openpgpjs - OpenPGP implementation for JavaScript

This project aims to provide an Open Source OpenPGP library in JavaScript so it can be used on virtually every device. This does not require gpg on their machines in order to use the library. The idea is to implement all the needed OpenPGP functionality in a JavaScript library that can be reused in other projects that provide browser extensions or server applications. It should allow you to sign, encrypt, decrypt, and verify any kind of text - in particular e-mails - as well as managing keys.

trousseau - File based encrypted key-value store

Trousseau is an encrypted key-value store designed to be a simple, safe and trustworthy place for your data. It stores data in a single encrypted file. It supports both asymetric encryption using OpenPGP, and symmetric encryption using AES256. It can be easily synced across devices using Dropbox, OneDrive... It can be exported and imported to/from multiple remote storages using integrated S3, ssh, and gist support. If used with OpenPGP encryption, it is able to restrict access to the data store to a set of recipients.

libtomcrypt - LibTomCrypt is a fairly comprehensive, modular and portable cryptographic toolkit that provides developers with a vast array of well known published block ciphers, one-way hash functions, chaining modes, pseudo-random number generators, public key cryptography and a plethora of other routines

Previously the git repository contained doc/crypt.pdf for detailed documentation. This was changed and the file is now only available from the tarball of the appropriate version or from the page https://github.com/libtom/libtomcrypt/releases . Please branch off from develop if you want to submit a patch.

git-secret - :busts_in_silhouette: A bash-tool to store your private data inside a git repository.

git-secret is a bash tool which stores private data inside a git repo. git-secret encrypts tracked files with public keys for users whom you trust using gpg, allowing permitted users to access encrypted data using their secret keys. With git-secret, changes to access rights are made easy and private-public key issues are handled for you. Passwords do not need to be changed with git-secret when someone's permission is revoked - just remove their key from the keychain using git secret killperson their@email.com, and re-encrypt the files, and they won't be able to decrypt secrets anymore. It also supports apt and yum. You can also use make if you want to. See the installation section for the details.

sjcl - Stanford Javascript Crypto Library

The Stanford Javascript Crypto Library is a project by the Stanford Computer Security Lab to build a secure, powerful, fast, small, easy-to-use, cross-browser library for cryptography in Javascript. SJCL is secure. It uses the industry-standard AES algorithm at 128, 192 or 256 bits; the SHA256 hash function; the HMAC authentication code; the PBKDF2 password strengthener; and the CCM and OCB authenticated-encryption modes.

algo - Set up a personal IPSEC VPN in the cloud

Algo VPN is a set of Ansible scripts that simplify the setup of a personal IPSEC VPN. It uses the most secure defaults available, works with common cloud providers, and does not require client software on most devices. See our release announcement for more information.
