proxy-scrape - scrapin' proxies with ocr

  •        41

The TorVPN proxy list is no longer populating as of July 2018, therefore this tool is defunct. If you're looking for a decent free proxy list check out a2u/free-proxy-list. This is a command-line tool to scrape the TorVPN proxy list for use with proxychains. TorVPN's proxy list uses images to list IP addresses (likely to avoid scrapers), this tool uses Tesseract OCR via the pytesseract wrapper for optical character recognition and ImageMagick for image manipulation.

docker-onion-nmap - Scan

  •    Shell

Use nmap to scan hidden "onion" services on the Tor network. Minimal image based on alpine, using proxychains to wrap nmap. Tor and dnsmasq are run as daemons via s6, and proxychains wraps nmap to use the Tor SOCKS proxy on port 9050. Tor is also configured via DNSPort to anonymously resolve DNS requests to port 9053. dnsmasq is configured to with this localhost:9053 as an authority DNS server. Proxychains is configured to proxy DNS through the local resolver, so all DNS requests will go through Tor and applications can resolve .onion addresses. When the container boots, it launches Tor and dnsmasq as daemons. The tor_wait script then waits for the Tor SOCKS proxy to be up before executing your command.

proxychains - proxychains - a tool that forces any TCP connection made by any given application to follow through proxy like TOR or any other SOCKS4, SOCKS5 or HTTP(S) proxy

  •    C

ProxyChains is a UNIX program, that hooks network-related libc functions in dynamically linked programs via a preloaded DLL and redirects the connections through SOCKS4a/5 or HTTP proxies. this means that you can’t currently use tor onion urls for irssi. to solve this issue, an external data store (file, pipe, …‚Äč) has to manage the dns <→ ip mapping. of course there has to be proper locking. shm_open, mkstemp, are possible candidates for a file based approach, the other option is to spawn some kind of server process that manages the map lookups. since connect() etc are hooked, this must not be a TCP server.

fetch-some-proxies - Simple Python script for fetching "some" (usable) proxies

  •    Python

Simple Python script for fetching "some" (usable) proxies. It fetches (daily) list of public proxies and automatically finds in a quick manner those usable in that same moment (Note: testing of SOCKS proxies is currently possible only on non-Windows platforms). Why should you use it? Well, if you've ever used free proxy lists around you'll know the pain of finding actually working proxies. This tool will automatically do the list fetching and proxy testing for you.

proxy-lists - Node.js module for getting proxies from publicly available proxy lists.

elite-proxy-finder - Finds public elite anonymity proxies and concurrently tests them

  •    Python

This script was not working for a few months. I just fixed it 7/6/15. Only uses gatherproxy.com now. Finds elite anonymity (L1) HTTP proxies then tests them all in parallel. Tests each proxy against 3 IP checking URLs including one which is HTTPS to make sure it can handle HTTPS requests. Then checks the proxy headers to confirm it's an elite L1 proxy that will not leak any extra info. By default the script will only print the proxy IP, request time, and country code of proxies that pass all four tests but you can see all the results including errors in any of the tests with the -a (--all) option.

pappy-proxy - An intercepting proxy for web application testing

  •    Python

The Pappy (Proxy Attack Proxy ProxY) Proxy is an intercepting proxy for performing web application security testing. Its features are often similar, or straight up rippoffs from Burp Suite. However, Burp Suite is neither open source nor a command line tool, thus making a proxy like Pappy inevitable. I am taking any and all feature requests. If you've used Burp and had any inconvenience with it, tell me about it and I'll do everything in my power to make sure Pappy doesn't have those issues. Or even better, if you want Burp to do something that it doesn't already, let me know so that I can use it to stomp them into the dust improve my project.

proxy-polyfill - Proxy object polyfill

  •    Javascript

This is a polyfill for the Proxy object, part of ES6. See the MDN docs or Introducing ES2015 Proxies for more information on Proxy itself. Unlike other polyfills, this does not require Object.observe, which is deprecated. The polyfill supports just a limited number of proxy 'traps'. It also works by calling seal on the object passed to Proxy. This means that the properties you want to proxy must be known at creation time.

negative-array - Negative array index support `array[-1]` using ES2015 Proxy

  •    Javascript

JavaScript doesn't natively support the use of a negative index to get items backwards from the end, but with ES2015 Proxy it's possible. Take a look at the source to see how simple it is to implement and read this short article about it.Proxies are objects for which the programmer has to define the semantics in JavaScript. The default object semantics are implemented in the JavaScript engine, often written in lower-level languages like C++. Proxies let the programmer define most of the behavior of an object in JavaScript. They are said to provide a meta-programming API.
