casl - CASL is an isomorphic authorization JavaScript library which restricts what resources a given user is allowed to access

  •    Javascript

CASL (pronounced /ˈkæsəl/, like castle) is an isomorphic authorization JavaScript library which restricts what resources a given user is allowed to access. All permissions are defined in a single location (the Ability class) and not duplicated across UI components, API services, and database queries. Heavily inspired by cancan.

vue-virtual-scroller - ⚡️ Smooth scroll with any amount of data

  •    Vue

Smooth scroll with any amount of data (demo). ⚠️ vue-virtual-scroller now uses vue-observe-visibility to automatically refresh itself when shown to prevent display glitches. This means you need to include the Intersection Observer polyfill needed by vue-observe-visibility for this to work in old browsers (like Internet Explorer).

vue-typer - Vue component that simulates a user typing, selecting, and erasing text.

  •    Vue

Vue component that simulates a user typing, selecting, and erasing text. Play with vue-typer in this interactive demo. VueTyper has a single dependency to lodash.split to support emojis and other multi-codepoint Unicode characters. Apart from this, VueTyper does not have any direct dependencies to any other library or framework -- not even to Vue itself! All required Vue API calls are made through Vue's this.$* context methods. This means VueTyper can only execute within a Vue application context, but in exchange, it does not need to pull in Vue, which keeps VueTyper lightweight.

sample-vue-shop - A sample shop that shows how to manage payments with Vue, Stripe, and Serverless Functions

  •    Vue

This small demo shows how to accept payments with stripe with Vue.js using a serverless function. It's actually not that bad to set up! The shop also shows how a number of concepts work in Vue. Server side rendering and routing is done with Nuxt.js. Centralized state management with Vuex for product details. Of note, using computed properties, .sync, CSS Grid, and transition-group.

vue-chat-scroll - Automatic scroll-to-bottom directive for vue.

  •    Javascript

A plugin for Vue.js 2 that scrolls to the bottom of an element when new content is added within said element. Check out our lovely demo. Just include ./dist/vue-chat-scroll.js after Vue itself.

vue-clickaway - Reusable clickaway directive for reusable Vue.js components

  •    Javascript

Sometimes you need to detect clicks outside of the element (to close a modal window or hide a dropdown select). There is no native event for that, and Vue.js does not cover you either. This is why vue-clickaway exists. Please check out the demo before reading further. If you need a version for Vue 1, try vue-clickaway@1.0.

page-transitions-travelapp - Travel App, Native-like Page Transitions

  •    Vue

This demo shows an example of how to acheive native-like page transitions on the web. There's much to be improved here- it's not meant to be a full-fledged web application, just a quick demo to show how this kind of implementation could theoretically work. These concepts can and should be expressed differently in your own application, the sky's the limit here! This is created with Nuxt and Vue. For detailed explanation on how things work, checkout the Nuxt.js docs.

vue-inspector - Vue.js Inspector for Mobile Devices

  •    Javascript

vue-inspector is a basic inspector for Vue.js that works with mobile devices. It could work in a desktop environment, but I do not recommend that; use Vue.js devtools instead. With vue-inspector is possible to execute JavaScript code directly in your mobile browser and get error messages generated at run-time. Also inspect the data, props, router links, views/components, computed properties, routes, Vuex and more... inside your Vue.js project.

vue-vscode-snippets - These snippets were built to supercharge my workflow in the most seamless manner possible

  •    Javascript

These snippets were built to supercharge my workflow in the most seamless manner possible. This repo was built particularly for real world use. It doesn't catalogue the API definitions, and it's not a kitchen sink approach. Rather, it focuses on developer ergonomics from the point of Vue of real world use. Included are the pieces I personally get sick of typing, have to keep looking up, or forget to consider while developing that I make more use of when they're at my fingertips.

vue-django - @Django integrated with a full-featured @Webpack + (@vuejs / vue-loader) setup with hot reload, linting, testing & css extraction

  •    Javascript

@NdagiStanley has mirrored the fork to have this repo here. This starterpack has proved useful to many and I thank you for the emails I have received from all of you. The reasoning behind this mirror is that this is an effort to support the users more by developing further on this project. From here on, I am calling on all potential collaborators by making it easier to make PRs and adding utility of Issues in this 'new' repo (Of course with the same name :) ). Lastly, just so you know, I'll be keeping up with developments in the original. If you are using vue-cli@1.x, it will be pulling the master branch of this template by default. If you are using vue-cli@2.x, it will be pulling the dist branch instead, which provides more configurable options thanks to new features in vue-cli@2.x. It is recommended to upgrade vue-cli as soon as you can.
