Compiled binaries are available for Linux, macOS, and FreeBSD. At AutoScout24, in order to reduce operational workload, we use kafka-health-check to automatically restart broker nodes as they become unhealthy.

Python client for the Apache Kafka distributed stream processing system. kafka-python is designed to function much like the official java client, with a sprinkling of pythonic interfaces (e.g., consumer iterators).kafka-python is best used with newer brokers (0.9+), but is backwards-compatible with older versions (to 0.8.0). This bundle provides a way to run a series of application related health checks. Health checks in the scope of this bundle go beyond simple actions like performing a ping to a server to see if it's alive. For example a Memcache server can be alive and not displaying any errors in your Nagios but you might not be able to access it from your PHP application. Each health check should then implement some application logic that you want to make sure always works. Another usage can be testing for specific requirements, like availability of PHP extensions. Another design goal of the bundle was to be able to perform the checks using the same configuration and environment that your application is using. In that way you can make sure that if the health check runs successfully then your app should work too.

Goss is a YAML based serverspec alternative tool for validating a server’s configuration. It eases the process of writing tests by allowing the user to generate tests from the current system state. gorb - IPVS on steroids – REST API, heartbeats, service discovery and more

This daemon is an IPVS frontend with a REST API interface. You can use it to control local IPVS instance in the Kernel to dynamically register virtual services and backends. It also supports basic TCP and HTTP health checks (called Gorb Pulse). Backends which fail to pass the health check will have weights set to zero to inhibit any traffic from being routed into their direction. When a backend comes back online, GORB won't immediately set its weight to the previous value, but instead gradually restore it based on backend's accumulated health statistics.

It can be used by end-users who are looking for all relevant firmware information such as Family, Version, Release, Type, Date, SKU, Platform etc. It is capable of detecting new/unknown firmware, checking firmware health, Updated/Outdated status and many more. ME Analyzer is also a powerful Engine firmware research analysis tool with multiple structures which allow, among others, full parsing and unpacking of Converged Security Engine (CSE) code & file system, Flash Partition Table (FPT), Boot Partition Descriptor Table (BPDT/IFWI), CSE Layout Table (LT), advanced Size detection etc. Moreover, with the help of its extensive database, ME Analyzer is capable of uniquely categorizing all supported Engine firmware as well as check for any firmware which have not been stored at the Intel Engine Firmware Repositories yet.
