Guava - Google Core Libraries for Java

  •    Java

Guava is a set of core libraries that includes new collection types (such as multimap and multiset), immutable collections, a graph library, functional types, an in-memory cache, and APIs/utilities for concurrency, I/O, hashing, primitives, reflection, string processing, and much more.

navigo - A simple vanilla JavaScript router with a fallback for older browsers

  •    Javascript

A simple minimalistic JavaScript router with a fallback for older browsers. The constructor of the library accepts three argument - root, useHash and hash. The first one is the main URL of your application. If you call the constructor without parameters then Navigo figures out the root URL based on your routes. However, this proves to lead to bugs so I strongly recommend to set a root value.

Loki - Loki - Simple IOC and Incident Response Scanner

  •    Python

The Windows binary is compiled with PyInstaller 2.1 and should run as x86 application on both x86 and x64 based systems. Download the latest version of LOKI from the releases section.

hashids

  •    Javascript

A small JavaScript library to generate YouTube-like ids from numbers. Use it when you don't want to expose your database ids to the user.

hashids

  •    PHP

Require this package, with Composer, in the root directory of your project. Note: Hashids requires either the BC Math or GMP extension in order to work.

xxHash - Extremely fast non-cryptographic hash algorithm

  •    C

xxHash is an Extremely fast Hash algorithm, running at RAM speed limits. It successfully completes the SMHasher test suite which evaluates collision, dispersion and randomness qualities of hash functions. Code is highly portable, and hashes are identical on all platforms (little / big endian).Q.Score is a measure of quality of the hash function. It depends on successfully passing SMHasher test set. 10 is a perfect score. Algorithms with a score < 5 are not listed on this table.

imagehash - 🌄 Perceptual image hashing for PHP

  •    PHP

A perceptual hash is a fingerprint of a multimedia file derived from various features from its content. Unlike cryptographic hash functions which rely on the avalanche effect of small changes in input leading to drastic changes in the output, perceptual hashes are "close" to one another if the features are similar. Perceptual hashes are a different concept compared to cryptographic hash functions like MD5 and SHA1. With cryptographic hashes, the hash values are random. The data used to generate the hash acts like a random seed, so the same data will generate the same result, but different data will create different results. Comparing two SHA1 hash values really only tells you two things. If the hashes are different, then the data is different. And if the hashes are the same, then the data is likely the same. In contrast, perceptual hashes can be compared -- giving you a sense of similarity between the two data sets.

libchaos - Advanced library for randomization, hashing and statistical analysis (devoted to chaos machines)

  •    C++

sparsepp - A fast, memory efficient hash map for C++

  •    C++

We believe Sparsepp provides an unparalleled combination of performance and memory usage, and will outperform your compiler's unordered_map on both counts. Only Google's dense_hash_map is consistently faster, at the cost of much greater memory usage (especially when the final size of the map is not known in advance, and insertions cause a resizing). This hash map. like Google's dense_hash_map, uses open addressing (meaning that the hash table entries are conceptually stored in a big array, and collisions are not resolved using a linked list, but by probing). A big drawback of open addressing is that when the array needs to be resized larger, the high mark for memory usage is typically 3 times the current map size (as we allocate a new array twice as big as the current one, and copy from the old array to the new one). Sparsepp's implementation resolves this memory usage issue, and the memory usage high mark shows only a small bump when resizing.

OpenPGP.js - OpenPGP implementation for JavaScript

  •    Javascript

OpenPGP.js is a JavaScript implementation of the OpenPGP protocol. It aims to provide an Open Source OpenPGP library in JavaScript so it can be used on virtually every device. This does not require gpg on their machines in order to use the library. The idea is to implement all the needed OpenPGP functionality in a JavaScript library that can be reused in other projects that provide browser extensions or server applications. It should allow you to sign, encrypt, decrypt, and verify any kind of text - in particular e-mails - as well as managing keys.

NaCL - Networking and Crytography library

  •    C

NaCl is a new easy-to-use high-speed software library for network communication, encryption, decryption, signatures, etc. NaCl provides a simple crypto_box function that does everything in one step. The function takes the sender's secret key, the recipient's public key, and a message, and produces an authenticated ciphertext.

tweetnacl-js - Port of TweetNaCl cryptographic library to JavaScript

  •    Javascript

Port of TweetNaCl / NaCl to JavaScript for modern browsers and Node.js. Public domain. The primary goal of this project is to produce a translation of TweetNaCl to JavaScript which is as close as possible to the original C implementation, plus a thin layer of idiomatic high-level API on top of it.

Hasher - Browser history manager for rich media websites

  •    Javascript

Hasher is a set of JavaScript functions to control browser history for rich-media websites and applications. It works as an abstraction of browsers native methods plus some extra helper methods, it also has the advantage of dispatching Events when the history state change across multiple browsers (since this feature isn't supported by all of them).IMPORTANT: signals.js should be included before hasher.js.

hasha - Hashing made simple. Get the hash of a buffer/string/stream/file.

  •    Javascript

Hashing made simple. Get the hash of a buffer/string/stream/file.Convenience wrapper around the core crypto Hash class with simpler API and better defaults.

Chroma-Hash - A sexy, secure live visualization of password field input

  •    Javascript

Password entry can be frustrating, especially with long or difficult passwords. On a webpage, secure fields obscure your input with •'s, so others can't read it. Unfortunately, neither can you—you can't tell if you got your password right until you click "Log In". Chroma-Hash displays a series of colored bars at the end of field inputs so you can instantly see if your password is right. Chroma-Hash takes an MD5 hash of your input and uses that to compute the colors in the visualization. The resulting color pattern is non-reversible, so no one could know what your password just from the colors.
