2.0 Clients. This module enables an Apache 2.x web server to operate as an OpenID Connect Relying Party (RP) to an OpenID Connect Provider (OP). It authenticates users against an OpenID Connect Provider, receives user identity information from the OP in a so called ID Token and passes on the identity information (a.k.a. claims) in the ID Token to applications hosted and protected by the Apache web server.

MITREid Connect - An OpenID Connect reference implementation in Java on the Spring platform

  •    Java

This project contains a certified OpenID Connect reference implementation in Java on the Spring platform, including a functioning server library, deployable server package, client (RP) library, and general utility libraries. The server can be used as an OpenID Connect Identity Provider as well as a general-purpose OAuth 2.0 Authorization Server.

lua-resty-openidc - Lua implementation to make NGINX operate as an OpenID Connect RP or OAuth 2

  •    Lua

lua-resty-openidc is a library for NGINX implementing the OpenID Connect Relying Party (RP) and/or the OAuth 2.0 Resource Server (RS) functionality. When used as an OpenID Connect Relying Party it authenticates users against an OpenID Connect Provider using OpenID Connect Discovery and the Basic Client Profile (i.e. the Authorization Code flow). When used as an OAuth 2.0 Resource Server it can validate OAuth 2.0 Bearer Access Tokens against an Authorization Server or, in case a JSON Web Token is used for an Access Token, verification can happen against a pre-configured secret/key .

AppAuth-Android - Android client SDK for communicating with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect providers.

  •    Java

AppAuth for Android is a client SDK for communicating with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect providers. It strives to directly map the requests and responses of those specifications, while following the idiomatic style of the implementation language. In addition to mapping the raw protocol flows, convenience methods are available to assist with common tasks like performing an action with fresh tokens. The library follows the best practices set out in RFC 8252 - OAuth 2.0 for Native Apps, including using Custom Tabs for authorization requests. For this reason, WebView is explicitly not supported due to usability and security reasons.

fosite - Extensible security first OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect SDK for Go.

  •    Go

The security first OAuth2 & OpenID Connect framework for Go. Built simple, powerful and extensible. This library implements peer-reviewed IETF RFC6749, counterfeits weaknesses covered in peer-reviewed IETF RFC6819 and countermeasures various database attack scenarios, keeping your application safe when that hacker penetrates or leaks your database. OpenID Connect is implemented according to OpenID Connect Core 1.0 incorporating errata set 1 and includes all flows: code, implicit, hybrid.OAuth2 and OpenID Connect are difficult protocols. If you want quick wins, we strongly encourage you to look at Hydra. Hydra is a secure, high performance, cloud native OAuth2 and OpenID Connect service that integrates with every authentication method imaginable and is built on top of Fosite.

caddy-auth-portal - Authentication Plugin for Caddy v2 implementing Form-Based, Basic, Local, LDAP, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2

  •    Go

Authentication Plugin for Caddy v2 implementing Form-Based, Basic, Local, LDAP, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, SAML Authentication. The purpose of this plugin is providing authentication only. The plugin issue JWT tokens upon successful authentication. In turn, the authorization of the tokens is being handled by caddy-auth-jwt.

restify-oauth2 - A simple OAuth 2 endpoint for Restify

  •    CoffeeScript

This package provides a very simple OAuth 2.0 endpoint for the Restify framework. In particular, it implements the Client Credentials and Resource Owner Password Credentials flows only. Unfortunately, Restify–OAuth2 can't be a simple Restify plugin. It needs to install a route for the token endpoint, whereas plugins simply run on every request and don't modify the server's routing table.

go-oauth2-server - A standalone, specification-compliant, OAuth2 server written in Golang.

  •    Go

This service implements OAuth 2.0 specification. Excerpts from the specification are included in this README file to describe different grant types. Please read the full spec for more detailed information.Clients must authenticate with client credentials (client ID and secret) when issuing requests to /v1/oauth/tokens endpoint. Basic HTTP authentication should be used.

oauth - A library for performing OAuth Device flow and Web application flow in Go client apps.

  •    Go

A library for Go client applications that need to perform OAuth authorization against a server, typically GitHub.com. Traditionally, OAuth for web applications involves redirecting to a URI after the user authorizes an app. While web apps (and some native client apps) can receive a browser redirect, client apps such as CLI applications do not have such an option.

ORY Hydra - OpenID Connect and OAuth Provider written in Go

  •    Go

ORY Hydra is a hardened, OpenID Certified OAuth 2.0 Server and OpenID Connect Provider optimized for low-latency, high throughput, and low resource consumption. ORY Hydra is not an identity provider (user sign up, user login, password reset flow), but connects to your existing identity provider through a login and consent app. Implementing the login and consent app in a different language is easy, and exemplary consent apps (Go, Node) and SDKs are provided.

OAuth2Client - Client library for OAuth2 (currently built against draft 10 of the OAuth2 spec)

  •    Objective-C

An OAuth2 library for Mac OS X & iOS (Cocoa & Cocoa touch). This library is based on draft 10 of the OAuth2 spec. It implements the native application profile and supports the end-user authorization endpoint via an internal or an external user-agent. Furthermore it also supports the user credentials flow by prompting the end-user for their username and password and use them directly to obtain an access token. See the description of the delegate for more information how to choose the authentication flow.

rest-oauth2-server - Rest OAuth2 Server is a Rails 3 app that let you open up your API and manage end-user authentication and client application authorization implementing the OAuth 2

  •    Ruby

We are sorry to annunce that due to a lack of time rest oauth2 server is now without a mantainer. For this reason we call the **project dead** and we suggest you to use more solid solution such as Doorkeeper or oPRO. Anyway, we still think this project can be helpful to understand how a OAuth2 server works so if interested in that checkout the code and the whole documentation. It was really nice to have such good people collaborating on this project. P.S. If you are interested about becoming the new mantainer of this project write us.

oauthlib - A generic, spec-compliant, thorough implementation of the OAuth request-signing logic

  •    Python

OAuthLib is a generic utility which implements the logic of OAuth without assuming a specific HTTP request object or web framework. Use it to graft OAuth client support onto your favorite HTTP library, or provide support onto your favourite web framework. If you're a maintainer of such a library, write a thin veneer on top of OAuthLib and get OAuth support for very little effort. Then you might be more interested in using requests which has OAuthLib powered OAuth support provided by the requests-oauthlib library.

oauth2-client - Easy integration with OAuth 2.0 service providers.

  •    PHP

This package makes it simple to integrate your application with OAuth 2.0 service providers. We are all used to seeing those "Connect with Facebook/Google/etc." buttons around the internet, and social network integration is an important feature of most web applications these days. Many of these sites use an authentication and authorization standard called OAuth 2.0 (RFC 6749).
