grabbit - Grabbit - Fast Content Sync tool for AEM/CQ

  •    Groovy

The purpose of Grabbit is to provide a fast and reliable way of copying content from one Sling (specifically Adobe CQ/AEM) instance to another. Existing solutions have been tried and found insufficient for very large data sets (GB-TB), especially over a network. CQ’s .zip packages are extremely space inefficient, causing a lot of extra I/O. vlt rcp and Mark Adamcin’s recap use essentially the same mechanism: WebDAV using XML, doing an HTTP handshake for every node and many sets of properties, which means that any latency whatsoever on the network hurts performance enormously.

ml-migration-starter - Starter kit for migrating data from any database into MarkLogic using Spring Batch

  •    Java

This is a starter kit for creating an application that uses Spring Batch and marklogic-spring-batch for migrating data from any RDBMS into MarkLogic. The intent is to simplify the process of creating a migration application using Spring Batch by leveraging the reusable components in marklogic-spring-batch, and by organizing a Gradle-based project for you that you can clone/fork/etc to quickly extend and customize for your specific needs. The fact that this uses H2 by default is only so you can kick the tires on it. Instructions are below for how to change the JDBC configuration properties to point to your own database.
