jq - Command-line JSON processor

  •    C

jq is a lightweight and flexible command-line JSON processor. jq is like sed for JSON data - you can use it to slice and filter and map and transform structured data with the same ease that sed, awk, grep and friends let you play with text.

Simple sed script for attempting to convert Sqlite3 sql to MySql sql. Not guaranteed to work, but can serve as a starting point.

json2 - xml2 for JSON

  •    Python

There is a tool to convert XML files to intermediate format that allows editing and data extraction to be performed with simple (not XML-aware) tools, such as regular expressions-based grep or sed. It does not solve the general task of transforming XML files, but still allows text handling tools to go farther than in case of direct attempt to use them on XML. But xml2 is for XML, and somebody may want the similar tool for JSON.

LensPop

  •    sed

The codes in this project will allow you to simulate observations of the galaxy-galaxy strong lensing population as seen by upcoming surveys. The code is open access, but please email thomas.collett@port.ac.uk to tell me that you are using it. Please cite Collett 2015, if you make use of these codes in your work.

xmpp-echo-bot - XMPP/Jabber echo bot (written in sed)

  •    sed

Do you know that situation, you really really need an XMPP echo bot, but you don’t have access to high-level tools like Python to write one? All you have is openssl, bash, dig, stdbuf and sed? Then this tool is for you. This is an XMPP echo bot written in (mostly) sed. Bash is used to do the pre-authentication setup (look up DNS records, establish TLS via openssl s_client). sed processes the XML stream and handles all interaction with the server on the XMPP level. Yes, this kinda parses XML in sed.

misspell-fixer - Simple tool for fixing common misspellings, typos in source code

  •    sed

Utility to fix common misspellings, typos in source code. There are lots of typical misspellings in program code. Typically they are more eye-catching in the living code but they can easily hide in comments, examples, samples, notes and documentation. With this utility you can fix a large number of them very quickly. Be aware that the utility does not check or fix file names. It can easily happen that a misspelled word is fixed in a file name in a program's code, but the file itself will not be renamed by this utility.

joint-ner-and-md-tagger - This repo contains the software that was used to conduct the experiments reported in our article titled "Improving Named Entity Recognition by Jointly Learning to Disambiguate Morphological Tags" [1] to be presented at COLING 2018

  •    sed

This repo contains the software that was used to conduct the experiments reported in our article titled "Improving Named Entity Recognition by Jointly Learning to Disambiguate Morphological Tags" [1] to be presented at COLING 2018. We recommend using the helper scripts for conducting experiments. The scripts named helper-script-* run the experiments in the paper with given hyper parameters. Beware that the option -j6 will make the script run six experiment configurations at once.
