vfuse - Convert bootable DMG images for use in VMware Fusion

This script takes a never-booted DMG and converts it to a VMware Fusion VM. The germ of this idea came about, as all good ideas, and germs, do: while drinking beer. Specifically, I was tossing back drinks and tossing around ideas with Gilbert Wilson, and he mentioned that he uses the VMware CLI tools to convert DMGs to VMDKs based on a blog post he'd read. Intrigued, I asked Gil to email me the specifics. After seeing how potentially cool this was, I wrapped it up in this here terribly illegible, queasingly unpythonic script.




munkiadmin - OS X GUI for managing Munki repositories

MunkiAdmin is a GUI for managing munki repositories. It is written with Objective-C and uses in-memory Core Data store as a backend. So what is munki and what are those munki repositories then? Well, munki is a set of tools that allow administrators to define managed installs for client machines. Repositories are served from a standard web server.

A Python script that takes various types of input and automatically outputs AutoPkg recipes. A native Mac app that puts a friendly face on the Python script and makes it as simple as dragging and dropping. You can download the latest version of the app here.

autopkgd - Continuous and concurrent autopkg checker with options.

Check autopkg recipes continuously(at a specified interval) and send notifications to a slack channel. See config.toml.sample for a sample configuration. autopkgd executes autopkg concurrently(separate process for each recipe in the recipe file). Because of this, autopkg must save each report plist in a separate file. You can specify a reports folder in the autopkgd config file.


moroz - Moroz is a Santa server

Moroz is a server for the Santa project. Santa is a binary whitelisting/blacklisting system for macOS. It consists of a kernel extension that monitors for executions, a userland daemon that makes execution decisions based on the contents of a SQLite database, a GUI agent that notifies the user in case of a block decision and a command-line utility for managing the system and synchronizing the database with a server.
