Apollo-11 - Original Apollo 11 Guidance Computer (AGC) source code for the command and lunar modules

  •    Assembly

Original Apollo 11 guidance computer (AGC) source code for Command Module (Comanche055) and Lunar Module (Luminary099). Digitized by the folks at Virtual AGC and MIT Museum. The goal is to be a repo for the original Apollo 11 source code. As such, PRs are welcome for any issues identified between the transcriptions in this repository and the original source scans for Luminary 099 and Comanche 055, as well as any files I may have missed. Please read CONTRIBUTING.md before opening a pull request.

cassini-tools - Some tools to help work with imagery and metadata from the Cassini space probe's ISS cameras

  •    Shell

This uses Node, MySQL and some standard command line tools. Extra stuff requires ImageMagick (http://www.imagemagick.org/). The main tool in here is process_coiss.js a node script that will go through directories full of raw Cassini ISS data downloads and export a CSV file of all image metadata than can then be used to import into a database. This database can then be used to find, sort and query sequences of Cassini images. I've also included cassini_ISS_metadata.sql which is the code needed to create a MySQL table to import your CSV into.

PLEASE NOTE: Until recently, this repository was named OpenMDAO/blue. If you had cloned that repository, please update your repository name and remotes to reflect these changes. The OpenMDAO 2.x.y code has taken the name OpenMDAO, and it resides at https://github.com/OpenMDAO/OpenMDAO.

solar-system-threejs - The Solar System: Modeled to scale with Three.js

  •    CSS

This is a project powered by Three.js and WebGL. All objects within this project have been modeled to scale based on real astronomical data. The scene currently renders the sun, all eight planets (nine if you side with Pluto being a planet), each planet's moons, the asteriod belt and thousands of stars.

infinity-interview-app-shell - Basic Express based app for serving up a React based application

predict-wildfire-intensity - Use NASA data with Watson Studio and Machine Learning to predict the intensity of wildfires

  •    Javascript

For this Code Pattern, we will use data on Wildfires from NASA to predict the intensity of Wildfires, using Watson Studio Machine Learning. NASA provides data for various things, from weather and climate to solar flares and wildfire. This data is paid for by U.S. taxpayers and is free to use. The missing component is machine learning, which can take data and train a model to predict one of the features of the data set. For this example, we'll grab wildfire data and build a model that can predict intensity of the fire base on latitude and longitude.

nasa-cli - 🚀 Download NASA Picture of the Day from your terminal!

  •    Javascript

It downloads the latest Picture of the Day (or from specific date) from NASA APOD and saves it on your computer (in the directory, where terminal is executed 🦄). NASA CLI is not affiliated with National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

nasapower - NASA POWER Global Meteorology, Surface Solar Energy and Climatology Data Client

  •    R

nasapower aims to make it quick and easy to automate downloading NASA-POWER global meteorology and surface solar energy climatology data in your R session as a tidy data frame tibble object for analysis and use in modelling or other purposes. POWER (Prediction Of Worldwide Energy Resource) data are freely available for download at a resolution of 0.5 arc degree longitude by 0.5 arc degree latitude. nasapower offers further functionality to quickly and easily generate an APSIM package metFile format text file from POWER data for use in the Agricultural Production Systems sIMulator (APSIM) or an ICASA format text files for use in DSSAT (Decision Support System for Agrotechnology Transfer).

getSpatialData - An R package 📦 making it easy to query, preview, download and preprocess multiple kinds of spatial data 🛰 via R

  •    R

getSpatialData is an R package in an early development stage that ultimately aims to provide homogeneous function bundles to query, download, prepare and transform various kinds of spatial datasets from open sources, e.g. Satellite sensor data, higher-level environmental data products etc. It supports both sf and sp classes as AOI inputs (see set_aoi in available functions). Due to the early development stage, the included functions and their concepts could be removed or changed in some cases. For all public functions documentation is available. See also the list of data sources that are or will be implemented.

exoplanets - :earth_americas: Provides access to NASA's Exoplanet Archive

  •    R

The goal of exoplanets is to provide access to NASA’s Exoplanet Archive TAP Service. The functionality of this package is minimal and is simply an R interface to access exoplanet data. At one time, this package used the Exoplanet Archive Application Programming Interface (API). Since then, a handful of tables have been transitioned to the Table Access Protocol (TAP) service. More tables will be transitioned to TAP and as such, this package only supports queries from TAP. For more information, you can read https://exoplanetarchive.ipac.caltech.edu/docs/exonews_archive.html#29April2021.
