Motor_Driver-Dual_TB6612FNG - The TB6612FNG motor driver can control up to two DC motors at a constant current of 1

  •        91

The TB6612FNG motor driver can control up to two DC motors at a constant current of 1.2A (3.2A peak). Two input signals (IN1 and IN2) can be used to control the motor in one of four function modes - CW, CCW, short-brake, and stop. The two motor outputs (A and B) can be separately controlled, the speed of each motor is controlled via a PWM input signal with a frequency up to 100kHz. The STBY pin should be pulled high to take the motor out of standby mode. Please review the LICENSE.md file for license information.

autonomous-rc-car - Autonomous RC car using Raspberry Pi and ANN

  •    Python

This project aims to build an autonomous rc car using supervised learning of a neural network with a single hidden layer. We have not used any Machine Learning libraries since we wanted to implement the neural network from scratch to understand the concepts better. We have modified a remote controlled car to remove the dependency on the RF remote controller. A Raspberry Pi controls the DC motors via an L293D Motor Driver IC. You can find a post explaining this project in detail here. Here's a video of the car in action. We will be referring the DC motor controlling the left/right direction as the front motor and the motor controlling the forward/reverse direction as the back motor. Connect the BACK_MOTOR_DATA_ONE and BACK_MOTOR_DATA_TWO GPIO pins(GPIO17 and GPIO27) of the Raspberry Pi to the Input pins for Motor 1(Input 1, Input 2) and the BACK_MOTOR_ENABLE_PIN GPIO pin(GPIO22) to the Enable pin for Motor 1(Enable 1,2) in the L293D Motor Driver IC. Connect the Output pins for Motor 1(Output 1, Output 2) of the IC to the back motor.

phant - the data logging engine behind data.sparkfun.com

  •    Javascript

Unfortunately Phant, our data-streaming service, is no longer in service and has been discontinued. The system has reached capacity and, like a less-adventurous Cassini, has plunged conclusively into a fiery and permanent retirement. There are several other maker-friendly, data-streaming services and/or IoT platforms available as alternatives. The three we recommend are Blynk, ThingSpeak, and Cayenne. You can read our blog post on the topic for an overview and helpful links for each platform. All secondary SparkFun repositories related to Phant have been archived and pulled in as a subtree in the main Phant GitHub repository.

OptiKey - OptiKey - Full computer control and speech with your eyes

  •    CSharp

OptiKey is an on-screen keyboard that is designed to help Motor Neuron Disease (MND) patients interact with Windows computers. When used with an eye-tracking device, OptiKey's on-screen keyboard allows MND patients to complete tasks, such as email composition, using only their eyes. OptiKey can also be used with a mouse or webcam. Unlike expensive and unreliable Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) products that are difficult to use, Optikey is free, reliable, and easy to use. The OptiKey Wiki contains OptiKey's user guides, installation and system requirements, and additional support information. OptiKey's Windows installer can be downloaded from the latest release. To get an understanding of OptiKey's use, users should watch Optikey's introduction video.
