json - JSON for Modern C++

  •    C++

Intuitive syntax. In languages such as Python, JSON feels like a first class data type. We used all the operator magic of modern C++ to achieve the same feeling in your code. Check out the examples below and you'll know what I mean.Trivial integration. Our whole code consists of a single header file json.hpp. That's it. No library, no subproject, no dependencies, no complex build system. The class is written in vanilla C++11. All in all, everything should require no adjustment of your compiler flags or project settings.

crow - Crow is very fast and easy to use C++ micro web framework (inspired by Python Flask)

  •    C++

If you just want to use crow, copy amalgamate/crow_all.h and include it. Linking with tcmalloc/jemalloc is recommended for speed.

doctest - The fastest feature-rich C++11 single-header testing framework for unit tests and TDD

  •    C++

doctest is a new C++ testing framework but is by far the fastest both in compile times (by orders of magnitude) and runtime compared to other feature-rich alternatives. It brings the ability of compiled languages such as D / Rust / Nim to have tests written directly in the production code by providing a fast, transparent and flexible test runner with a clean interface. The framework is and will stay free but needs your support to sustain its development. There are lots of new features and maintenance to do. If you work for a company using doctest or have the means to do so, please consider financial support. Monthly donations via Patreon and one-offs via PayPal.

hana - Your standard library for metaprogramming

  •    C++

You can browse the documentation online at http://boostorg.github.io/hana. The documentation covers everything you should need including installing the library, a tutorial explaining what Hana is and how to use it, and an extensive reference section with examples. The remainder of this README is mostly for people that wish to work on the library itself, not for its users. After issuing this, doc/html will contain exactly the same static website that is available online. Note that doc/html is automatically ignored by Git so updating the documentation won't pollute your index.

Catch2 - C++ Automated Test Cases in a Header

  •    C++

Catch2 stands for C++ Automated Test Cases in a Header and is a multi-paradigm test framework for C++. which also supports Objective-C (and maybe C). It is primarily distributed as a single header file, although certain extensions may require additional headers.

cpp-taskflow - Fast C++ Parallel Programming with Task Dependency Graphs

  •    C++

A fast C++ header-only library to help you quickly build parallel programs with complex task dependencies. Cpp-Taskflow lets you quickly build parallel dependency graphs using modern C++17. It supports both static and dynamic tasking, and is by far faster, more expressive, and easier for drop-in integration than existing libraries.

PEGTL - Parsing Expression Grammar Template Library

  •    C++

The Parsing Expression Grammar Template Library (PEGTL) is a zero-dependency C++ header-only parser combinator library for creating parsers according to a Parsing Expression Grammar (PEG). Grammars are written as regular C++ code, created with template programming (not template meta programming), i.e. nested template instantiations that naturally correspond to the inductive definition of PEGs (and other parser-combinator approaches).

mio - Cross-platform C++11 header-only library for memory mapped file IO

  •    C++

An easy to use header-only cross-platform C++11 memory mapping library with an MIT license. mio has been created with the goal to be easily includable (i.e. no dependencies) in any C++ project that needs memory mapped file IO without the need to pull in Boost.

compile-time-regular-expressions - A Compile time PCRE (almost) compatible regular expression matcher

  •    C++

Fast compile-time regular expression with support for matching/searching/capturing in compile-time or runtime. You can use single header version from directory single-header. This header can be regenerated with make single-header.

FunctionalPlus - Functional Programming Library for C++. Write concise and readable C++ code.

  •    C++

helps you write concise and readable C++ code. Great code should mostly be self-documenting, but while using C++ in reality you can find yourself dealing with low-level stuff like iterators or hand-written loops that distract from the actual essence of your code.

inja - A Template Engine for Modern C++

  •    C++

If you are using the Meson Build System, then you can wrap this repository as a subproject. If you are using Conan to manage your dependencies, have a look at this repository. Please file issues here if you experience problems with the packages.

better-enums - C++ compile-time enum to string, iteration, in a single header file.

  •    C++

Reflective compile-time enum library with clean syntax, in a single header file, and without dependencies. In C++11, everything can be used at compile time. You can convert your enums, loop over them, find their max, statically enforce conventions, and pass along the results as template arguments or to constexpr functions. All the reflection is available for your metaprogramming needs.

GLM - OpenGL Mathematics (GLM)

  •    C++

OpenGL Mathematics (GLM) is a header only C++ mathematics library for graphics software based on the OpenGL Shading Language (GLSL) specifications. GLM provides classes and functions designed and implemented with the same naming conventions and functionality than GLSL so that anyone who knows GLSL, can use GLM as well in C++.

nameof - Nameof operator for modern C++, simply obtain the name of a variable, type, function, macro, and enum

  •    C++

Header-only C++17 library provides nameof macros and functions to simply obtain the name of a variable, type, function, macro, and enum. Nameof returns std::string_view. If argument does not have name, returns empty string.

plog - Portable, simple and extensible C++ logging library

  •    C++

Plog is a C++ logging library that is designed to be as simple, small and flexible as possible. It is created as an alternative to existing large libraries and provides some unique features as CSV log format and automatic 'this' pointer capture. To start using plog you need to make 3 simple steps.

librg - 🚀 Build simple and fast cross-platform multiplayer

  •    C

Many people think that implementing networking solution for your game project is the most complicated and time consuming task. We believe many people are afraid to even try, which results in the fact, that you almost never see small games made by indie developers having any type of networking involved. Thus we hope that with this library, which is just a small step in the direction, we might help anyone and everyone who wants to add a multi-player capabilities inside one's game.

  •    C++

Crow is a C++ microframework for running web services. It uses routing similar to Python's Flask which makes it easy to use. It is also extremely fast, beating multiple existing C++ frameworks as well as non C++ frameworks. Available here.

entt - Gaming meets modern C++ - a fast and reliable entity-component system (ECS) and much more

  •    C++

Consider it a work in progress. The whole API is also fully documented in-code for those who are brave enough to read it. Currently, EnTT is tested on Linux, Microsoft Windows and OS X. It has proven to work also on both Android and iOS. Most likely it will not be problematic on other systems as well, but has not been sufficiently tested so far.

uvw - Header-only, event based, tiny and easy to use libuv wrapper in modern C++

  •    C++

Sponsored and contributed by Cynny SpA. uvw is a header-only, event based, tiny and easy to use libuv wrapper in modern C++. The basic idea is to hide completely the C-ish interface of libuv behind a graceful C++ API. Currently, no uv_*_t data structure is actually exposed by the library. Note that uvw stays true to the API of libuv and it doesn't add anything to its interface. For the same reasons, users of the library must follow the same rules who are used to follow with libuv. As an example, a handle should be initialized before any other operation and closed once it is no longer in use.
