i3status - Generates status bar to use with i3bar, dzen2 or xmobar

  •    C

i3status is a small program for generating a status bar for i3bar, dzen2, xmobar or similar programs. It is designed to be very efficient by issuing a very small number of system calls, as one generally wants to update such a status line every second. This ensures that even under high load, your status bar is updated correctly. Also, it saves a bit of energy by not hogging your CPU as much as spawning the corresponding amount of shell commands would.

j4-dmenu-desktop - A fast desktop menu

  •    C++

j4-dmenu-desktop is a replacement for i3-dmenu-desktop. It's purpose is to find .desktop files and offer you a menu to start an application using dmenu. Since r2.7 j4-dmenu-desktop doesn't require i3wm anymore and should work just fine on about any desktop environment. You can also execute shell commands using it.

i3blocks - Additional/custom blocks which fit my needs

  •    Shell

This has become an incredible big collection of blocks in use with i3wm. It can also be an inspiration of how to do stuff in bash. All scripts are written in bash. Every script should be optimized for performance.

dotfiles - Config files for linux (debian based)

  •    Perl

eyebrowse - A simple-minded way of managing window configs in emacs

  •    Emacs

eyebrowse is a global minor mode for Emacs that allows you to manage your window configurations in a simple manner, just like tiling window managers like i3wm with their workspaces do. It displays their current state in the modeline by default. The behaviour is modeled after ranger, a file manager written in Python. See the lighter and the modeline indicator at the right side of the bottom modeline? That's what you get to see after enabling eyebrowse.

betterlockscreen - 🍀 sweet looking lockscreen for linux system - i3lock

  •    Shell

Most of i3lock script out there converts your defined image to add blur, glitch or dim effect to image and it feels so slow and btw who needs dynamic lock background, its not like I change lockscreen background every 5 minutes. I wanted something that was fast and still should have all the effects I want for lockscreen background. Note: Make sure all dependencies are satisfied beforehand.
