docker-onion-nmap - Scan

  •    Shell

Use nmap to scan hidden "onion" services on the Tor network. Minimal image based on alpine, using proxychains to wrap nmap. Tor and dnsmasq are run as daemons via s6, and proxychains wraps nmap to use the Tor SOCKS proxy on port 9050. Tor is also configured via DNSPort to anonymously resolve DNS requests to port 9053. dnsmasq is configured to with this localhost:9053 as an authority DNS server. Proxychains is configured to proxy DNS through the local resolver, so all DNS requests will go through Tor and applications can resolve .onion addresses. When the container boots, it launches Tor and dnsmasq as daemons. The tor_wait script then waits for the Tor SOCKS proxy to be up before executing your command.

proxy-chain - Node

  •    Javascript

Node.js implementation of a proxy server (think Squid) with support for SSL, authentication, upstream proxy chaining, custom HTTP responses and measuring traffic statistics. The authentication and proxy chaining configuration is defined in code and can be dynamic. Note that the proxy server only supports Basic authentication (see Proxy-Authorization for details). For example, this package is useful if you need to use proxies with authentication in the headless Chrome web browser, because it doesn't accept proxy URLs such as http://username:password@proxy.example.com:8080. With this library, you can setup a local proxy server without any password that will forward requests to the upstream proxy with password. For this very purpose the package is used by the Apify web scraping platform.

proxy-scrape - scrapin' proxies with ocr

  •    Python

The TorVPN proxy list is no longer populating as of July 2018, therefore this tool is defunct. If you're looking for a decent free proxy list check out a2u/free-proxy-list. This is a command-line tool to scrape the TorVPN proxy list for use with proxychains. TorVPN's proxy list uses images to list IP addresses (likely to avoid scrapers), this tool uses Tesseract OCR via the pytesseract wrapper for optical character recognition and ImageMagick for image manipulation.

rocksock - blocking socket library with SSL, SOCKS/HTTP proxy chaining, and timeout

  •    C

rocksock is a powerful (mostly) blocking networking library written in C. it was designed for small size, robustness, simplicity, static linking and fine-grained error reporting and configurability. programming in a blocking way is much simpler, but can lead to near infinite blocking. rocksock addresses this by providing timeouts so the app doesn't get into a completely blocked state and can react properly on any exceptional condition. making the app fit for SSL only requires enabling one flag, and SOCKS/HTTP proxy support is built-in as well. for a "default" build, for example for a distribution, just use ./configure && make as usual.

alpine-tor-docker - A minimal Docker image with the Tor daemon running in the background.

  •    Ruby

A minimal Docker image (~13MB) with the Tor daemon running in the background. This helper script starts the Tor daemon and runs the command passed in the arguments.
