netdata - Get control of your servers. Simple. Effective. Awesome! https://my-netdata.io/

  •    C

netdata is a system for distributed real-time performance and health monitoring. It provides unparalleled insights, in real-time, of everything happening on the system it runs (including applications such as web and database servers), using modern interactive web dashboards.netdata is fast and efficient, designed to permanently run on all systems (physical & virtual servers, containers, IoT devices), without disrupting their core function.

BenchmarkDotNet - Powerful .NET library for benchmarking

  •    CSharp

BenchmarkDotNet is a powerful .NET library for benchmarking.Benchmarking is really hard (especially microbenchmarking), you can easily make a mistake during performance measurements. BenchmarkDotNet will protect you from the common pitfalls (even for experienced developers) because it does all the dirty work for you: it generates an isolated project per each benchmark method, does several launches of this project, run multiple iterations of the method (include warm-up), and so on. Usually, you even shouldn't care about a number of iterations because BenchmarkDotNet chooses it automatically to achieve the requested level of precision.

huststore - High-performance Distributed Storage

  •    C

huststore is a open source high performance distributed database system. It not only provides key-value storage service with extremely high performance, up to 100 thousand QPS, but also supports data structures like hash, set, sorted set, etc. Also, it can store binary data as value from a key-value pair, and thus can be used as an alternative of Redis. In addtion, huststore implements a distributed message queue by integrating a special HA module, features including message Push Stream, and message Publish-SubScribe, these features can be used as replacements of the corresponding features in rabbitmq and gearman.

jmeter - Mirror of Apache JMeter

  •    Java

Apache JMeter may be used to test performance both on static and dynamic resources, Web dynamic applications. It can be used to simulate a heavy load on a server, group of servers, network or object to test its strength or to analyze overall performance under different load types.Full featured Test IDE that allows fast Test Plan recording (from Browsers or native applications), building and debugging.

thor - The WebSocket god of thunder

  •    Javascript

Thor is WebSocket benchmarking/load generator. There are a lot of benchmarking tools for HTTP servers. You've got ab, siege, wrk and more. But all these tools only work with plain ol HTTP and have no support for WebSockets - even if they did they wouldn't be suitable, as they would be testing short running HTTP requests instead of long running HTTP requests with a lot of messaging traffic. Thor fixes all of this. Thor requires Node.js to be installed on your system. If you don't have Node.js installed you can download it from http://nodejs.org or build it from the github source repository: http://github.com/joyent/node.

php-framework-benchmark - PHP Framework Benchmark

  •    PHP

This project attempts to measure minimum overhead (minimum bootstrap cost) of PHP frameworks in the real world. Components like Template engine or ORM/Database libraries are out of scope in this project.

hyperfine - A command-line benchmarking tool

  •    Rust

A command-line benchmarking tool (inspired by bench). If the program execution time is limited by disk I/O, the benchmarking results can be heavily influenced by disk caches and whether they are cold or warm.

sysbench - Scriptable database and system performance benchmark

  •    C

sysbench is a scriptable multi-threaded benchmark tool based on LuaJIT. It is most frequently used for database benchmarks, but can also be used to create arbitrarily complex workloads that do not involve a database server. The easiest way to download and install sysbench on Linux is using binary package repositories hosted by packagecloud. The repositories are automatically updated on each sysbench release. Currently x86_64, i386 and aarch64 binaries are available.

FrameworkBenchmarks - Source for the TechEmpower Framework Benchmarks project

  •    PHP

This project provides representative performance measures across a wide field of web application frameworks. With much help from the community, coverage is quite broad and we are happy to broaden it further with contributions. The project presently includes frameworks on many languages including Go, Python, Java, Ruby, PHP, C#, Clojure, Groovy, Dart, JavaScript, Erlang, Haskell, Scala, Perl, Lua, C, and others. The current tests exercise plaintext responses, JSON seralization, database reads and writes via the object-relational mapper (ORM), collections, sorting, server-side templates, and XSS counter-measures. Future tests will exercise other components and greater computation. Read more and see the results of our tests on cloud and physical hardware. For descriptions of the test types that we run, see the test requirements section.

fashion-mnist - A MNIST-like fashion product database. Benchmark :point_right:

  •    Python

Fashion-MNIST is a dataset of Zalando's article images—consisting of a training set of 60,000 examples and a test set of 10,000 examples. Each example is a 28x28 grayscale image, associated with a label from 10 classes. We intend Fashion-MNIST to serve as a direct drop-in replacement for the original MNIST dataset for benchmarking machine learning algorithms. It shares the same image size and structure of training and testing splits.

JMH - Java Micro Benchmarking Tool

  •    Java

JMH is a Java harness for building, running, and analysing nano/micro/milli/macro benchmarks written in Java and other languages targetting the JVM.

go-web-framework-benchmark - :zap: Go web framework benchmark

  •    Go

This benchmark suite aims to compare the performance of Go web frameworks. It is inspired by Go HTTP Router Benchmark but this benchmark suite is different with that. Go HTTP Router Benchmark suit aims to compare the performance of routers but this Benchmark suit aims to compare whole HTTP request processing.

ann-benchmarks - Benchmarks of approximate nearest neighbor libraries in Python

  •    Python

Doing fast searching of nearest neighbors in high dimensional spaces is an increasingly important problem, but so far there has not been a lot of empirical attempts at comparing approaches in an objective way. This project contains some tools to benchmark various implementations of approximate nearest neighbor (ANN) search for different metrics. We have pregenerated datasets (in HDF5) formats and we also have Docker containers for each algorithm. There's a test suite that makes sure every algorithm works.

caffenet-benchmark - Evaluation of the CNN design choices performance on ImageNet-2012.

  •    Jupyter

Welcome to evaluation of CNN design choises performance on ImageNet-2012. Here you can find prototxt's of tested nets and full train logs. **upd2.: Some of the pretrained models are in Releases section. They are licensed for unrestricted use.

Attabench - Microbenchmarking app for Swift with nice log-log plots

  •    Swift

Attabench is a microbenchmarking app for macOS, designed to measure and visualize the performance of Swift code. This app is for microbenchmarking low-level algorithms with one degree of freedom (usually size). It works by repeatedly performing the same operation on random data of various sizes, while continuously charting the results in nice plots. Attabench's default log-log plots are ideal for seeing your algorithm's performance at a glance.

PolePosition - the open source database benchmark

  •    Java

A fully automated database benchmark suite that prints tabular and graphic results for multiple tested disciplines, given JDBC database connections. Some free open source database engines are included.
