Robinhood is a commission-free, online securities brokerage. As you would expect, being an online service means everything is handled through a request that is made to a specific URL. Before I go too far, I must say that this is a big, messy work in progress. I'll continue to update this as I figure more out. Sections marked TODO are in my head but I haven't found the time to describe them yet. Work in progress and all.
NodeJS Framework to make trades with the private Robinhood API. Using this API is not encouraged, since it's not officially available and it has been reverse engineered. See @Sanko's Unofficial Documentation for more information. Tested on the latest versions of Node 6, 7 & 8.
Download Robinhood for Mac. Download Robinhood for Windows. Download Robinhood for Linux. Built on top of electron to support mac, windows and linux. The front is written using React frameworks. The state is managed by mobX.
Currently only market orders are supported but adding all the different limit order types is really rather simple. I might update it myself if I find a round tuit somewhere this summer. Might even add a sell script... You can dump the CSV to STDOUT by leaving -output undefined.
This app is written using async/await so you'll need a minimum node/npm version that supports this style of syntax. You should be able to easily add any missing calls to the file ./api/calls.js. Not sure how the calls work? This was built from reading https://github.com/sanko/Robinhood. If you want to see it added to this package, go ahead and send a pull request.
