spreadsheet - The Ruby Spreadsheet by ywesee GmbH

  •    Ruby

The Spreadsheet Library is designed to read and write Spreadsheet Documents. As of version 0.6.0, only Microsoft Excel compatible spreadsheets are supported. Spreadsheet is a combination/complete rewrite of the Spreadsheet::Excel Library by Daniel J. Berger and the ParseExcel Library by Hannes Wyss. Spreadsheet can read, write and modify Spreadsheet Documents. Alfred: a@boxbot.org: I think it should be noted in the README file that the library doesn't recognize cell formats in Excel created documents, which results in Floats returned for any number.

winfsp - Windows File System Proxy - FUSE for Windows

  •    C

WinFsp is a set of software components for Windows computers that allows the creation of user mode file systems. In this sense it is similar to FUSE (Filesystem in Userspace), which provides the same functionality on UNIX-like computers. WinFsp is very stable. There are no known kernel mode crashes and it does not suffer from resource leaks or similar problems. WinFsp owes this stability to its Design and its rigorous Testing Regime.

red-moon - An android screen filter app for night time phone use

  •    Kotlin

Blue light may suppress the production of melatonin, the sleep hormone. Red Moon filters out blue light and dims your screen below the normal minimum, so you can use your phone comfortably at night. Screenshots are slightly out of date.

winspd - Windows Storage Proxy Driver - User mode disk storage

  •    C

WinSpd enables the creation of storage units ("SCSI disks") in user mode (i.e. without writing any kernel mode code). Such storage units are created and served by user mode storage devices (i.e. user mode processes) and are added to the Windows OS storage stack. They appear to Windows as real disks that can be formatted and accessed via a file system such as NTFS. A user mode storage device is a user mode process that can create and serve storage units. As storage unit is a SCSI "direct-access block device" (as per the definition in the SCSI SBC standard) or more commonly referred to as a "SCSI disk". It is used to store data in logical blocks; each block contains the same amount of data (the Block Length) and has a Logical Block Address (LBA), which is a 64-bit number in a single contiguous address space. In particular WinSpd (and the SCSI standard) do not assume the traditional geometry of cylinder-head-sector (CHS) for how blocks are laid out.

bitwrk - Bitcoin-fueled Peer-to-Peer Blender Rendering (and more)

  •    Go

Artists use Blender, a powerful yet free 3D software, to create impressive pictures and movies. This a requires a time-consuming, and costly, production step called rendering.BitWrk integrates with Blender and makes rendering much quicker by dispatching it to a swarm of computers.

GPLv3.md - GPLv3 in Markdown.

akvo-flow-mobile - Akvo Flow app

  •    Java

The Akvo Flow app is the mobile application for the Akvo Flow data collection tool. Akvo Flow was built specially for international development teams to monitor and evaluate initiatives while working in diverse locations that are often remote or lacking reliable basic infrastructure. It is designed for people who want to understand what is happening now, so they can make informed decisions that lead to secure, sustainable development aid investments.

sitepod - A Sitemap Generator written in PHP

  •    Haskell

PortFusion is a minimalistic, cross-platform, transport-layer distributed reverse / forward proxy and tunneling solution for TCP released under GPLv3. A single package that makes the most of each platform by tapping into their unique capabilities, combining this power with an intuitive interface, beautiful design and Haskell's excellent support for unprecedented levels of concurrency and parallelism.

tubeup - Download a video using youtube-dl and upload to the Internet Archive with metadata.

Alchemy - An open drawing project

  •    HTML

This repository is for archival purposes. Alchemy is an open drawing project aimed at exploring how we can sketch, draw, and create on computers in new ways. Alchemy isn’t software for creating finished artwork, but rather a sketching environment that focuses on the absolute initial stage of the creation process. Experimental in nature, Alchemy lets you brainstorm visually to explore an expanded range of ideas and possibilities in a serendipitous way.

weakforced - Anti-Abuse for servers at authentication time

  •    C++

The goal of 'wforce' is to detect brute forcing of passwords across many servers, services and instances. In order to support the real world, brute force detection policy can be tailored to deal with "bulk, but legitimate" users of your service, as well as botnet-wide slowscans of passwords. The aim is to support the largest of installations, providing services to hundreds of millions of users. The current version of weakforced is not quite there yet, although it certainly scales to support up to ten million users, if not more. The limiting factor is number of logins per second at peak.

dblclockfft - A configurable C++ generator of pipelined Verilog FFT cores

  •    C++

One sample in per clock, with the i_ce line being high for every incoming sample--up to one sample per clock. There's also options to run with at least one clock between samples, or even two clocks between samples (or more). This mode uses 3, 2, or 1 multiplies per FFT stage respectively. Eventually, I want to support a real FFT mode which will accept real samples input, and alternately produce real and imaginary samples output--or the converse for the inverse FFT.

dspfilters - A collection of demonstration digital filters

  •    Verilog

A description (and implementation of) the two simplest filters I know of.

vgasim - A Video display simulator

  •    Verilog

This repository contains a Video Controller. This controller includes not only the low-level framer, but also a bus controller to read values from memory to then be displayed on the screen. This is the basis of a frame buffer approach to video. This capability is fully demonstrated via the Verilator based simulator.

wb2axip - A pipelined wishbone to AXI converter

  •    Verilog

Since the initial build of the core, I've added the WB to AXI lite bridge. This is also a pipelined bridge, and like the original one it is also formally verified. Since the project began, a full-fledged AXI4 to Wishbone bridge has been added to the project. This converter handles synchronizing the write channels, turning AXI read/write requests into pipeline wishbone requests, maintaining the AXI ID fields, etc. It ignores the AXI xSIZE, xLOCK, xCACHE, xPROT, and xQOS fields. It supports xBURST types of FIXED (2'b00) and INCR (2'b01), but not WRAP (2'b10) or reserved (2'b11). It does not (yet) support bridging between busses of different widths, so both the AXI and the WB bus must have the same width.
