esp_wifi_repeater - A full functional WiFi Repeater (correctly: a WiFi NAT Router)

  •    C

This is an implementation of a WiFi NAT router on the esp8266 and esp8285. It also includes support for a packet filtering firewall with ACLs, port mapping, traffic shaping, hooks for remote monitoring (or packet sniffing), an MQTT management interface, and power management. For a setup with multiple routers in a mesh to cover a larger area a new mode "Automesh" has been included https://github.com/martin-ger/esp_wifi_repeater#automesh-mode . NEW feature: OTA update support - see https://github.com/martin-ger/esp_wifi_repeater#ota-over-the-air-update-support .

portal - Personal Onion Router To Assure Liberty

  •

PORTAL is a project that aims to keep people out of jail. It is a dedicated hardware device (a router) which forces all internet traffic to be sent over the Tor network. This significantly increases the odds of using Tor effectively, and reduces the potential to make fatal mistakes. There are two ways to construct a PORTAL: using a chipped router (recommended), or using "the /overlay trick". Using a modified router (with sufficient onboard flash) provides the most flexibility for internet connectivity (either WiFi or 3G) as well as ensuring that the Tor process has sufficient RAM to run. A chipped router provides the best overall experience. The /overlay trick enables a stock router to union mount a microSD card for additional storage space. This allows for multiple microSD cards to provide different configurations (also possible with a chipped router), but has the downside of requiring a 3G modem with onboard microSD slot.

raspap-webgui - A simple, responsive web interface to control wifi and hostapd on the Raspberry Pi

  •    PHP

A simple, responsive web interface to control wifi, hostapd and related services on the Raspberry Pi. This project was inspired by a blog post by SirLagz about using a web page rather than ssh to configure wifi and hostapd settings on the Raspberry Pi. I mostly just prettified the UI by wrapping it in SB Admin 2, a Bootstrap based admin theme. Since then, the project has evolved to include greater control over many aspects of a networked RPi, better security, authentication, a Quick Installer, support for themes and more. RaspAP has been featured on sites such as Instructables, Adafruit, Raspberry Pi Weekly and Awesome Raspberry Pi and implemented in countless projects.

Bobril - Component oriented framework inspired by Mithril and ReactJs (already usable)

  •    TypeScript

Component oriented framework inspired by ReactJs (Virtual DOM, components with state) and Mithril (small size, more complete framework). Compared to ReactJS Added speeeed, autoprefixer, CSS in JS, router, additional livecycle methods, only rAF based repaint. Bobril ignores Isomorphic JavaScript, because it would increase size and is not needed for SEO anyway (Google bot supports JavaScript). Client applications are expected to be written in TypeScript. Because it is heavily used in production, backward compatibility is king. Any new feature must be optional or its perceived value to minified size ratio must be high enough. It is intended to be used with bobril-build.

nexmon - The C-based Firmware Patching Framework for Broadcom/Cypress WiFi Chips that enables Monitor Mode, Frame Injection and much more

  •    C

Nexmon is our C-based firmware patching framework for Broadcom/Cypress WiFi chips that enables you to write your own firmware patches, for example, to enable monitor mode with radiotap headers and frame injection. Before we started to work on this repository, we developed patches for the Nexus 5 (with bcm4339 WiFi chip) in the bcm-public repository and those for the Raspberry Pi 3 (with bcm43430a1 WiFi chip) in the bcm-rpi3 repository. To remove the development overhead of maintaining multiple separate repositories, we decided to merge them in this repository and add support for some additional devices. In contrast to the former repositories, here, you can only build the firmware patch without drivers and kernels. The Raspberry Pi 3 makes an exception, as here it is always required to also build the driver.

Calico - A pure layer 3 approach for Virtual Networking for highly scalable data centers

  •    Python

Project Calico represents a new approach to virtual networking, based on the same scalable IP networking principles as the Internet. Unlike other virtual networking approaches, Calico does not use overlays, instead providing a pure Layer 3 approach to data center networking. Calico is simple to deploy and diagnose, provides a rich security policy, supports both IPv4 and IPv6 and can be used across a combination of bare-metal, VM and container workloads.

lars - :rotating_light: Is a lightweight, fast and extensible zero allocation HTTP router for Go used to create customizable frameworks

  •    Go

Have you ever been painted into a corner by a framework, ya me too! and I've noticed that allot of routers out there, IMHO, are adding so much functionality that they are turning into Web Frameworks, (which is fine, frameworks are important) however, not at the expense of flexibility and configurability. So with no further ado, introducing LARS an HTTP router that can be your launching pad in creating a framework for your needs. How? Context is an interface see example here, where you can add as little or much as you want or need and most importantly...under your control.Note: Since this router has only explicit matches, you can not register static routes and parameters for the same path segment. For example you can not register the patterns /user/new and /user/:user for the same request method at the same time. The routing of different request methods is independent from each other. I was initially against this, and this router allowed it in a previous version, however it nearly cost me in a big app where the dynamic param value say :type actually could have matched another static route and that's just too dangerous, so it is no longer allowed.
