bitcoin-android - Send and receive bitcoins from your Android phone!

NOTE: This app is no longer supported or under development. Please visit Coinbase.com for the latest (this is my full time project going forward). The app below was an early experiment in bitcoin, and it had some limitations since it was operating a full bitcoin client on the mobile device (which used lots of storage, bandwidth, and CPU - took too long to sync with the blockchain). My future mobile apps will make use of the Coinbase API so that the heavy lifting can be done in the cloud while the mobile device acts as a thin client.Note that this app is still under development and may lose your coins! Test it with small amounts.

Usergrid - The BaaS Framework you run

Usergrid is an open-source Backend-as-a-Service (“BaaS” or “mBaaS”) composed of an integrated distributed NoSQL database, application layer and client tier with SDKs for developers looking to rapidly build web and/or mobile applications. It provides elementary services (user registration & management, data storage, file storage, queues) and retrieval features (full text search, geolocation search, joins) to power common app features.

Sia - Your decentralized private cloud

Sia is a new decentralized cloud storage platform that radically alters the landscape of cloud storage. By leveraging smart contracts, client-side encryption, and sophisticated redundancy (via Reed-Solomon codes), Sia allows users to safely store their data with hosts that they do not know or trust. The result is a cloud storage marketplace where hosts compete to offer the best service at the lowest price. And since there is no barrier to entry for hosts, anyone with spare storage capacity can join the network and start making money.

code-push - A cloud service that enables Cordova and React Native developers to deploy mobile app updates directly to their users’ devices

CodePush is a cloud service that enables Cordova and React Native developers to deploy mobile app updates directly to their users' devices. It works by acting as a central repository that developers can publish updates to (JS, HTML, CSS and images), and that apps can query for updates from (using provided client SDKs for Cordova and React Native). This allows you to have a more deterministic and direct engagement model with your userbase, when addressing bugs and/or adding small features that don't require you to re-build a binary and re-distribute it through the respective app stores. This repo includes the management CLI and Node.js management SDK, which allows you to manage and automate the needs of your Cordova and React Native apps. To get started using CodePush, refer to our documentation, otherwise, read the following steps if you'd like to build/contribute to the project from source.

gcm - Google Cloud Messaging - client libraries and sample implementations

Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) is a service that lets developers send data from servers to users' devices, and receive messages from devices on the same connection. The service provides a simple, lightweight mechanism that servers can use to tell mobile applications to contact the server directly to fetch updated application user data. The GCM service handles all aspects of queueing of messages and delivery to client applications running on target devices. This project contains client libraries and samples to help developers interface with and explore the Google Cloud Messaging APIs.
