PORTAL is a project that aims to keep people out of jail. It is a dedicated hardware device (a router) which forces all internet traffic to be sent over the Tor network. This significantly increases the odds of using Tor effectively, and reduces the potential to make fatal mistakes. There are two ways to construct a PORTAL: using a chipped router (recommended), or using "the /overlay trick". Using a modified router (with sufficient onboard flash) provides the most flexibility for internet connectivity (either WiFi or 3G) as well as ensuring that the Tor process has sufficient RAM to run. A chipped router provides the best overall experience. The /overlay trick enables a stock router to union mount a microSD card for additional storage space. This allows for multiple microSD cards to provide different configurations (also possible with a chipped router), but has the downside of requiring a 3G modem with onboard microSD slot.

Nexmon is our C-based firmware patching framework for Broadcom/Cypress WiFi chips that enables you to write your own firmware patches, for example, to enable monitor mode with radiotap headers and frame injection. Before we started to work on this repository, we developed patches for the Nexus 5 (with bcm4339 WiFi chip) in the bcm-public repository and those for the Raspberry Pi 3 (with bcm43430a1 WiFi chip) in the bcm-rpi3 repository. To remove the development overhead of maintaining multiple separate repositories, we decided to merge them in this repository and add support for some additional devices. In contrast to the former repositories, here, you can only build the firmware patch without drivers and kernels. The Raspberry Pi 3 makes an exception, as here it is always required to also build the driver.

So with no further ado, introducing LARS an HTTP router that can be your launching pad in creating a framework for your needs. How? Context is an interface see example here, where you can add as little or much as you want or need and most importantly...under your control.Note: Since this router has only explicit matches, you can not register static routes and parameters for the same path segment. For example you can not register the patterns /user/new and /user/:user for the same request method at the same time. The routing of different request methods is independent from each other. I was initially against this, and this router allowed it in a previous version, however it nearly cost me in a big app where the dynamic param value say :type actually could have matched another static route and that's just too dangerous, so it is no longer allowed.
