keyboard - A terrible terrible soft-keyboard that randomises keys on every press.

  •        8

Typing is hard. We all know how difficult it is at times to press the right keys in the right combinations at the right times. It's a skill and it takes a lot of effort and coordination to do it effectively. That's why we made it harder.

sharpkeys - SharpKeys is a utility that manages a Registry key that allows Windows to remap one key to any other key

  •    CSharp

This is something that I've thrown together to help people out with their keyboard mappings. What's a keyboard mapping? How many times a day do you accidentally hit cAPS lOCK BY MISTAKE AND END UP HAVING TO GO BAck and retype stuff? For me it was at least once an hour - in fact, I used to pop off the Caps Lock key so I wouldn't hit it anymore, but I found something better in Windows XP, as well as 2000, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10. There's a little used registry hack that allows you to remap keys across a keyboard. For me, this meant that I told my computer to treat Caps Lock as if it was a shift key, which it now does. The more I started working with other keyboard, the more I wanted to have this ability to map other keys across my keyboard, but working with the Hex numbers and having too look up scan codes could be painful... hence SharpKeys.

composer - Reactive Android Instrumentation Test Runner.

  •    Kotlin

Problem 1: Our UI tests are stable, but we saw a lot of UI tests build failures. About ~50% of our CI builds were failing. All such failures of UI tests came from Spoon not being able to run tests on one or more emulators (device is red in the report and error message is …work/emulator-5554/result.json (No such file or directory), basically it timed out on installing the apk on a device, increasing adb timeout did not help, all emulators responded to adb commands and mouse/keyboard interactions, we suppose problem is in in ddmlib used by Spoon.Solution: Composer does not use ddmlib and talks to emulators/devices by invoking adb binary.

android-yolo - Real-time object detection on Android using the YOLO network with TensorFlow

  •    C++

android-yolo is the first implementation of YOLO for TensorFlow on an Android device. It is compatible with Android Studio and usable out of the box. It can detect the 20 classes of objects in the Pascal VOC dataset: aeroplane, bicycle, bird, boat, bottle, bus, car, cat, chair, cow, dining table, dog, horse, motorbike, person, potted plant, sheep, sofa, train and tv/monitor. The network only outputs one predicted bounding box at a time for now. The code can and will be extended in the future to output several predictions. To use this demo first clone the repository. Download the TensorFlow YOLO model and put it in android-yolo/app/src/main/assets. Then open the project on Android Studio. Once the project is open you can run the project on your Android device using the Run 'app' command and selecting your device.
