restify-oauth2 - A simple OAuth 2 endpoint for Restify

  •    CoffeeScript

This package provides a very simple OAuth 2.0 endpoint for the Restify framework. In particular, it implements the Client Credentials and Resource Owner Password Credentials flows only. Unfortunately, Restify–OAuth2 can't be a simple Restify plugin. It needs to install a route for the token endpoint, whereas plugins simply run on every request and don't modify the server's routing table.

swagger-node - Swagger module for node.js

  •    Javascript

The swagger module provides tools for designing and building Swagger-compliant APIs entirely in Node.js. It integrates with popular Node.js servers, including Express, Hapi, Restify, and Sails, as well as any Connect-based middleware. With swagger, you can specify, build, and test your API from the very beginning, on your laptop. It allows you to change and iterate your design without rewriting the logic of your implementation. Remember, one great thing about this approach is that all of the Swagger validation logic is handled for you, and all of the routing logic is managed through the Swagger configuration. You don't have to code (or recode!) any of that stuff yourself.

epilogue - Create flexible REST endpoints and controllers from Sequelize models in your Express app

  •    Javascript

Create flexible REST endpoints and controllers from Sequelize models in your Express or Restify app. Of course it's likely that we'll want more flexibility. Our users resource has properties for each of the controller actions. Controller actions in turn have hooks for setting and overriding behavior at each step of the request. We have these milestones to work with: start, auth, fetch, data, write, send, and complete.

apicache - Simple API-caching middleware for Express/Node.

  •    Javascript

Because route-caching of simple data/responses should ALSO be simple. To use, simply inject the middleware (example: apicache.middleware('5 minutes', [optionalMiddlewareToggle])) into your routes. Everything else is automagic.

express-graphql - Create a GraphQL HTTP server with Express.

  •    Javascript

Create a GraphQL HTTP server with any HTTP web framework that supports connect styled middleware, including Connect itself, Express and Restify.Use .get or .post (or both) rather than .use to configure your route handler. If you want to show GraphiQL in the browser, set graphiql: true on your .get handler.

i18n-node - Lightweight simple translation module for node

  •    Javascript

Uses common __('...') syntax in app and templates. Stores language files in json files compatible to webtranslateit json format. RestServer - A PHP REST server for providing a very light-weight REST API.

  •    PHP

A PHP REST server for providing a very light-weight REST API. Very easy to set up and get going. Independent from other libraries and frameworks. Supports HTTP authentication. After building a couple of RESTful services using the Zend Framework, I decided to create a dead simple REST server that allowed me to skip all the features I didn’t need as well as a tons of classes that came with Zend Framework MVC. There are still useful features to add (XML support for example), but overall I’m quite happy with what I’ve come up with.
