keycloak-kubernetes - Keycloak deployment into Kubernetes cluster

  •        274

This repository contains the tooling for deploying Keycloak application into running Kubernetes cluster. It is using PostgreSQL for persisitence. The configuration is in group_vars/all/vars.yaml. It configures different details of the deployment.

probably pointing on a task depending on a module present in requirements.txt (i.e. "unseal vault"). One way of solving this would be to uninstall the Ansible package and then, to install it via pip but it is not always possible. A workaround consists of setting ANSIBLE_LIBRARY and ANSIBLE_MODULE_UTILS environment variables respectively to the ansible/modules and ansible/module_utils subdirectories of pip packages installation location, which can be found in the Location field of the output of pip show [package] before executing ansible-playbook.

kubernetes-ansible - Ansible playbooks to build a kubernetes cluster from scratch

  •    Python

This playbook helps you to set up a Kubernetes cluster on a number of Fedora or RHEL machines. Doesn't matter how or where or whatever. Real hardware, VMs, honey badger don't care. Follow AWS.md if you want to install Kubernetes, which is aware of AWS and e.g. can download list of minions from AWS itself instead of static configuration file.

keycloak-gatekeeper - A OpenID / Keycloak Proxy service

  •    Go

Keycloak Gatekeeper is an adapter which, at the risk of stating the obvious, integrates with the Keycloak authentication service. The Gatekeeper is most happy in the company of Keycloak, but is also able to make friends with other OpenID Connect providers. The service supports both access tokens in browser cookie or bearer tokens.

keycloak - Open Source Identity and Access Management For Modern Applications and Services

  •    Java

Keycloak is an open source Identity and Access Management solution aimed at modern applications and services. It makes it easy to secure applications and services with little to no code. Users authenticate with Keycloak rather than individual applications. This means that your applications don't have to deal with login forms, authenticating users, and storing users. Once logged-in to Keycloak, users don't have to login again to access a different application.

postgres-operator - Postgres operator creates and manages PostgreSQL clusters running in Kubernetes

  •    Go

The operator watches additions, updates, and deletions of PostgreSQL cluster manifests and changes the running clusters accordingly. For example, when a user submits a new manifest, the operator fetches that manifest and spawns a new Postgres cluster along with all necessary entities such as Kubernetes StatefulSets and Postgres roles. See this Postgres cluster manifest for settings that a manifest may contain. The operator also watches updates to its own configuration and alters running Postgres clusters if necessary. For instance, if a pod docker image is changed, the operator carries out the rolling update. That is, the operator re-spawns one-by-one pods of each StatefulSet it manages with the new Docker image.

cert-manager - Automatically provision and manage TLS certificates in Kubernetes

  •    Go

cert-manager is a Kubernetes add-on to automate the management and issuance of TLS certificates from various issuing sources. It will ensure certificates are valid and up to date periodically, and attempt to renew certificates at an appropriate time before expiry.

kube-lego - Automatically request certificates for Kubernetes Ingress resources from Let's Encrypt

  •    Go

kube-lego is in maintenance mode only. There is no plan to support any new features. The latest Kubernetes release that kube-lego officially supports is 1.8. The officially endorsed successor is cert-manager. If you are a current user of kube-lego, you can find a migration guide here.

Patroni - A template for PostgreSQL High Availability with ZooKeeper, etcd, or Consul

  •    Python

Patroni is a template for you to create your own customized, high-availability solution using Python and - for maximum accessibility - a distributed configuration store like ZooKeeper, etcd, Consul or Kubernetes. Database engineers, DBAs, DevOps engineers, and SREs who are looking to quickly deploy HA PostgreSQL in the datacenter-or anywhere else-will hopefully find it useful.

kube-cert-manager - Manage Lets Encrypt certificates for a Kubernetes cluster.

  •    Go

This project is loosely based on https://github.com/kelseyhightower/kube-cert-manager It took over most of its documentation, license, as well as the general approach to how things work. The code itself however, was entirely reimplemented to use xenolf/lego as the basis, instead of reimplementing an ACME client and DNS plugins.

AWS (Amazon Web Services) is currently officially supported, with GCE and VMware vSphere in alpha and other platforms planned.

gardener - Kubernetes API server extension and controller manager managing the full lifecycle of conformant Kubernetes clusters (Shoots) as a service on AWS, Azure, GCP, and OpenStack

  •    Go

The Gardener implements the automated management and operation of Kubernetes clusters as a service and aims to support that service on multiple Cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, OpenStack). Its main principle is to use Kubernetes itself as base for its tasks. In essence, the Gardener is an extension API server along with a bundle of Kubernetes controllers which introduces new API objects in an existing Kubernetes cluster (which is called Garden cluster) in order to use them for the management of further Kubernetes clusters (which are called Shoot clusters). To do that reliably and to offer a certain quality of service, it requires to control the main components of a Kubernetes cluster (etcd, API server, controller manager, scheduler). These so-called control plane components are hosted in Kubernetes clusters themselves (which are called Seed clusters).

ansible-letsencrypt - An ansible role to generate TLS certificates and get them signed by Let's Encrypt

An ansible role to generate TLS certificates and get them signed by Let's Encrypt. This is handy for generating certs on a fresh machine before the web server has been configured or even installed.

kubernetes-ec2-autoscaler - A batch-optimized scaling manager for Kubernetes

  •    Python

kubernetes-ec2-autoscaler is a node-level autoscaler for Kubernetes on AWS EC2 that is designed for batch jobs. Kubernetes is a container orchestration framework that schedules Docker containers on a cluster, and kubernetes-ec2-autoscaler can scale AWS Auto Scaling Groups based on the pending job queue. The autoscaler can be run anywhere as long as it can access the AWS and Kubernetes APIs, but the recommended way is to set it up as a Kubernetes Pod.
