BlocklyIO - A clone of paper.io, using Node.JS

  •        4

This is a clone of the original Paper-IO released by Voodoo, except for one aspect. This will attempt to implement a multi-player aspect of the game (like a real IO game). Currently this has a playground at this link. It's a demo version of what to come. Hopefully by that time, the necessary server infrastructure could be obtained. This is just a fun side-project for me. If you would want to use this code, it would be nice to let me know.

raspi-io - An IO plugin for Johnny-Five that provides support for the Raspberry Pi

  •    Javascript

Raspi-io is a Firmata API compatible library for Raspbian running on the Raspberry Pi that can be used as an I/O plugin with Johnny-Five. The API docs for this module can be found on the Johnny-Five Wiki, except for the constructor which is documented below. Raspi IO supports all models of the Raspberry Pi, except for the Model A. zio - unified io lib for pwning development written in python

  •    Python

zio is an easy-to-use io library for pwning development, supporting an unified interface for local process pwning and TCP socket io. The primary goal of zio is to provide unified io interface between process stdin/stdout and TCP socket io. So when you have done local pwning development, you only need to change the io target to pwn the remote server.

explorer - Data Explorer by Keen IO - point-and-click interface for analyzing and visualizing event data

  •    Javascript

Check out the demo here. The Keen IO Explorer is an open source point-and-click interface for querying and visualizing your event data. It's maintained by the team at Keen IO. If you haven’t done so already, login to Keen IO to create a project for your app. You'll need a Keen IO account to create a project. The Project ID and API Keys are available on the Project Overview page. You will need these for the next steps.

libsourcey - C++14 evented IO libraries for high performance networking and media based applications

  •    C++

LibSourcey is a collection of cross platform C++14 modules and classes that provide developers with an arsenal for rapidly developing high performance network based p2p and media streaming applications. Think of it as the power and performance of libuv combined with the features of FFmpeg, OpenCV and WebRTC, all integrated with the ease and readability of the stl (C++ Standard Library). Event-based IO — Core modules are built on top of libuv (the underlying C library that powers nodejs) and use event-based asynchronous IO throughout to maximize performance and minimize concurrency reliance for building mission critical native and server side apps.

cats-effect - The IO monad for Scala

  •    Scala

For when purity just isn't impure enough. In this way, IO is more similar to common Task implementations than it is to the classic scalaz.effect.IO or even Haskell's IO, both of which are purely synchronous in nature. As Haskell's runtime uses green threading, a synchronous IO (and the requisite thread blocking) makes a lot of sense. With Scala though, we're either on a runtime with native threads (the JVM) or only a single thread (JavaScript), meaning that asynchronous effects are every bit as important as synchronous ones.

async-io-demo - demo for rust asynchronous io: from mio to stackless coroutine

  •    Rust

2019 is approaching. The rust team keeps their promise about asynchronous IO: async is introduced as keywords, Pin, Future, Poll and await! is introduced into standard library. I have never used rust for asynchronous IO programming earlier, so I almost know nothing about it. However, I would use it for a project recently but couldn't find many documents that are remarkably helpful for newbie of rust asynchronous programming.

AncientBeast - 🐺 Turn Based Strategy Game. Master your beasts!

  •    Javascript

The project is developed with the use of free open source cross platform applications and freeware services. Mega comes in very handy when working on the game assets collaboratively, while GitHub handles the code part and stores the final assets. Art contributions can be made as well in our deviantArt group. Drop by our Discord chat and be a part of the community! Blender is being used for creating most of the assets, such as combat locations, creatures and their own animations, which are rendered into sprites that are usually made into sprite-sheets using our Spritify add-on, as well as for many other tasks. Krita, Gimp and MyPaint are useful for concept art, while Inkscape is useful for creating the vector creature ability icons.

ava - Futuristic JavaScript test runner

  •    Javascript

Even though JavaScript is single-threaded, IO in Node.js can happen in parallel due to its async nature. AVA takes advantage of this and runs your tests concurrently, which is especially beneficial for IO heavy tests. In addition, test files are run in parallel as separate processes, giving you even better performance and an isolated environment for each test file. Switching from Mocha to AVA in Pageres brought the test time down from 31 to 11 seconds. Having tests run concurrently forces you to write atomic tests, meaning tests don't depend on global state or the state of other tests, which is a great thing!

node-scrypt - Scrypt for Node

  •    C

Scrypt for Node/IO is a native node/io C++ wrapper for Colin Percival's scrypt cryptographic hash utility. As should be the case with any security tool, this library should be scrutinized by anyone using it. If you find or suspect an issue with the code- please bring it to my attention and I'll spend some time trying to make sure that this tool is as secure as possible.

node-promise - Promise utilities for Node

  •    Javascript

MIT License. The node-promise project provides a complete promise implementation. Promises provide a clean separation of concerns between asynchronous behavior and the interface so asynchronous functions can be called without callbacks, and callback interaction can be done on the generic promise interface. The node-promise package provides just a promise implementation, however, https://github.com/kriszyp/promised-io is recommended for more complete promise-based IO functionality. The promised-io includes the promise implementation from node-promise, as well as wrappers around Node's filesystem and other system I/O APIs for consistent promise-based interaction.

  •    C

Libmraa is a C/C++ library with bindings to Java, Python and JavaScript to interface with the IO on Galileo, Edison & other platforms, with a structured and sane API where port names/numbering matches the board that you are on. Use of libmraa does not tie you to specific hardware with board detection done at runtime you can create portable code that will work across the supported platforms. The intent is to make it easier for developers and sensor manufacturers to map their sensors & actuators on top of supported hardware and to allow control of low level communication protocol by high level languages & constructs.

boardgame.io - State management and more for turn based games.

  •    Javascript

The goal of this framework is to allow a game author to essentially translate the rules of a game into a series of simple functions that describe how the game state changes when a particular move is made, and the framework takes care of the rest. You will not need to write any networking or backend code.See changelog.
