Sia - Your decentralized private cloud

  •    Go

Sia is a new decentralized cloud storage platform that radically alters the landscape of cloud storage. By leveraging smart contracts, client-side encryption, and sophisticated redundancy (via Reed-Solomon codes), Sia allows users to safely store their data with hosts that they do not know or trust. The result is a cloud storage marketplace where hosts compete to offer the best service at the lowest price. And since there is no barrier to entry for hosts, anyone with spare storage capacity can join the network and start making money.

google-cloud-go - Google Cloud Client Libraries for Go

  •    Go

Go packages for Google Cloud Platform services.NOTE: Some of these packages are under development, and may occasionally make backwards-incompatible changes.

goofys - a high-performance, POSIX-ish Amazon S3 file system written in Go

  •    Go

Goofys allows you to mount an S3 bucket as a filey system. It's a Filey System instead of a File System because goofys strives for performance first and POSIX second. Particularly things that are difficult to support on S3 or would translate into more than one round-trip would either fail (random writes) or faked (no per-file permission). Goofys does not have a on disk data cache (checkout catfs), and consistency model is close-to-open.

s3git - s3git: git for Cloud Storage

  •    Go

s3git is a simple CLI tool that allows you to create a distributed, decentralized and versioned repository. It scales limitlessly to 100s of millions of files and PBs of storage and stores your data safely in S3. Yet huge repos can be cloned on the SSD of your laptop for making local changes, committing and pushing back. Exactly like git, s3git does not require any server-side components, just download and run the executable. It imports the golang package s3git-go that can be used from other applications as well. Or see the Python module or Ruby gem.

cloudserver - Zenko CloudServer, an open-source Node

  •    Javascript

CloudServer (formerly S3 Server) is an open-source Amazon S3-compatible object storage server that is part of Zenko, Scality’s Open Source Multi-Cloud Data Controller. CloudServer provides a single AWS S3 API interface to access multiple backend data storage both on-premise or public in the cloud.

Minio - Open source object storage server compatible with Amazon S3 APIs

  •    Go

Minio is an object storage server released under Apache License v2.0. It is compatible with Amazon S3 cloud storage service. It is best suited for storing unstructured data such as photos, videos, log files, backups and container / VM images. Size of an object can range from a few KBs to a maximum of 5TB.Minio server is light enough to be bundled with the application stack, similar to NodeJS, Redis and MySQL.

S3 - Node.js implementation of a server handling the Amazon S3 protocol

droppy - Self-hosted file storage

  •    Javascript

droppy is a self-hosted file storage server with a web interface and capabilities to edit files and view media directly in the browser. It is particularly well-suited to be run on low-end hardware like the Raspberry Pi. droppy maintains a in-memory representation of the files directory. If you're on slow storage and/or serving 100k or more files, the initial indexing on startup will likely take some time.

Apache Libcloud - Standard Python library that abstracts away differences among multiple cloud provi

hubzilla - build community websites that can interact with one another

  •    PHP

Hubzilla is a general purpose communication server integrated with a web publishing system and a decentralised permission system. If this sounds like a bunch of technical mumbo-jumbo to you, just think of it as an independent platform for sharing stuff online (publicly or privately). Hubzilla contains some social network bits, some cloud storage bits, some blog and forum bits, and some content management bits. These are all integrated within a common privacy framework - and it is all decentralised.

svfs - The Swift Virtual File System

  •    Go

SVFS is a Virtual File System over Openstack Swift built upon fuse. It is compatible with hubiC, OVH Public Cloud Storage and basically every endpoint using a standard Openstack Swift setup. It brings a layer of abstraction over object storage, making it as accessible and convenient as a filesystem, without being intrusive on the way your data is stored. This is not an official project of the Openstack community.
