The goal is to be a repo for the original Apollo 11 source code. As such, PRs are welcome for any issues identified between the transcriptions in this repository and the original source scans for Luminary 099 and Comanche 055, as well as any files I may have missed. cassini-tools - Some tools to help work with imagery and metadata from the Cassini space probe's ISS cameras

This uses Node, MySQL and some standard command line tools. Extra stuff requires ImageMagick (http://www.imagemagick.org/). The main tool in here is process_coiss.js a node script that will go through directories full of raw Cassini ISS data downloads and export a CSV file of all image metadata than can then be used to import into a database. This database can then be used to find, sort and query sequences of Cassini images. I've also included cassini_ISS_metadata.sql which is the code needed to create a MySQL table to import your CSV into.

For this Code Pattern, we will use data on Wildfires from NASA to predict the intensity of Wildfires, using Watson Studio Machine Learning. NASA provides data for various things, from weather and climate to solar flares and wildfire. This data is paid for by U.S. taxpayers and is free to use. The missing component is machine learning, which can take data and train a model to predict one of the features of the data set. For this example, we'll grab wildfire data and build a model that can predict intensity of the fire base on latitude and longitude.

getSpatialData is an R package in an early development stage that ultimately aims to provide homogeneous function bundles to query, download, prepare and transform various kinds of spatial datasets from open sources, e.g. Satellite sensor data, higher-level environmental data products etc. It supports both sf and sp classes as AOI inputs (see set_aoi in available functions). Due to the early development stage, the included functions and their concepts could be removed or changed in some cases. For all public functions documentation is available.
