express-gateway - A microservices API Gateway built on top of ExpressJS

  •    Javascript

Express Gateway is an API Gateway that sits at the heart of any microservices architecture, regardless of what language or platform you're using. Express Gateway secures your microservices and exposes them through APIs using Node.js, ExpressJS and Express middleware. Developing microservices, orchestrating and managing them now can be done insanely fast all on one seamless platform without having to introduce additional infrastructure. Express Gateway is commerically supported LunchBadger. For more information about support plans please contact info@express-gateway.io.

faygo - Faygo is a fast and concise Go Web framework that can be used to develop high-performance web app(especially API) with fewer codes

  •    Go

Faygo is a fast and concise Go Web framework that can be used to develop high-performance web app(especially API) with fewer codes. Just define a struct handler, faygo will automatically bind/verify the request parameters and generate the online API doc.

go-grpc-middleware - Golang gRPC Middlewares: interceptor chaining, auth, logging, retries and more.

  •    Go

gRPC Go Middleware: interceptors, helpers, utilities. gRPC Go recently acquired support for Interceptors, i.e. middleware that is executed either on the gRPC Server before the request is passed onto the user's application logic, or on the gRPC client either around the user call. It is a perfect way to implement common patterns: auth, logging, message, validation, retries or monitoring.

Kaa - Middleware platform for the Internet of Things

  •    Java

Kaa is a production-ready, multi-purpose middleware platform for building complete end-to-end IoT solutions, connected applications, and smart products. The Kaa platform provides an open, feature-rich toolkit for the IoT product development and thus dramatically reduces associated cost, risks, and time-to-market. For a quick start, Kaa offers a set of out-of-the-box enterprise-grade IoT features that can be easily plugged in and used to implement a large majority of the IoT use cases.

Hornetq - Enterprise messaging

  •    Java

HornetQ is the new ultra high performance enterprise grade messaging system from JBoss community. It is a multi-protocol, embeddable, very high performance, clustered, asynchronous messaging system. It offers server replication and automatic client failover to eliminate lost or duplicated messages in case of server failure. It also provides a comprehensive management API to manage & monitor servers.

Gaea - Gaea is a mysql proxy, it's developed by xiaomi b2c-systech team.

  •    Go

Gaea is a mysql proxy, it's developed by xiaomi b2c-systech team.

gziphandler - Golang middleware to gzip HTTP responses

  •    Go

This is a tiny Go package which wraps HTTP handlers to transparently gzip the response body, for clients which support it. Although it's usually simpler to leave that to a reverse proxy (like nginx or Varnish), this package is useful when that's undesirable. The docs can be found at godoc.org, as usual.

gongular - A different approach to Go web frameworks

  •    Go

gongular is an HTTP Server Framework for developing APIs easily. It is like Gin Gonic, but it features Angular-like (or Spring like) dependency injection and better input handling. Most of the time, user input must be transformed into a structured data then it must be validated. It takes too much time and is a repetitive work, gongular aims to reduce that complexity by providing request-input mapping with tag based validation.Note: gongular is an opinionated framework and it heavily relies on reflection to achieve these functionality. While there are tests to ensure it works flawlessly, I am open to contributions and opinions on how to make it better.

Fast-RTPS - Implementation of RTPS Standard

  •    C++

eprosima Fast RTPS is a C++ implementation of the RTPS (Real Time Publish Subscribe) protocol, which provides publisher-subscriber communications over unreliable transports such as UDP, as defined and maintained by the Object Management Group (OMG) consortium. RTPS is also the wire interoperability protocol defined for the Data Distribution Service (DDS) standard, again by the OMG. eProsima Fast RTPS holds the benefit of being standalone and up-to-date, as most vendor solutions either implement RTPS as a tool to implement DDS or use past versions of the specification. You can get either a binary distribution of eprosima Fast RTPS or compile the library yourself from source.

PSM

  •    DotNet

Open source Middleware purely based on .Net 4.0

faraday-http-cache - a faraday middleware that respects HTTP cache

  •    Ruby

a Faraday middleware that respects HTTP cache, by checking expiration and validation of the stored responses. The middleware accepts a store option for the cache backend responsible for recording the API responses that should be stored. Stores should respond to write, read and delete, just like an object from the ActiveSupport::Cache API.

nats.java - Java client for NATS

  •    Java

A Java client for the NATS messaging system. This is version 2.x of the java-nats library. This version is a ground up rewrite of the original library. Part of the goal of this re-write was to address the excessive use of threads, we created a Dispatcher construct to allow applications to control thread creation more intentionally. This version also removes all non-JDK runtime dependencies.

krakend - Ultra performant API Gateway with middlewares

  •    Go

Consumers of REST API content (specially in microservices) often query backend services that weren't coded for the UI implementation. This is of course a good practice, but the UI consumers need to do implementations that suffer a lot of complexity and burden with the sizes of their microservices responses.KrakenD is an API Gateway builder and proxy generator that sits between the client and all the source servers, adding a new layer that removes all the complexity to the clients, providing them only the information that the UI needs. KrakenD acts as an aggregator of many sources into single endpoints and allows you to group, wrap, transform and shrink responses. Additionally it supports a myriad of middelwares and plugins that allow you to extend the functionality, such as adding Oauth authorization or security layers.

go-tgbot - Pure Golang telegram bot API wrapper, session-based router and middleware

  •    Go

Pure Golang telegram bot API wrapper generated from swagger definition, session-based routing and middlewares.Since swagger covers many other platforms/technologies the same libraries could be generated for them too. See the source here - swagger.yaml.

client_ruby - Prometheus instrumentation library for Ruby applications

  •    Ruby

A suite of instrumentation metric primitives for Ruby that can be exposed through a HTTP interface. Intended to be used together with a Prometheus server. There are two Rack middlewares available, one to expose a metrics HTTP endpoint to be scraped by a Prometheus server (Exporter) and one to trace all HTTP requests (Collector).

mchain - A super tiny go package that handles middleware chaining in it's most minimal form

  •    Go

A super tiny go package that handles middleware chaining in it's most minimal form. That's about it. It's even simpler than the very neat alice package. However, the HttpChain provides no Append, Extend like methods. They are cleanly separated into a builder - HttpChainBuilder, that provides all the composition. So, now the Middlewares field is public, and HttpChain can be transparently passed around, cloned, extended at will.

node-chaos-monkeyware - Chaos Monkey implemented as Node.js Express-compatible middleware…

  •    Javascript

The Chaos Monkey is an idea originally outlined by the Netflix tech team. The basic idea is to have something in your stack that causes random failures in your system, so you’ll be forced to make your app resillient against random failure.
