The screen and camera are managed by a raspberry pi. The motion is managed by a server running in python with OpenCV, the server web is in NodeJS. The motion server can't recognize gestures on a new environment : lights, hand colors... affect the process, that's why by launching the file and tweak the HSV min/max values and others configs properly you can set it up for your home. Pigo is a pure Go face detection library based on Pixel Intensity Comparison-based Object detection paper. The only existing solution for face detection in the Go ecosystem is using bindings to OpenCV, but installing OpenCV on various platforms is sometimes daunting. This library does not require any third party modules to be installed. However in case you wish to try the real time, webcam based face detection you might need to have Python2 and OpenCV installed, but the core API does not require any third party module or external dependency.

This python wrapper has minimal dependencies, and it also eliminates the need for C++ OpenCV library. For real time performance, one can additionally resize the images to a smaller size.
