object-assign - ES2015 Object.assign() ponyfill

  •        47

Node.js 4 and up, as well as every evergreen browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera, Safari), support Object.assign() 🎉. If you target only those environments, then by all means, use Object.assign() instead of this package.Assigns enumerable own properties of source objects to the target object and returns the target object. Additional source objects will overwrite previous ones.

core-js - Standard Library

  •    Javascript

It's documentation for the unstable core-js@3, if you looking documentation for core-js@2, please, check this branch. Modular standard library for JavaScript. Includes polyfills for ECMAScript 5, 2015, 2016, 2017: promises, symbols, collections, iterators, typed arrays, many other features, ECMAScript proposals, some cross-platform WHATWG / W3C ECMAScript-related features and proposals like setImmediate. You can load only required features or use it without global namespace pollution.

proxy-polyfill - Proxy object polyfill

  •    Javascript

This is a polyfill for the Proxy object, part of ES6. See the MDN docs or Introducing ES2015 Proxies for more information on Proxy itself. Unlike other polyfills, this does not require Object.observe, which is deprecated. The polyfill supports just a limited number of proxy 'traps'. It also works by calling seal on the object passed to Proxy. This means that the properties you want to proxy must be known at creation time.

es6-shim - ECMAScript 6 compatibility shims for legacy JavaScript engines

  •    Javascript

Provides compatibility shims so that legacy JavaScript engines behave as closely as possible to ECMAScript 6 (Harmony). In both browser and node you may also want to include unorm; see the String.prototype.normalize section for details.

es6-collections - Map, WeakMap, and Set fast/simple shim for Harmony collections

  •    Javascript

This is a very old polyfill which served old browser decently for the last 4+ years. I am not actively maintaining this project but I would eventually accept PRs if you really need to use it. The aim of this repository is to provide an unobtrusive, performances oriented shim for ES6 collections such WeakMap, Map, and Set.

object-fit-images - 🗻 Polyfill object-fit/object-position on <img>: IE9, IE10, IE11, Edge, Safari,

  •    Javascript

🗻 Polyfill object-fit/object-position on <img>: IE9, IE10, IE11, Edge, Safari, ... To generate the font-family automatically, you can use the PostCSS plugin or the SCSS/SASS/Less mixins.

proposal-object-rest-spread - Rest/Spread Properties for ECMAScript

  •    HTML

ECMAScript 6 introduces rest elements for array destructuring assignment and spread elements for array literals. This proposal introduces analogous rest properties for object destructuring assignment and spread properties for object literals.

es5-shim - ECMAScript 5 compatibility shims for legacy (and modern) JavaScript engines

  •    Javascript

es5-shim.js and es5-shim.min.js monkey-patch a JavaScript context to contain all EcmaScript 5 methods that can be faithfully emulated with a legacy JavaScript engine. Note: As es5-shim.js is designed to patch the native Javascript engine, it should be the library that is loaded first. es5-sham.js and es5-sham.min.js monkey-patch other ES5 methods as closely as possible. For these methods, as closely as possible to ES5 is not very close. Many of these shams are intended only to allow code to be written to ES5 without causing run-time errors in older engines. In many cases, this means that these shams cause many ES5 methods to silently fail. Decide carefully whether this is what you want. Note: es5-sham.js requires es5-shim.js to be able to work properly.

xtend - extend like a boss

  •    Javascript

xtend is a basic utility library which allows you to extend an object by appending all of the properties from each object in a list. When there are identical properties, the right-most property takes precedence.

object-fit - Polyfill (mostly IE) for CSS object-fit property to fill-in/fit-in images into containers

  •    CSS

This is a headless polyfill for the CSS object-fit property which defines the sizing mode for content images (similar to background-size for CSS background sources). Please note that as Microsoft Edge does not support a good way to get matching CSS rules, and there are a couple of other issues that aren’t likely to be fixed, this polyfill is of limited benefit for most projects as all other browser vendors support object-fit natively now.

JobObjectWrapper - A .Net wrapper over the Win32 Job Object mechanism

  •    DotNet

A job object allows a group of processes to be managed as a unit. Job objects are namable, securable, sharable objects that control attributes of and assign limits to the processes associated with them. Operations performed on the job object affect all processes associated wit...

GAJavaScript - Library to simplify working with JavaScript and UIWebView.

  •    Objective-C

JavaScript is accessed from Cocoa Touch using UIWebView. GAJavaScript has the concept of a "script engine", which provides the primary interface to the JavaScript runtime inside the UIWebView. Essentially, the UIWebView is an implementation detail of this library, but you may want to manage the UIWebView instance used by the script engine. This class is the main interface to the library. It takes or creates a UIWebView and prepares it for use with the library. It implements UIWebViewDelegate so that it can load the library's JavaScript file when the WebView is loaded, and it implements support for calling Objective-C methods from JavaScript. It also adds methods to create new objects, either a simple "new Object" or using a constructor function. When you create a new object this way, it's lifetime is tied to the lifetime of the GAScriptObject that is returned, unless you assign the object as a property of another object.

ProgrammingAssignment2 - Repository for Programming Assignment 2 for R Programming on Coursera

  •    R

This second programming assignment will require you to write an R function that is able to cache potentially time-consuming computations. For example, taking the mean of a numeric vector is typically a fast operation. However, for a very long vector, it may take too long to compute the mean, especially if it has to be computed repeatedly (e.g. in a loop). If the contents of a vector are not changing, it may make sense to cache the value of the mean so that when we need it again, it can be looked up in the cache rather than recomputed. In this Programming Assignment you will take advantage of the scoping rules of the R language and how they can be manipulated to preserve state inside of an R object. In this example we introduce the <<- operator which can be used to assign a value to an object in an environment that is different from the current environment. Below are two functions that are used to create a special object that stores a numeric vector and caches its mean.

vanilla-modal - A flexible, dependency-free, CSS-driven JavaScript modal.

  •    Javascript

See the demo. Written in ECMAScript 2015 and transpiled for universal use with Babel 6.

jsbi - JSBI is a pure-JavaScript implementation of the official ECMAScript BigInt proposal.

  •    Javascript

JSBI is a pure-JavaScript implementation of the official ECMAScript BigInt proposal, which is on track to become a part of the JavaScript language in the near future. Note: explicitly call toString on any JSBI instances when console.log()ing them to see their numeric representation (e.g. String(max) or max.toString()). Without it (e.g. console.log(max)), you’ll instead see the object that represents the value.

proposal-class-public-fields - Stage 2 proposal for public class fields in ECMAScript

  •    HTML

Please do not create new issues/PRs on this repo. This presents two related proposals: "class instance fields" and "class static fields". "Class instance fields" describe properties intended to exist on instances of a class (and may optionally include initializer expressions for said properties). "Class static fields" are declarative properties that exist on the class object itself (and may optionally include initializer expressions for said properties).

Platformus - Free, open source and cross-platform CMS based on ASP.NET Core and ExtCore framework

  •    CSharp

With the full set of the extensions Platformus is object-oriented CMS and object is the central unit of its data model. Objects can be standalone and embedded. While standalone object can be accessed via URL (using some specified view), embedded object can only be used as the part of others. Each object consists of properties and relations and is described by its class. Classes describe properties and relations of the objects with the members. Each member has code, name, data type (for properties) or class (for relations). In addition, with the data sources, classes describe which objects are to be loaded together with the object.

classList.js - Cross-browser element.classList

  •    Javascript

classList.js is a cross-browser JavaScript shim that fully implements element.classList. Refer to the MDN page on element.classList for more information. This works in every browser except IE 7 or earlier.

negative-array - Negative array index support `array[-1]` using ES2015 Proxy

  •    Javascript

JavaScript doesn't natively support the use of a negative index to get items backwards from the end, but with ES2015 Proxy it's possible. Take a look at the source to see how simple it is to implement and read this short article about it.Proxies are objects for which the programmer has to define the semantics in JavaScript. The default object semantics are implemented in the JavaScript engine, often written in lower-level languages like C++. Proxies let the programmer define most of the behavior of an object in JavaScript. They are said to provide a meta-programming API.
